Innovation and Practice of Computer Applied Talents Training Mode under School Enterprise Cooperation Education Mode based on Big Data

The traditional training mode of computer applied talents is not perfect. The course content of the school almost only includes theoretical study. The lack of practical teaching leads to many computer graduates do not meet the requirements of social enterprises [1]. Many school graduates of computer science will not flexibly use the knowledge they have learned. In order to effectively solve this problem, the Ministry of Education decided to adopt the mode of school and enterprise joint education to cultivate computer professional application-oriented talents. The combination of industrial enterprises and education is a key opportunity for school talent cultivation. This paper briefly introduces the traditional university enterprise cooperation of computer personnel training mode and puts forward its main shortcomings. On this basis, this paper puts forward the innovation strategy of computer application-oriented talents training mode under the school enterprise cooperation education mode.

Internal Logic and Implementation Ways of Industry-Education Integration

With the popularization of higher education and the optimization of industrial structure, there is an increasing demand for applied talents during the development of the society. The integration of industry and education, as an effective way to cultivate applied talents through college-enterprise cooperation, organically integrates higher education with industries and promotes the comprehensive combination of both structural elements on the supply side of talents and the demand side of industries, which is a new mode for running colleges and universities. The industry-education integration and the college-enterprise cooperation, however, still have problems currently, including insufficient consensus on the concepts, unsound system, inadequate motivation, scant resources and poor system supply. This paper holds that to deepen the industry-education integration, both educational organizations and industries should intercommunicate and integrate with each other, which require the enhancement of the consensus on college-enterprise cooperation, the co-construction of systems, resource sharing, cultural symbiosis, talent integration, win-win benefits and the like, in order to achieve the healthy development of the college-enterprise cooperation.

The role of the government in the university – enterprise cooperation

University–enterprise cooperation considers an active and efficient cooperation of the scientists, industry and the government. The university is a significant actor in this model as it not only produces knowledge, but also creates new opportunities, protects intellectual property and converts the research outcomes into a market attractive product. This cooperation ensures that educational programs equip students with the relevant competences, and entails research suited to the demand of the market and the government. This implementation helps the university realize its third mission – serve the country and support its economic development. This paper presents our attempt to describe the role of the regional government in the university– enterprise cooperation based on a regional university in Georgia. Despite the various studies regarding university–enterprise cooperation implemented in Georgia mainly dealing with single components of the cooperation, we tried to highlight the significance of the government in this cooperation and its authentic character.

Effect of university-enterprise alliance orientation on university’s innovation performance and market performance: evidence from Vietnam

ABSTRACT The study seeks to explore the influence of university-enterprise collaboration orientation on university’s performance. Specifically, the study investigates the effects of alliance scanning, alliance coordination, and alliance learning on university’s innovative performance and market performance. The effects were tested on the sample of 191 managers of 37 universities in Vietnam with a survey. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used for testing these effects. The results show that all dimensions of alliance orientation including alliance scanning, alliance coordination, and alliance learning are significantly correlated with innovative performance. For market performance, only alliance coordination and alliance learning are significantly relevant to, but alliance scanning has a non-significant effect. As the pioneering study examing the effect of dimensions of university-enterprise alliance orientation on university’s innovative performance and market performance, this study extends the extant literature, particularly the modest research domain of university-enterprise cooperation. The study also added empirical evidence of Vietnamese context – an underexplored Asian developing context for studies of university-industry linkages which is vastly different from other contexts like developed Western economies. Furthermore, it offered a revised measure of market performance of university that will be useful for future research.

Exploration on Training Mode of Professional Master Degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering

At present, many colleges and universities adopt the operation model of jointly training master's degree in architecture and civil engineering with enterprises. The usual enterprises and institutions are social production or service departments, which are different from ordinary colleges and universities. They have no experience in cultivating students, and colleges and universities emphasize teaching and scientific research. Being unfamiliar with the production practices and social services of enterprises and public institutions has led to a poor joint training path. This paper discusses the training model for postgraduates majoring in architecture and civil engineering, and proposes the establishment of a joint training base between universities and enterprises, the “dual tutor” system between universities and enterprises, and the establishment of research projects for students by the university-enterprise cooperation. In the assessment system, a three-point evaluation system of "credits-thesis-external tutors" is adopted. This study will provide a reference for improving the quality of professional master's training.

