The Effectiveness of the Use of The Result Determining-Lamp Media In Class IV Students at SDN Senden Peterongan

Concepts in mathematics include abstract concepts, especially for elementary students. So that teachers are required to always innovate in learning so that learning is effective, not boring and students more easily understand concepts correctly. This learning requires media that is appropriate to the material and cognitive development of students. The media used in this research is result determining lamp to determine the least common multiple (LCM) and the greatest common divisor (GCF) of a number. This study aims to discuss the effectiveness of result determining-lamp media to determine the results of LCM and GCF in grade IV students at SDN Peterongan Jombang. Effectiveness in research is seen from how the average learning outcomes and whether there are significant differences in student learning outcomes with and without the result determining-lamp media. Sampling uses a saturated sample, so that all class IV is used as a sample. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the use of result determining-lamp media is an effective determinant of learning outcomes because the average learning outcomes of the experimental class are higher than those of the control class and through the t-test there are differences in the learning outcomes of class IV students with and without the result determining-lamp media.

The authors examined the influence of study-abroad participation on the cognitive development of students across 17 institutions. Even after adjusting for several important potential confounding influences such as student precollege characteristics, college academic and nonacademic experiences, study-abroad intent, and a pretest measure for each outcome measure, the authors found that study-abroad participation enhanced students’ end-of-4th-year critical thinking, need for cognition, and positive attitudes toward literacy.

The Use of Snakes and Ladder Media in Developing Students' Cognitive Development

The result of his research is the use of snakes and ladders game media on addition and subtraction material gives positive things, namely student cognitive development in grade 1 students of MI Miftahul Huda.

The Construction of the Off-campus Field of Five Education Integration

Five education integration and learning field construction are two important parts of education in the new era that need to be paid attention to. This paper determines the main content and direction of the research design: using the advanced family committee-style home-school cooperation model, taking the idle off-campus institutions and social places after the double reduction as the basis, and the psychological understanding of education integration as the basis for curriculum design.

Pengaruh Keterampilan Mengajar Guru Terhadap Perkembangan Kognitif Siswa Kelas 1-4 Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah

The purpose of this study was to find out how much influence the teaching skills of teachers have on the cognitive development of students in grades 1-4 of the Diniyah Takmiliyah Madrasah at the Nurul Huda Cikupa Islamic Education Foundation Tangerang. This research approach is quantitative, and the population is all students in grades 1-4 totaling 41 students with a sample of 28 students. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation with testing instruments to test validity and reliability. The results showed that the influence of teacher teaching skills on students' cognitive development can be categorized as very strongly related. This is evidenced based on the results of the product moment correlation test analysis from 28 samples which showed that rhitung 0.827 > rtabel 0.373. And also based on the results of the correlation coefficient test, which is 0.789, the calculated value is 7.509 > ttabel 1.706. So in this study accepting Ha and rejecting H0 means that there is a significant and positive relationship between teacher teaching skills and the cognitive development of students in grades 1-4 of Diniyah Takmiliyah Madrasah at the Nurul Huda Cikupa Islamic Education Foundation Tangerang.

