체육고등학생들의 심리적 독립과 진로결정 자기효능감 및 진로준비행동간의 관계 검증

The purpose of this study is to verify the verification relationship among Psychological Separation, Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy and Career Preparation for Physical education high school students. The subjects of this study consisted of 270 students in physical education high school in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and Daejeon City. SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 22.0 were used in structure equation model analysis. The results were as follows. First, psychological separation of physical education high school students showed positive influence(+) in career decision-making self-efficacy. Second, career decision-making self-efficacy of physical education high school students showed positive influence(+) in career preparation. Third, psychological separation of physical education high school students showed positive influence(+) in career preparation. As a result, We identify the structural model analysis that psychological separation can influence career preparation through career decision-making self-efficacy or it can also directly influence career preparation, adopting an incomplete mediated model.

종합병원 간호사들의 사회심리적 요인, 직무스트레스 및 피로와 간호서비스의 질과의 관련성

본 연구는 종합병원에 근무하고 있는 간호사의 사회심리적 요인(A형 행동유형, 자기존중감, 통제신념, 불안), 직무스트레스 및 피로와 간호서비스의 질과의 관련성을 규명하고자 시도하였다. 연구대상은 대전광역시의 6개 종합병원에서 근무하고 있는 간호사 503명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료 수집은 2014년 4월 1일부터 6월 30일까지의 기간 동안에 자기기입식 설문조사에 의하였다. 다변량 로지스틱회귀분석 결과, 자기존중감, 업무의 자율성, 상사 및 동료의 지지도가 높은 군이 낮은 군에 비해 간호서비스의 질이 낮은 군에 속할 위험비가 유의하게 감소한 반면, 전반적 피로 및 상황적 피로가 높은 군이 낮은 군에 비해 간호서비스의 질이 낮은 군에 속할 위험비가 유의하게 증가하였다. 위계적 다중회귀분석 결과, 연령이 높을수록, 주관적인 건강상태가 좋을수록, 직업에 대한 적성이 맞는다는 군, 자기존중감이 높을수록, 불안감이 낮을수록, 동료의 지지도가 높을수록, 전반적 피로가 낮을수록 간호서비스의 질이 유의하게 높았다. 이상과 같은 연구결과는 종합병원 간호사들의 간호서비스의 질은 사회심리적 요인, 직무스트레스 및 피로와 유의한 관련성이 있음을 시사하고 있다. The purpose of this study was to define the quality of nursing services in relation to a nurse's psychosocial factors (type A behavior pattern, self-esteem, locus of control, and anxiety), job stress, and fatigue. This study targeted 503 nurses currently working at one of six general hospitals in Daejeon city, the data were collected by a self-administered questionnaire, which was surveyed from April 1 to June 30, 2014. According to multivariate logistic regression analysis, the high self-esteem, locus of control, and strong support by supervisor and co-workers decrease the risk of a low career quality. In contrast, high situational fatigue and overall fatigue increase the risk of a low career quality. According to the results of hierarchical multiple regression analysis, the quality of nursing services increased with age, the subjective health condition was satisfying, aptitude corresponded to the jobs, self-esteem was high, anxiety was low, support by co-workers was strong, and the overall fatigue was low. Above results suggest that the quality of nursing services of nurses who work at a general hospital has a strong correlation with the psychosocial factors, job stress, and fatigue.

The Effects of Serious Leisure of Married Men on Leisure Identity, Family Function and Psychological Well-being

Background/Objectives: This study examined the effects of serious leisure of married men on the psychological well-being and analyzed how leisure identity affects family function. Methods/Statistical Analysis: This study selected the population of married men among lifetime sports club members who are currently involved in activities in Daejeon city used stratum and cluster sampling and the number of the cases that were used for the final analysis was 448. The data collected through the questionnaires were classified and input according to the cases. The statistic analysis method was correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and path analysis. Findings: First, the sub factors of serious leisure of married men such as professionalism, effort, identification, intrinsic reward, and inherent emotion had significant impact on the factors of leisure identity. Second, serious leisure had significant impact on family cohesion and adaptability of family roles but among the sub-domains of serious leisure, patience and effort had negative effect. Also, serious leisure had significant impact on adaptability of family rules, but among its sub-domains, effort had negative effect on adaptability of family rules. Third, serious leisure affected positive interpersonal relationship the most, followed by purpose of life, self-acceptance, personal growth, and autonomy in the area of psychological well-being. Fourth, serious leisure had direct influence on family function, leisure identity and psychological well-being, while it had indirect influence on psychological well-being through family function and leisure identity. Application/Improvements: Sports activities contribute to high leisure identity through seriousness of participation and the participants in leisure sports activities have sense of happiness as those activities are balanced with family function.