Research Trends in Open Innovation and the Role of the University

Innovation is a key aspect for the sustainability and competitiveness of organisations, and of the economy in general. In recent years, Open Innovation (OI) has burst onto the scene as a more open approach, in which the sources and exchange of knowledge are extended beyond organisational borders. One of the main actors and providers of knowledge is the University. The literature related to OI and the University is very prolific, but at the same time dispersed. This paper aims to expand on the trend in research on OI and University. To do this, bibliometric techniques have been used to analyse a sample of 349 articles from journals indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) between 2005 and 2020. The results suggest that there is a high level of interest in research on this subject and that it is in full swing. The focus of the research is on topics such as collaboration, business–industry, R&D, networks, performance or knowledge-transfer. Emerging themes such as knowledge-spillover or absorptive-capacity appear, which are related to the research sensitivity on the true use of the knowledge generated. In recent years, there has been a trend towards research into entrepreneurship, key aspects of R&D such as strategy and cooperation, or education management. With regard to research related to University–Enterprise cooperation, the focus has been on SMEs, Helix models, entrepreneurship, or commercialisation. Finally, there are areas of research that require greater development related to family businesses and SMEs. This work sheds light on the state of the literature related to OI and University and is very useful for the orientation of future work in the field of research.

Research on University-enterprise Cooperation Practical Education of New Engineering Majors under the Background of Integration of Industry and Education

With the implementation of the national strategy of “transportation power”, the transportation major is facing the transformation of new engineering majors. Practical education is an important link in the training of new engineering majors in application-oriented universities and plays a vital role in the quality of talent training. The transformation and upgrading of traditional majors has promoted the transformation of traditional school-enterprise cooperation to the integration of industry and education. Construction of the Practice Course System of the Major of Financial Management under the Mode of University-Enterprise Cooperation—Take Sichuan University of Arts and Science as an Example

With the deepening of vocational education reform and the development of new technologies, the financial environment of enterprises and institutions has greatly changed. At the same time, according to the pilot implementation of “1 + X Certificate” of the Ministry of Education, the traditional teaching of financial management cannot meet the needs of the new situation any more. How can we break through the bottleneck of the development of the major of financial management, strengthen the cooperation with enterprises, realize the integration of production and education, and cultivate high-quality and skill-oriented talents of financial management with the “big financial system” and an international vision? Taking Sichuan University of Arts and Science as an example, this paper studies the current situation of practice teaching of the major of financial management in colleges and universities, introduces the course practice content into the national vocational and technical certificate, promotes the integration of professional courses and vocational qualification certificate, discusses the new mode of the practice teaching of university-enterprise cooperation, and proposes some effective measures for the practice teaching of university-enterprise cooperation.

Caracterization of innovative culture in university-enterprise cooperation

El objetivo del presente artículo es caracterizar la cultura innovativa en los procesos de cooperación universidad-empresa del Departamento del Magdalena, Colombia. La investigación es de tipo descriptiva, con un diseño no experimental, transeccional y de campo; la población y muestra está constituida por 13 sujetos responsables de los procesos de cooperación universidad-empresa y cultura innovativa de la Universidad del Magdalena. Se empleó la encuesta como técnica y el cuestionario como instrumento de recolección de datos, constituido por 21 ítems bajo una escala tipo Likert, con cinco alternativas de respuesta. Fue validado por 5 expertos y calculada su confiabilidad en 0,87 según coeficiente alfa de Cronbach. En los resultados las medias aritméticas muestran una muy alta presencia de los indicadores correspondientes a los factores asociados a la cultura innovativa en la universidad. Se concluye que en la Universidad del Magdalena están dadas las condiciones para apalancar desde la cultura innovativa estrategias que permitan implementar ecosistemas de innovación que propendan la cooperación universidad-empresa y la articulación entre los diferentes actores sociales.

Open Innovation Community for University–Industry Knowledge Transfer: A Colombian Case

Academia–enterprise collaboration is understood as a determinant that improves innovation and competitiveness. The mechanisms by which this collaboration occurs have awakened increasing interest among academics, as well as in the business sector. This research aims to identify how open innovation communities can mediate the academia-enterprise relationship, as well as the factors that are more affected by this mediation. Based on the literature, the article addresses the definition of open innovation communities (OICs), university–enterprise cooperation, knowledge transfer (KT), as well as an understanding of OICs as a mechanism for academia–enterprise transfer. An analysis of twelve OICs, conformed by professors, students, graduates, and experts from a Colombian higher education institution is performed. For the data analysis, a factor analysis involving structural equation modeling is carried out. Our results highlight the most important characteristics to take into account in the study of knowledge transfer when OICs are involved, and they also indicate the level of connection between these factors.