STRENGTHENING CHARACTER, ETHICS AND DIGITAL LITERATURE DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Character education is something that absolutely must be implemented because basically all teachers as educators have the same goal in shaping the nation's character. Character education is not necessarily the responsibility of moral education or character and Pancasila education, but is the responsibility of all fields of study. Therefore, in the 2013 implementation curriculum, the balance of learning domains between cognitive, affective, and psychomotor is an absolute output as part of national character education. Character is a person's character or morals obtained from internalization with their environment. A person's character will be good if it is based on moral and ethical values that apply and are agreed upon in society. Emphasized the importance of three components of good character, namely moral knowledge or moral knowledge, moral feelings or feelings about morals, and moral actions or moral actions. Good character will appear after the three character components can be fulfilled in students. The purpose of this service is to strengthen character, ethics and digital literacy in the Covid 19 pandemic situation. So this service is moved to provide reinforcement to schools so that they can help and facilitate the use of digital literacy. The method we use is to provide training to schools on how to use literacy easily. Because the result of the learning process is student character development, in reality online learning is carried out by each school only for student cognitive development. Students are only given assignments and the teacher explains their respective subjects, without asking whether students have bathed or students are already in a suitable place for learning, even though the task of a teacher is not only to build students' cognitive development but also to be able to build and instill values. Good personality traits for students and that is part of the main task of a true educator.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES IN SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The research discusses sports activity in school education, as well as contributions related to the cognitive and social aspects of students. It is based on the relevance that the practice of sport can contribute to the training of students. The objective is to discuss the limits and convergences of sports practice in school physical education, in an attempt to understand the influences of sports practice in school physical education for the social development of students. The research is bibliographic with qualitative aspects, the contributions were based on authors such as: Dias Et. Al. (2018), Common National Curriculum Base (2018), Gonzalez and Pedroso (2012), Almeida (2018), among others that covered the theme. As a result of the study, we revealed that sports practice positively influences the social, body and cognitive development of students, however, the limits were scored in the need for some schools to provide physical spaces and equipment suitable for sports, as well as if possible the school provide an assistant to the physical education teacher especially in school events and tournaments of sports activities outside the school.

Embodied learning for computational thinking in early primary education

This study examined how embodied learning experiences support students to grasp abstract CT concepts in early primary education. Forty-seven students were recruited from first- and second-grade classrooms. They had five embodied activities that simulated robot programming tasks requiring students to (1) figure out a route from a starting point to a destination, (2) convert the spatial information into codes, and (3) perform spatial movements according to the codes. The results revealed that students’ CT and spatial reasoning skills significantly improved after the embodied learning. No gender differences were confirmed regarding learning outcomes and attitudes. The students’ ages were closely related to their learning outcomes. The effects of embodied learning, differences between genders, and cognitive development of students were discussed.

The effects of university students' fragmented reading on cognitive development in the new media age: evidence from Chinese higher education.

IntroductionThe impacts of fragmented reading have been felt on a huge scale during the new media age. An increasingly fast-paced society and a corresponding drop in theoretical reading have affected reading literacy and cognitive development across communities—and among university students in particular. This study sought to identify the components of fragmented reading and cognitive development and investigate the former’s effects on the latter among university students in the new media age.MethodsPaper-based and electronic surveys were used to gather demographic and related-reading data from undergraduates at six Chinese universities in early 2021. After testing the data from 916 samples for reliability and validity, descriptive statistics were obtained and path analysis was undertaken using structural equation modeling.ResultsThe students reported relatively high levels of fragmented reading, particularly in its temporal form. Significant associations were found between the constructs of fragmented reading and cognitive development. Specifically, the fragmentation of content, time, and attention in reading behavior had significant, positive effects on cognitive breadth. However, each of these components was somewhat negatively associated with cognitive depth.ConclusionsThe findings disclosed the dual effects of fragmented reading on the cognitive development of students, opening a new perspective on this debate. As fragmented reading in the new media age grows inexorably, the study highlights the need to utilize its positive effects on cognitive development by integrating and classifying fragmented information into the mental maps of learners.

Peningkatan Pengetahuan Orangtua tentang Perkembangan Kognitif dan Sosial Peserta Didik di Kelurahan Sepinggan Balikpapan

The purpose of the socialization of student development is to find out about the cognitive development of students and the development of students socially. The socialization was held at Melati Anugerah Indah Housing RT 49, Sepinggan Village, Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan Province. The target/target of the socialization is the residents of Melati Anugerah Indah Housing with the criteria of parents who have elementary school children. The socialization was carried out by conducting interviews, questions and answers and documentation. Technically, the team held a socialization activity in one of the residents' houses. Participants in the socialization included parents with 20 elementary school-aged children. Based on the results of interviews and questions and answers, the results showed that (1) the cognitive development of students is a process of developing knowledge experienced by students related to the ability to think logically in solving a problem faced by students. The knowledge experienced by students can be continuously honed with a continuous process of training and learning both at school and outside of school, with the hope that when students face a new problem, students are able to solve it. (2) the social development of students is the process of developing student interactions with other friends in order to establish kinship and kinship relationships so that students can get along with each other.