Effects of Health-Promoting Behaviors on the Subjective Well-being of Physical Therapists

PURPOSE: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of health-promoting behaviors on the subjective well-being of a physical therapist. METHODS: Survey data were collected from 247 physical therapists in Daejeon city. The baseline for health-promoting behaviors was determined using Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile (HPLP), subjective well-being was determined using Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS), quality of life was measured using the SF-36 (Short-Form 36), and pain level was determined using the Quadruple Visual Analogue Scale (QVAS). Health-promoting behaviors and related factors were analyzed using an average comparative analysis (t-test), and the factors relevant to subjective well-being and health-promoting behaviors were evaluated using correlation analysis (Pearson`s correlation coefficient). Factors affecting health-promoting behaviors were evaluated using stepwise multiple regression analysis (stepwise multiple regression). The impact of climate change on the decision-making process of potential tourists using the model of goal-directed behavior

In recent years, public anxiety over the effects of climate change has increased substantially. The mass media have highlighted the agreement of scientists that an increase of CO₂ resulting from human activities is the primary cause. In the mass media, broadcasts related to climate change caused by global warming have been prevalent. This study analyzes the model of goal-directed behavior by supplementing the mass media effects and the perception of climate change to the theory in order to investigate how the perception of climate change through the mass media influences the decision-making process of potential tourists. For sampling representativeness the research was conducted in Seoul, the capital city of Korea, and Busan, Daejeon, Sokcho, and Jeju, which are major tourism destinations. The data were collected from June 11, 2012, to August 30, 2012. A total of 475 questionnaires were used for empirical analysis. Results show the significance of environmental behavior, and therefore they are in accordance with previous research that shows that while perceptions of the environment can increase through information in the mass media, that leads to weak behavior and that in general the attitude of the public about the environment does not equate to behavioral change. Therefore, the implication of the study is that as the mass media have a significant effect on the perception of climate change, and rather than informing about the significance of climate change caused by dangerous factors, it is important to inform people of practical actions to take now in order to prevent greater damage in the future.

Analysis of University Student Awareness of Radiation Exposures from Consumer Products

Background: Since the terminology ‘radioactive consumer product’ is not quite familiar to the public and is often considered as negative and detrimental things, the educational curriculum is essential for establishing reliability of nuclear energy related and for the development of better communication strategy of radiation risk with the public. To provide base data which is valuable for establishing efficient curriculum of education and training about radiation safety, it is necessary to apprehend the different level of awareness of radiation exposures classified by various consumer products. Materials and Methods: On November 2014, a question investigation about asking awareness level of radiation exposure from various consumer products was done for university students who are highly educated. The object students are studied at a four-year-course universities which is located at Daejeon City. Results and Discussion: Although the average awareness level is comparatively low, the awareness of senior students, who major in radiation, nuclear related departments and male students are relatively high. On the other hand, the awareness of freshman, sophomore, junior students, who do not major in radiation, nuclear related departments and female students are relatively low. It is necessary to provide various information to avoid unnecessary concerns and misconceptions about radiation exposure. Conclusion: This paper will be an instrument for efficient establishment of curriculum of education and training related with radiation safety.

Exploring the Relationship Between Daily Routines and Physical Care Environments of Daycare Centers

Objective: The purpose of the study was to explore the relationship between the daily routines and physical environments of daycare centers. Methods: A total of 20 classes at 8 different daycare centers from the metropolitan city of Daejeon were investigated. Trained observers visited each daycare center more than 3 times and collected data about daily routines using the Observational Log for Daily Routines in Daycare Centers. Also, the physical environments of each class were investigated in terms of actual size, layout of activity center, etc. Results and Conclusion: Results of the study were: first, daily routines of daycare centers could be divided into 2 distinguishable types by cluster analysis- `free play oriented` and `group activity oriented` Second, the amount of space each child has in a classroom differed according to the total size of the classroom. An average of 7 activity centers existed in each classroom. Third, there was a difference between free play oriented and group activity oriented groups in terms of the classroom size allocated for each child and the organization of the activity centers.

