How Agro-Waste Could Help to Solve the Beauty Industries Packaging Waste Problem

Abstract: In recent years, concerns about environmental sustainability have become increasingly important in many industries. The beauty industry, in particular, has been criticized for its high levels of waste. Beauty companies are responsible product significant amounts of waste from plastic packaging to unused products. However, there may be a solution in an unexpected place: agro-waste. The beauty industry could reduce its environmental impact and move towards more sustainable practices by utilizing materials such as fruit peels and natural fibers Sustainable packaging is becoming increasingly important in today's world. Not only does it help companies reduce their carbon footprint, but it also preserves natural resources that might otherwise be depleted.. Adopting sustainable packaging practices can also have tangible benefits for companies, including cost savings and increased customer loyalty. Developing packaging materials from agricultural waste can address both environmental and economic challenges. With the use of agro-waste, packaging materials are biodegradable, have a lower carbon footprint, and are cost-effective. By utilizing agro-waste, companies can also provide a new source of income for farmers and reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. Furthermore, agricultural waste-based packaging can enhance a company's brand image and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Electronic word of mouth, brand image and young customers' online purchase intention during the COVID-19 pandemic

PurposeThis study aims to identify the relationships between the electronic word of mouth (eWOM), brand image (Brand) and online purchase intention (INT) of young customers during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic period.Design/methodology/approachThe covariance-based SEM and the multi-group invariance analysis (MGA) were applied to investigate the proposed model with the data collected via an online survey during the fourth wave of COVID-19 in Vietnam.FindingsThe results showed that eWOM quantity (eQuan) has a significant positive effect on eWOM credibility (eC) in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, whereas Brand positively partially mediates the relationship between eQuan and INT, this construct plays a positively fully mediating role in the relationship between eC and INT. Finally, the results indicated that there is no significant difference in the invariance indicators related to the gender of respondents.Originality/valueThis study has some contributions not only to the theoretical framework for understanding the online purchase behaviour of young customers in the pandemic context, but also to the practical implications of how to use different dimensions of eWOM accordingly to enhance a company's brand image in the online business environment.

Corporate social responsibility and customer's responses: CSR authenticity and government intervention during the COVID-19 pandemic

COVID-19 had unparalleled social and economic impacts in many countries, including Indonesia. Companies are urged to develop corporate social responsibility (CSR) in this challenging environment to support society. As CSR enters a more developed stage, the government's role in initiating and promoting it has also been recognized. First, this study explores the company's motives for engaging in CSR, as well as the role of government by interviewing three CSR officials. Further, this study investigates the effects of CSR motives, CSR authenticity, and corporate brand image on community well-being and customer citizenship behavior, with government intervention as a moderating variable, by an online survey to analyze nine hypotheses. Using purposive sampling, 652 respondents from five local companies in Indonesia participated in the survey, and the data were analyzed using SmartPLS. The interviews showed two CSR motives and the role of government, and the survey showed mixed results on the impact of CSR motives on CSR authenticity and corporate brand image, the positive impacts of CSR authenticity and corporate brand image on community well-being, and customer citizenship behavior. Although high levels of government intervention are noticeable, this variable was not found to be a significant moderator. This study highlights the importance of how customers perceive CSR motives and authenticity, so companies should consider it when developing CSR activities. Engaging in CSR initiatives during a crisis may improve a company's brand image and customer citizenship behavior. However, companies should appropriately manage their CSR communications to avoid customers' suspicion about the CSR motives.