ANALISIS MISKONSEPSI SISWA PADA MATERI TRIGONOMETRI MENGGUNAKAN METODE CERTAINTY OF RESPONSE INDEX TERMODIFIKASI DI SMA

The research purpose is to analyze the misconceptions by using the certainty of response index modified in trigonometric equations at class XI State Senior High School 9 Pontianak. that Research method used in this research was a case study. The subjects in this research were seven students of class XI IPA 1 and IPA 2 of State Senior High School 9 Pontianak. The instruments used in this research were diagnostic tests and interview guidelines. From the result of the study, obtained 8 out of 32 students had computation misconceptions, 9 out of 32 students had generalized misconceptions, 1 out of 32 students had specialization misconceptions, and 1 out of 32 students had theoretical misconceptions. Misconceptions experienced are caused by students are students' associative thinking, incomplete reasoning, wrong intuition, stages of student cognitive development, and student abilities. Generalizing misconceptions are the most common misconceptions experienced by students, the cause of this misconception is wrong intuition and the stage of students' cognitive development.

Tecnologias assistivas e a aprendizagem significativa no ensino de química para alunos surdos

This research evaluated the use of assistive technologies in the construction of previous organizers in Chemistry Teaching for a deaf student in the 3rd year of high school, from a state school in Boa Vista, Roraima, Brazil. A didactic sequence based on meaningful learning was organized to address the content of oxygenated functions with the deaf student, and to evaluate the learning process using a Portuguese text-to-lbs translator app. Attention was focused on assistive technology due to the various possibilities of use, which can be used as an aid to the teacher in the absence of a Libras Interpreter Translator (TIL). The results showed that the use of the application combined with teaching strategies that consider the specificities of these students and based on an educational theory, is an element that enhances pedagogical practices, in the construction of strategies and resources aimed at the cognitive development of students, whether they deaf or not.

FORMATION OF A PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER PROFESSIONAL VOCABULARY IN THE PROCESS OF LEARNING ENGLISH

The article deals with a relevant problem in modern methodology, namely, the issues of the strategy for the formation of future primary school teachers’ vocabulary, as well as some principles of promoting the language and cognitive development of students. To understand and analyze the process of forming a professional vocabulary, the article briefly considers the criteria for the professional vocabulary of teachers. The study focuses mainly on lexical exercises that contribute to the formation of the future teacher's own vocabulary and indicates that this process depends mainly on how often a person encounters a word and how deeply these words are processed. Reading professional texts in a foreign language is an important source of learning vocabulary, first under the supervision and with the help of a teacher, and later, according to the results of learning, independently or in a group. Specially designed exercises for such texts provide the necessary number of repetition, and also allow students to learn and use words that they do not often encounter in spoken language. An important component is the motivation of students to consciously and actively engage in the use of words, creating a range of activities that enriches understanding of the meaning words and focuses them on the use of words in speech. The main goal is to keep students interested and to cover the vocabulary from which the actual study of vocabulary begins. The process of forming a professional vocabulary of future primary school teachers is considered on the example of working with a professionally oriented text and conclusions are drawn about the most effective ways of forming a future primary school teachers’ professional vocabulary.

DAMPAK PEMBELAJARAN ONLINE TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI SMAK SANTO FRANSISKUS ASISI LARANTUKA TAHUN AJARAN 2021/2022

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the impact of implementing online learning on the cognitive abilities of students in class XI SMAK St. Francis of Assisi Larantuka. This study uses a qualitative method. The informants in this study consisted of students, homeroom teachers, subject teachers, and parents. Data collection techniques used interviews and documentation studies, while data analysis techniques consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study showed that the cognitive development of students in class XI SMAK St. Francis of Assisi Larantuka while participating in online learning was very low. The influencing factors are the learning methods applied by the teacher, infrastructures such as gadgets, data pulses, networks, parental support, and attention and awareness of the students themselves being less than optimal. The efforts made are that teachers need to prepare creative and innovative learning using relevant methods in accordance with science and technology developments, provision and assistance of learning facilities for students, and regular evaluation of the entire learning process that has been implemented.