버스이용환경이 이용자의 스트레스에 미치는 영향: 대전시를 사례로

본 연구는 대중교통 특히, 버스의 이용과정에서 이용자가 받는 외부 자극(이용환경)이 스트레스(육체적 정신적 부하)에 미치는 영향관계를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 요인분석 및 구조방정식모형(Structural Equation Model)을 이용하였으며, 대전 시내버스 이용자를 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 분석결과, 5개 변수 중 탑승혼잡요인이 버스 이용자의 스트레스에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 요인인 것으로 나타났으며(<TEX>${\beta}=.416$</TEX>), 다음으로 환승요인(<TEX>${\beta}=.392$</TEX>), 운영요인(<TEX>${\beta}=.265$</TEX>), 계절요인(<TEX>${\beta}=.150$</TEX>), 정류장시설요인(<TEX>${\beta}=.090$</TEX>)의 순으로 나타났다. 즉, 이용자의 스트레스는 시설과 운영의 양적인 요인보다는 질적인 서비스 수준 더 큰 관련성이 있는 것으로 분석된 바, 버스정책은 이용자 중심으로 전환되어야 할 것이다. 또한, 스트레스는 이용자특성(성별, 연령, 정기이용여부)에 따라 다르게 나타나므로 보다 세분화된 서비스 제고전략이 유효할 것으로 판단된다. This study analyzed that the impact of the bus use environment on users' stress in each step of bus use, from accessing to leaving to transfer, in the city of Daejeon. For this, we collected the stress data from 300 users using personal interviews at the bus stops and on-board bus. Also, we used factor analysis and structural equation model method for analysis of the impact of external and internal bus environments on stress of users. The results of this study showed that the highest stress impact factor was an onboard factor(<TEX>${\beta}=.416$</TEX>) including 'density and crowding', 'no seat to seat' and 'low ride comfort and safe'. The next stress impact factor was transfer factor including 'insufficient transfer information', 'lack of connectivity of bus and subway' and 'uncomfort transfer route'. From the above, we recommend that bus policies need to focus on not the supplier but users and also, this user based policy need to be more specified considering the characteristics of various users such as females, the elderly, irregular users, and so on.

The prevalence of burnout and the related factors among some medical students in Korea

This study was conducted to examine the relationship between the prevalence of burnout and its related factors in medical students in Korea. All available medical students in the metropolitan city of Daejeon, Korea, were asked to answer self-administered questionnaires from July 1 to July 26 in 2013. A total of 534 medical students participated. The Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) and structured questionnaires on related factors were used. Confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach's α were used to verify the applicability of the MBI-SS to medical students in Korea. We also performed chi-square test and logistic regression analysis to identify the factors that were associated with burnout. The MBI-SS was reliable and valid in measuring burnout in Korean medical students. Our confirmatory factor analysis approved and explained the appropriateness of the model fit. The prevalence of burnout among medical students was 26.4% (n=141). Suchrates were higher in students who were female, experienced greater levels of depression, had poor academic performance, feared dropping out, and were stressed by the poor quality of the class facilities. The MBI-SS is a valid instrument to measure academic burnout in Korean medical students. Further studies should be performed, because improvements in the mental health of medical students will benefit these doctors-to-be and their future patients.

Effectiveness of Blended Learning Method on Digital Logic Circuit

An ideal teaching-learning method, such as the blended learning method, is to motivate interests in education and to allow active class participation of students. Students exposed to this method are hypothesized to be dedicated in learning and their school life. A research was conducted on <TEX>$11^{th}$</TEX> graders in Daejeon city high school specialized in industry; the blended learning method was applied to a course, digital logic circuit and the effects on the students' learning were monitored. The result shows that compared with a common leaning method, the blended learning method is very effective in terms of increasing educational interest, class participation, the level of concentration in class and academic achievement of students. Also, it shows positive feedbacks from the students on the educational videos and the usage of the contents. Conclusively, the blended learning method effectively increases academic achievements through improved educational motivation and active class participation which positively affect the overall satisfaction of participants.

An Analytical Planning Model to Estimate the Optimal Density of Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles.

The charging infrastructure location problem is becoming more significant due to the extensive adoption of electric vehicles. Efficient charging station planning can solve deeply rooted problems, such as driving-range anxiety and the stagnation of new electric vehicle consumers. In the initial stage of introducing electric vehicles, the allocation of charging stations is difficult to determine due to the uncertainty of candidate sites and unidentified charging demands, which are determined by diverse variables. This paper introduces the Estimating the Required Density of EV Charging (ERDEC) stations model, which is an analytical approach to estimating the optimal density of charging stations for certain urban areas, which are subsequently aggregated to city level planning. The optimal charging station’s density is derived to minimize the total cost. A numerical study is conducted to obtain the correlations among the various parameters in the proposed model, such as regional parameters, technological parameters and coefficient factors. To investigate the effect of technological advances, the corresponding changes in the optimal density and total cost are also examined by various combinations of technological parameters. Daejeon city in South Korea is selected for the case study to examine the applicability of the model to real-world problems. With real taxi trajectory data, the optimal density map of charging stations is generated. These results can provide the optimal number of chargers for driving without driving-range anxiety. In the initial planning phase of installing charging infrastructure, the proposed model can be applied to a relatively extensive area to encourage the usage of electric vehicles, especially areas that lack information, such as exact candidate sites for charging stations and other data related with electric vehicles. The methods and results of this paper can serve as a planning guideline to facilitate the extensive adoption of electric vehicles.