PENGARUH HARGA, KUALITAS PRODUK, DAN CITRA MEREK TERHADAP KEPUASAN KONSUMEN OEMAH HERBORIST

<p><em>This study aims to determine the effect of price, product quality, and the company's brand image on customer satisfaction in Semarang Herborist Oemah. The sampling method in this study used purposive sampling, namely taking sample members based on certain criteria. The certain criteria used as samples are; 1). Consumers who buy products from Oemah Herborist are individual customers, not corporate customers (business customers). 2). Oemah Herborist Semarang consumers are those who buy Herborist products for the 2021 period. 3). Customers have purchased Herborist products at least 2 times. Based on the samples taken with certain criteria above, 100 people (respondents) were obtained. Hypothesis testing uses multiple linear analysis methods with SPSS tools. Price has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction with a t count > t table, namely 2.941 > 1.984 and a probability value of 0.004 <0.05, product quality has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction with a t count > t table, namely 3,331 > 1.984 and a probability value of 0.001 < 0.05 while brand image has no effect and is not significant on consumer satisfaction with a t count < t table, namely 1.101 < 1.984 and a probability value of 0.273 > 0.05. The suggestion in this study is that companies should pay attention to the pricing process and consider several price indicators so that prices will not be a problem for consumers. Companies must also maintain the quality of their products to maintain consumer satisfaction.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> price, product quality, brand image, customer satisfaction</em></p>

Study on the Impact of Music Marketing on Branding of Short Video Platforms

Music marketing is a way for companies to use the characteristics of music art to enhance communication and exchange with consumers, to better meet their needs, to better integrate music with the company's brand image and products, and then to maximize the benefits of business activities under the marketing strategy of music. Through an in-depth analysis of the specific role of "Wave Trilogy" in the branding of B station, this paper summarizes the various reasons for the success of "Wave Trilogy" and puts forward three suggestions and recommendations for short video platforms: music video promotion should focus on authenticity; music content should be healthy and give people beauty; appropriate advertising music should be chosen for target consumers.

The Mediating Effect of Brand Image on the Influence of Electronic Word of Mouth Towards Purchase Intention for Somethinc Products (Case Study on Followers of the @somethincofficial TikTok Account)

Social media is an appropriate platform for conveying electronic word of mouth related to products, services, and brands to other users. One of the social media that can generate electronic word of mouth is TikTok. Conceptually, experts say electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM) communication can influence a company's brand image and consumer purchase intentions. However, e-WOM research via Tiktok is still limited in Indonesia. Therefore, to conduct such research, the researchers judgementally recruited 183 respondents as the sample. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with WarpPLS version 8.0 for data analysis, the researchers found that electronic word of mouth positively affects brand image. Furthermore, electronic word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, and brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Moreover, brand image mediates the effect of electronic word of mouth on purchase intention. Future researchers are suggested to use other social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

The Effect of Advertising and Brand Image of Citilink Airlines on Consumer Buying Interest at Juanda International Airport Surabaya

Currently, the aviation industry is experiencing rapid development. Evidenced by the many airlines that are present in providing flight services. Competition between companies looks so heated and companies are required to be able to try hard to set marketing strategies in advertising and improve the company's brand image to be able to win a competition. This study aims to determine the effect of advertising and brand image of Citilink airlines on consumer buying interest at Juanda International Airport, Surabaya. Sampling using non-probability sampling technique on purposive sampling. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents, namely Citilink passengers who had used Citilink flight services at least once with the age criteria of 15-35 years and over. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression which was processed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 application. The results of the study show that there is a positive influence from the advertising and brand image of Citilink airlines together on consumer buying interest at Juanda International Airport, Surabaya. This is evidenced by the results of the f test obtaining a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05 and R Square or the coefficient of determination of Advertising and Brand Image together contributing to the influence of consumer buying interest of 85.2% and the remaining 14.8% interest consumer buying is influenced by other variables not examined in this study

Layanan Purna Jual terhadap Kepuasan Konsumen (Studi Kasus Sepeda Motor Honda pada Bengkel Ahass PT. Mega Wahana Pesona Sengeti Muaro Jambi)

This study had purpose to find out how the influence of After-Sales Service on Consumer Satisfaction with a Case Study of Honda Motorcycles at the Ahass Workshop of PT. Mega Wahana Pesona Sengeti Muaro Jambi. The analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression on a sample of 100 respondents who are consumers at the Ahass workshop at the PT. Mega Wahana Pesona Sengeti Muaro Jambi. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of after-sales service on customer satisfaction at Ahass workshop at PT. Mega Wahana Pesona Sengeti Muaro Jambi. The company is expected to improve inventory management to ensure that the supply of accessories or spare parts does not wait too long. The company is also expected to optimize the promotion mix to improve the company's brand image. Future researchers are expected to develop research by examining other elements that are not present in this study, and not using simple models to obtain better research results.

Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan Dan Citra Merek Terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan Pada Laboratorium Klinik Kimia Farma Bengkulu

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and brand image on customer satisfaction at the Kimia Farma Bengkulu Clinical Laboratory and researches used research with quantitative descriptive methods. Quantitative research is research that describes and explains phenomena that occur in the field by perfoming statistical calculations.service quality and company brand image are one of the success factors of a company in maintaining customer satisfaction. Cuscomers at Kimia Farma Bengkulu Clinical Laboratory in the results of this study showed that together (simultaneously) revealed service quality and brand image had a very positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at the Kimia Farma Bengkulu Clinical Laboratory. With this the authors concluded that services quality and brand image plays an important role in customer satisfaction. This is indicated by the probability value (sig) 0.000 <alpha 0.05 including the test criteria Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

MODERN REVIEW OF ISLAMIC COMMUNICATION MARKETING

Modern communication is not something that is foreign in the era of globalization, the internet and technological developments have opened the potential of two-way marketing communication, namely online and offline communication is needed for companies. Modern communication can be a company opportunity or even a challenge for companies in marketing their products. A case study using the mix method method the researcher uses to reveal the marketing implementation of PT. X in the field taken from interview data sources, observations, documentation and questionnaires. The results showed that PT. X applies modern communication in promoting products through online communication by utilizing social media such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, Snack Video, Hello, Youtube and the website of PT. X, while the offline communication of PT. X applies direct communication served at the marketing office and indirect communication in introducing their products through a sharing program to be distributed to mosques, prayer rooms and the poor. Modern communication applied by PT. X has the principle of Islamic communication and raises aspirations and results towards marketing and the company's brand image

Retailing and servicing strategies for an imperfect production with variable lead time and backorder under online-to-offline environment

<p style='text-indent:20px;'>Online-to-offline (O2O) retailing strategy is one of the trending topics in the business industry. The current study focuses on an advanced retailing strategy for a single item for a retailer and a manufacturer. Reminding the revolution in the internet world, a dual-channel retailing system is developed in this current study. The retailer offers their item through online and offline mode, though the producer prefers only offline mode. Besides, manufacturer provide different services to their clients through the product's life cycle to keep the company's brand image. The product's demand depends on the selling price and its service for both channels (offline and online) to their customers. To upgrade the services, some investments are implied to decrease the lead time. In expansion, to increase the demand and optimize the system benefit, the manufacturer gives their customers different services (unpaid, partially paid, full paid). The supply chain's benefit is optimized beside the ideal esteem of the decision variables. {Application of different service strategies in O2O retailing are near about <inline-formula><tex-math id="M1">\begin{document}$ 71\% $\end{document}</tex-math></inline-formula> beneficial compared to traditional supply chain. Numerical experiment proved that full-paid services are near about <inline-formula><tex-math id="M2">\begin{document}$ 79\% $\end{document}</tex-math></inline-formula> beneficial compare to partially paid service; however, partially paid services are recommended for industrial benefit.} Different numerical examples, exceptional cases, and sensitivity analyses were performed to prove the model's applicability along with graphical representations.</p>

The Influence of e-WOM and Brand Image on Hotel Booking Intention in Jakarta: A Study of Generation Z

The era of digitization has made every daily activity involve some form of digital media or online interaction. The number of individuals using the Internet in Indonesia is expected to continue rising alongside the increase in population. As a result, information is now widely available without cost or restriction. This study examines the influence of electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) and company brand image on hotel booking intention in Jakarta. Using Generation Z is the focus of the study because the use of technology and the internet has become a trend for them before making a purchase decision. We collect data in the Jakarta area, expecting the Generation Z we examine to have already made online hotel reservations. Online surveys were distributed using Google Forms to collect the data needed for the analysis. A total of 211 people participated in this survey. In this study, descriptive analysis was conducted using the Smart PLS software. The findings indicated that the e-WOM variable positively and significantly affected hotel booking intentions in Jakarta. Brand image positively and significantly impacts hotel booking intentions in Jakarta. Then, e-WOM positively and significantly influences the brand image.