The Influence of Innovation Resources in Higher Education Institutions on the Development of Sci-Tech Parks’ Enterprises in the Urban Innovative Districts at the Stage of Urbanization Transformation

Innovation is an inevitable way to enhance regional competitiveness, promote urbanization and achieve sustainable development. The sci-tech park is one of the main land use types in the construction of a new town and the critical space carriers of urbanization. This study focuses on the correlation between higher education institutions (HEIs) innovation and sci-tech enterprises (STEs) development, and the Hangzhou West Hi-tech Corridor as a case study. Innovation indicators of HEIs related to teaching staff, talent cultivation, scientific research quality, academic influence, and university-enterprise cooperation, as well as development indicators of STEs related to aggregation degree, development level, and innovation level are selected. The results show that HEI innovation is significantly positively correlated with STE development. The number of senior titled teachers, average number of citations per paper, and number of invested enterprises exhibit a strong positive correlation with STE development indicators. Regarding the correlation between HEI innovation and STE development, academic research HEIs and professional application HEIs are stronger than vocational skill HEIs. This study is conducive to improving land use efficiency and a sustainable development level of urban innovative districts. Suggestions are provided to support the researches and practices of urban innovative spatial planning and advancement of the urbanization process.

A review of university-enterprise-cooperation research in China: a quantitative perspective

The University-Enterprise-Cooperation (UEC) has been adopted by many universities globally to effectively utilize the high-quality resources of the construction industry, to improve the general competence, problem-solving skills and innovation capability of graduates of an engineering discipline. There are a limited amount of papers published in international journals on UEC, compared to a significant volume of Chinese published literature. However, based on the best knowledge of the authors, no existing literature has conducted a quantitative statistical analysis on UEC research in Chinese and international journals. In order to fill this knowledge gap, 300 high-quality papers on UEC were derived through the Chinese CNKI database from 2010-2019. The general development trend of UEC research in the past 30 years was also mapped and analyzed. The most popular topics under the UEC theme and the most frequently adopted research methods within the UEC field were also identified. It was found that since the first UEC publication in 1990, the number of UEC publications experienced a steady increase during the last decade, aiding by strong promotion from the government and active practice within universities and from educators in China. Course development (52.94%) and practice resource development (24.89%) were two of the most popular research topics in the UEC field. The elaboration research method was adopted by more than half (55.94%) of UEC papers, followed by case study (21.25%). The findings of this study are valuable for researchers and practitioners globally, to better understand the development status of UEC research in China and embark on future research in this field.

University spinoffs have remarkably strengthened the linkage between universities and industry. The number of technology patents and spinoffs coming out of university research has a significant impact on regional economic and social development. To further highlight the importance of university spinoffs, the article aims to review available literature on university spinoffs and present a comprehensive overview of what university spinoffs are, why they are important, what makes them significant, and how they are or can be created. In addition to reviewing existing models of University spinoff creation, the authors propose a new, multi-stage, holistic model.
 The authors explore how universities can promote new research-based businesses by suggesting that the nature of the supplied support depends on demands of spin-off companies. Adopting a demand-side perspective, the authors seek to understand the challenges faced by new technology businesses and hence identify how universities can assist their start-up and development.
 The paper nuances the common conception of a university as one uniform entity in relation
 to spin-offs, and assesses the literature including all levels within the university. The analysis of EU spin-off models, activities, methodologies and policies is based on the outcomes of the ERASMUS+ project “University-Enterprise Cooperation via Spin-Off Companies Network (UNISON)”.

A Practical Study on the Development of Internet Platform for University-Enterprise Cooperation Based on Computer - a Case Study on the Cultivation of Russian Language Talents

Currently, the mismatch between the talent output from universities and the social demand for talents has become a tough problem in the education and teaching of Russian language majors in China. In recent years, with the deepening of reform and opening up, the school-enterprise cooperative education mode has stood out from many school-running modes and begun to attract the attention of college educators. The mode of school-enterprise cooperation is based on the development and practice of the computer Internet platform, combined with abundant social resources, practice environment, and adequate funding, to address the difficult problem of Russian language teaching and talent training.