The understanding of mathematical notions for the cognitive development of students

The research was based on the understanding of mathematical notions for the cognitive development of upper basic students of the "Colón Arteaga García" Educational Unit of the Chone Canton, in the period 2021 - 2022. The results of the research are shown, applied to students through a survey, to make known how they interact with a variety of disciplines in their comprehensive development, including Mathematics. Cognitive development is closely related to executive functions as a cognitive process and the relationship of its functioning applied to learning and problem solving. The objective of this research is to check the understanding of mathematical notions and their impact on the cognitive development of students, to achieve this purpose a bibliographical analysis was carried out taking as reference observations made in the Unit. The research has a qualitative approach, in addition to the inductive, deductive, analytical, synthetic, bibliographic and statistical method. It is concluded that the basic notions of mathematics have a positive impact on the cognitive development of students and the ability to learn to learn, achieving meaningful learning.

The research was based on a study of the pedagogical accompaniment in the cognitive development of the students of the “Pablo Enrique Albornoz” Educational Unit in the city of Santo Domingo. The results of the research, applied to students through a survey, are shown as a way to make known that teachers are the essential factor in the quality of education and to achieve significant learning in their students. The teacher-student interactions constitute an ideal space for education with daily activities such as telling how similar problems were solved in other circumstances, which will allow evaluating the factors that affect the student in his development of cognitive abilities. The objective of this research is to verify the incidence of pedagogical accompaniment in the cognitive development of students, to achieve this purpose a bibliographical analysis was carried out taking as reference observations made in the Educational Unit. The research has a qualitative approach, in addition to the inductive, deductive, analytical, synthetic, bibliographic and statistical method. It is concluded that the pedagogical accompaniment has a positive impact on the cognitive development of the students, making learning more efficient and of quality.

Cognitive development of students in solving mathematical problems

This research was based on the cognitive development of students in solving mathematical problems of the School of Basic Education "2 de Agosto" in the 2021-2022 academic period. The results of the research carried out through a survey applied to students are exposed, to emphasize the importance of knowledge and cognitive development. The problem of learning focuses on middle school students, especially on the mechanisms of memorization and application of methods and strategies that help solve mathematical problems. An exhaustive study of concepts was carried out to enhance the methods and strategies that help improve student learning. The objective of evaluating the educational model and the practice in the learning processes of the students in relation to their practice in the classroom. The research has a quantitative approach, using the inductive and deductive methods. The technique used was an observation guide during class development to determine the results of the investigation. The result was to change the teacher's methodology according to the previous knowledge of the students, leaving aside the rigor of the curriculum, to avoid gaps in the cognitive level.

IMPLEMENTASI MEDIA DAKON-MATIKA PADA MATA KULIAH MATEMATIKA KELAS TINGGI MAHASISWA PGSD UNIVERSITAS HKBP NOMENSEN PEMATANGSIANTAR

The study carried out on the cognitive development of students, found that the ability of elementary school teacher education students at Universitas HKBP Nomensen Pematangsiantar in involving learning media still needs to be improved. Elementary school teacher education students must have the ability to use concrete objects in learning mathematics, including things related to their daily experiences. The purpose of this study was to find out how to implement the use of Dakon-matika media in high-class mathematics courses for students at the Universitas HKBP Nomensen Pematangsiantar. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach with a sample of 40 students who take high grade mathematics courses. The data collection instrument used was an observation sheet on student activities in making and using Dakon-matika media. The assessment used uses a benchmark reference scoring system. As for analyzing the data obtained and answering the research questions, univariate statistical tests were used. Students are declared to have passed in the manufacture and use of Dakon-matika media if at least the student gets a score of 75. The results show that the ability of students to create and use Dakon-matika media still needs to be improved in order to meet the specified graduate learning outcomes.