The antecedents of repurchase intention at user online travel agents in Indonesia mediated by brand image

This study examines the relationship between the perception of booking website quality, sales promotion, brand image, and repurchase intentions among local online Travel Agent Users, namely Traveloka, Tiket.com, and Pegipegi. The population in this study is consumers in big cities in Indonesia. This research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach which collects data by distributing questionnaires to 200 respondents. Data analysis used partial least squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that the perception of booking website quality and sales promotion significantly affected repurchase intention. Likewise, a brand image had a significant effect on repurchase intention. The results of this study also show that brand image partially mediates the effect of the perception of booking website quality and sales promotion on repurchase intention. The results of this study suggest that online travel agency companies can improve the quality of the web provided and continue to innovate in providing various services and promotions. By improving the company's brand image, it will be capable of influencing users' personality to continue to have the repurchase intention.

PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMUNICATION STRATEGY PT. ANTAM IN LOBBY AND NEGOTIATION

In everyday communication without us realizing it, there are circumstances that require us to campaign and negotiate with others. The most important thing that a Public Relations must prepare when he wants to lobby and negotiate is that he must first read who the target lobby is and know the techniques in lobbying and negotiating are the objectives of this research by looking at the communication strategies used by the Public Relations of PT. ANTAM in lobbying and negotiating. This research approach uses descriptive qualitative. The data collected is based on in-depth interviews or in-depth interviews involving relevant informants. Based on interviews with informants in this study, it can be seen that the lobbying and negotiation techniques used by Public Relations at PT. ANTAM in the face of distrust from the public from negative news so that the program that is being carried out can be carried out again as before, namely mitigation. As for the communication strategy used, the media used to disseminate information and programs that are being run by PT Antam are, by using mainstream mass media such as print media and television media and then through public service announcements, to convey information, persuade and educate the public with the aim of to build the company's brand image so that the problems faced by Antam can be resolved without creating new problems.

Implementation of Integrated Marketing Communication on Low Cost Carrier Airlines in the New Normal Era (Qualitative Descriptive Study at PT Citilink Indonesia Branch Office Denpasar)

This study aimed to determine how the implementation of integrated marketing communications at PT Citilink Indonesia Denpasar Branch Office as a low-cost airline in the new normal era. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are based on five dimensions of integrated marketing communication, showing that 1) advertisements at the PT Citilink Denpasar Branch Office use the company's digital on-channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube; 2) The company's direct & digital marketing is done through the website, mobile app & call center; 3) Sales promotions are channeled through social media and websites that offer promotions for free rapid tests, snacks & drinks, internet quota, round-trip tickets, and discounted stays; 4) Public relations is carried out through online media relations by providing positive news that helps maintain the company's brand image. 5) Personal Selling at the PT Citilink Indonesia Denpasar Branch Office is done through ticket sales counters at Ngurah Rai Airport.

Does brand image resonance as the determinant factor in cosmetic purchasing decision? A Case Study at Sari Ayu Cosmetic

The research aims to propose a model that can increase customer purchase decisions and propose a series of efforts to achieve that goal. The solution proposed in this study is rooted in the R-A theory by accelerating news sharing capability. Consumers are aware of the latest developments about the product, the quality, which leads to the resonance of a company's brand image. The population in this study was the buyer of cosmetic Sariayu Martha Tilaar. The sample used in this study was 100 respondents by purposive technique. Data collection technique by accidental using the designed questionnaire. The questionnaire has been tested for its validity and reliability before distribution. The regression analysis started with the classic assumption test (normality, multicollinearity, heteroskedasticity, and linearity test) afterward by multiple linear regression analysis. The model determined by the hypotheses testing applied F test, t-test, correlation test, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that none of the single variables stand alone. All independent variables in weak significant effect individually. Therefore, it is suggested that the Sari Ayu Cosmetic management should make a significant effort to pay attention to brand image resonance and price perception in line with the needs and wants of their potential customers.