구조방정식모형을 이용한 종합병원 간호사들의 간호서비스의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석

본 연구는 종합병원에 근무하고 있는 간호사의 사회심리적 요인(A형 행동유형, 자기존중감, 통제신념, 불안), 직무스 트레스 및 피로수준이 간호서비스의 질에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 시도하였다. 연구대상은 대전광역시의 6개 종합병원에 근무하고 있는 간호사 503명으로 하였으며, 자료 수집은 2014년 4월 1일부터 6월 30일까지의 기간 동안에 구조화된 무기명 자기기입식 설문조사에 의하였다. 공분산 구조분석에 의한 연구결과, 사회심리적 요인은 직무스트레스나 피로보다 간호서비 스의 질에 더 큰 영향을 미쳤으며, 사회심리적 요인에서 자기존중감이 높고, 불안감이 낮으며, 직무스트레스와 피로도가 낮을 수록 간호서비스의 질을 높이는 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 같은 연구결과는 종합병원 간호사들의 간호서비스의 질은 사회심리적 요인(자기존중감, 불안), 직무스트레스 및 피로와 유의한 관련성이 있음을 시사한다.

The Effects of Personal Traits and Exercise Participation on Well-dying and Life Quality of the Male Elderly

It is human’s basic desire that he improves his life quality to maintain happy and healthy life throughout his life. Therefore, they participate in exercises to maintain healthy and happy life before death. This study aimed to analyze the effects of personal traits and exercise participation on well-dying and life quality of the male elderly. This study collected total 361 samples with 292 participating and 69 non-participating elderly males in exercise from Seoul, Daejeon City and Kyunggi Province. The questionnaire was composed with 6 questions on personal traits, 4 on exercise participation, 12 on welldying, and 9 on life quality. To verify research subjects, Analysis of variance (ANOVA), t-test and multiple regression analysis were performed. The results of this study were as follows. First, the elderly with higher academic background had higher physical and mental health of life quality. The married elderly had higher social health than the divorced and estranged. The wealthy elderly had higher physical and mental health than the economically deprived and wealthless in economical state. In physical condition, the elderly with high physical condition had higher physical and mental health than the one with very bad. The elderly participating in exercise had higher physical and mental health than the non-participating. Second, the elderly exercised during 3 hours had higher physical and mental health than the one during 1 hour, and, according to exercise period, the one had done less than 1 year had higher physical health than the one more than 15 years. Third, among sub variables of well-dying, death anxiety had negative effect on physical health, and, preparation for death, necessity of education for preparing death, and acceptance attitude for death had positive effects on mental health. On social health, preparation for death and acceptance attitude for death had positive effects, and death anxiety had negative effect.

대학생의 자율성지지와 자기조절 동기가 학습성과에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine relations in autonomy support, self-determined motivation, and learning outcomes among college students. The subjects of this study were 231 college students in Jeonnam Province and Daejeon city, sampled by convenience sampling. The result of this study is as follows: First, perceived autonomy support had a significant direct positive effect on identified and intrinsic motivation. Also perceived autonomy support had a significant direct positive effect on learning outcomes and processes. Second, external had a significant positive effect on duty motivation and duty motivation had a direct positive effect on identified duty. In addition to identified motivation had a significant positive effect on intrinsic motivation, learning outcomes and processes. Third, intrinsic motivation had positively influenced on learning outcomes and processes. As the last of the findings, perceived autonomy support, duty motivation and identified motivation had significant effects on learning outcomes and processes. These results imply that perceived autonomy and self-determination motivation is important to enhance academic performance.

숲 체험활동에 대한 유아교사들의 인식 및 요구에 관한 연구

This study is intended to look into early childhood teachers' perceptions and needs for forest experience activities. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to 170 early childhood teachers in kindergartens and child care centers in Daejeon city. The SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science) v. 18.0 was used for data analysis through the process of data coding and data cleaning. The frequency analysis was conducted for the general state of those surveyed. The frequency analysis, ANOVA and factor analysis were conducted for the perceptions and needs for forest experience activities. The findings showed that early childhood teachers had positive perceptions for the educational effects of forest experience activities. Especially, they perceived that the educational programs of forest experience activities need to be highly recommended to early children as forest experience education is important for forest experience activities. Consequently, forest experience education is just as important and useful for early children to learn the importance of coexistence with human and nature, and develop a sense of community by interacting with nature.