The Impact of Viral Marketing Collateral on Brand Image: “#KwentongJollibee” Advertisement

Viral marketing is one of the essential strategies of businesses during promotional campaigns. Many companies have successfully used viral marketing as a profitable and effective marketing strategy. However, information regarding factors and elements that impact viral marketing remains unclear and how this viral marketing campaign influences customer perception. Drawing from Porter’s theory of competitive advantage and the Associative learning theory, this paper seeks to investigate the effect of the viral marketing campaign on customer perception and examine the impact of the factors and elements on viral marketing collateral utilized in advertising a company's product offerings by using a descriptive and correlational paradigm. From the digitally conducted questionnaire with 385 respondents, the results show that viral marketing collateral and its several elements and factors are significant in fortifying a company's brand image, thus positively impacting customer perception.

The Effect Of Using The K-Pop Idol Ambassador Brand And Company Brand Image On Purchase Decisions On The Marketplace Shopee

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of K-Pop Idol Brand Ambassadors and Company Brand Image on Purchase Decisions on the Shopee Marketplace for Class 10-11 Social Studies Students at SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo and to determine the most influential variables among Kpop idol brand ambassadors and the company's brand image on purchasing decisions on the Shopee marketplace for students in grades 10-11 majoring in social studies at SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo. In the sampling technique using Non Probability Sampling as many as 71 respondents, the data analysis used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the magnitude of the influence of Kpop idol brand ambassadors and the company's brand image on purchasing decisions at the Shopee Marketplace for Class 10-11 Social Studies students at SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo was 80.3% while the remaining 19.7% was influenced by the independent variables. not investigated in this study. This shows that the Kpop idol brand ambassador variable has more influence on purchasing decisions compared to brand image.

Corporate Social Responsibility and Customer Loyalty: Exploring the Roles of Customer Satisfaction and Brand Image of Company

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become an important part of organisations from various industries. Besides producing quality goods and services, and carrying out just the usual roles, companies are also now expected to be more sociably responsible. Recently, the electricity provider in Malaysia has come under spotlight due to looming regulatory changes. Contestable market or liberalisation in the local utility sector is vital as it provides customers alternate solutions with additional choices and flexibility when buying electricity. However, with the news of possible liberalisation that will occur, it is necessary for the company to know if customers will stay loyal when new competitors arrive. The aim paper is to study how CSR impact customer loyalty in electricity company. This cross-sectional study is conducted through a self-administered questionnaire. The partial least squares–structural equation model is also used to examine how the company brand image and satisfaction mediates customer responses to CSR dimensions. The research has proven that CSR has significant impact on customer loyalty. In this regard, the findings will encourage electricity industry players to consider CSR as part of their business strategy to improve their customer satisfaction and brand image respectively towards sustainable business development.

Marketing Communication Strategy to Improve Brand Image

The focus of this research was to identify and describe the marketing communication strategy of Tangan Kanan Bandung Convection in improving brand image among consumers through social media Instagram @tangankanan.bdg. The purpose of this research was to determine the message conveyed, the development of the promotional mix and the evaluation carried out. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method using data collection techniques, namely in-depth interviews and participant observation. Through purposive sampling technique, obtained two key informants and three supporting informants. The results showed that the marketing communication strategy carried out by Bandung right-hand convection in improving brand image among consumers through social media Instagram @tangankanan.bdg by conveying messages starting from the content of the message is a form of content that is informative, interactive, soft selling, and hard selling. For the development of the promotional mix using organic advertising, sales promotion by means of promos giveaway, special month promotions, and limited promos in carrying out a public relations approach by means of personal branding of the owners. Evaluations are carried out in a planned manner starting from weekly, monthly, and annual evaluations. Conclusion, the marketing communication strategy through message packaging, promotion mix and periodic evaluation carried out by @tangan right.bdg in improving the company's brand image is appropriate and effective among consumers.Research advice, also be active on other social media such as youtube to reach of a wider consumer