건강검진자료에 의한 일반 성인의 생활습관과 비민지표와의 관련성

The purpose of this study was to obtain the relationship between life styles and obesity indices, and to investigate the influence of life styles on obesity indices among adults who examined health checkup in an university hospital. The subjects for this study were 4,112 adults who underwent medical examinations at a health center of a university hospital in Daejeon city from Jan 2012 to Dec 2013. We surveyed the life styles and obesity indices of study subjects from self-recorded questionnaires and medical examination charts after confirmed IRB of the hospital. As a results, the levels of obesity indices of subjects was closely correlated with increasing age, and life styles as alcohol drinking, smoking, regular exercise, overeating, meat consumption. The influence of life styles on obesity indices was incident in female than in male. And the main risk factors were regular exercise factor in obesity indices in both sex.

Sphingomonas lacus sp. nov., an astaxanthin-dideoxyglycoside-producing species isolated from soil near a pond.

Taxonomic studies were performed on an astaxanthin-dideoxyglycoside-producing strain, designated PB304(T), isolated from soil near a pond in Daejeon city, South Korea. Cells of strain PB304(T) were Gram-staining-negative, strictly aerobic, orange-coloured and motile, and occurred as single or paired short chains. PB304(T) did not contain bacteriochlorophyll a. 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis revealed that strain PB304(T) was closely related to 'Sphingomonas humi' KCTC 12341 (98.7%), Sphingomonas kaistensis KCTC 12344(T)(97.9%), Sphingomonas astaxanthinifaciens DSM 22298(T) (97.6%) and Sphingomonas ginsengisoli KCTC 12630(T) (97.5%). Analysis of pufLM gene sequences revealed strain PB304(T) to be closely related to 'S. humi' KCTC 12341 (88.1%). The major cellular fatty acids were C16 : 0, summed feature 4 (comprising iso-C15 : 0 2-OH and/or C16 : 1ω7c), and summed feature 7 (comprising C18 : 1ω7c/ω9t/ω12t). Ubiquinone 10 (Q-10) was the sole quinone identified, and the major pigment was astaxanthin dideoxyglycoside. The major polar lipids were sphingoglycolipid, phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylglycerol, diphosphatidylglycerol and phosphatidylethanolamine. The polyamine was spermidine. The DNA-DNA relatedness values of strain PB304(T) with respect to its closest phylogenetic neighbours were 57.1% for 'S. humi' KCTC 12341, 51.2% for Sphingomonas kaistensis KCTC 12334T, 50.6% for Sphingomonas astaxanthinifaciens DSM 22298(T) and 50.2% for Sphingomonas ginsengisoli KCTC 12630(T). The DNA G+C content of strain PB304(T) was 66.6 mol%. On the basis of the phenotypic, chemotaxonomic and phylogenetic data, strain PB304T is concluded to represent a novel species of the genus Sphingomonas, for which the name Sphingomonas lacus is proposed. The type strain is PB304(T) ( = KCTC 32458(T) = CECT 8383(T)).

Analysis of the relationship between the kinetic energy and intensity of rainfall in Daejeon, Korea

The kinetic energy and momentum of rainfall are widely used as erosivity indicators for estimating soil detachment (erosion) induced by the impact of raindrops. Because direct measurements of the force or kinetic energy of rainfall on ground surfaces are not widely available, many empirical relationships have been derived to link the kinetic energy and intensity (I) of rainfall, the factor that has the most control over soil erosion and is readily accessible. This study considered three rainfall erosivity indices: kinetic energy expenditure (KEtime, J m−2 h−1), kinetic energy content (KEmm, J m−2 mm−1), and momentum (M, kg m s−1 m−2 s−1 or N m−2). The relationships between these rainfall erosivity indices (KEtime, KEmm, and M) and rainfall intensity were established by fitting to an existing functional model based on measurements of the number of drops by size and terminal velocity made from January 2010 to July 2011 using a laser optical disdrometer in Daejeon City, Korea. The best fit for the relationship between the three kinetic energy indices and rainfall intensity was obtained with a power law (KEtime-I, and M−I) and an exponential model (KEmm-I). Validation results for two different events indicated good performance for the KEtime-I and M−I equations, with a similar distribution of observed data and power-law curve fitting. However, the rainfall momentum index produced much lower uncertainty as determined from the measured terminal velocity when the equipment was exposed to in situ changeable conditions. Therefore, we suggest that the power-law relationship between momentum and rainfall intensity is the most suitable equation for the prediction of rainfall erosivity.

본 연구는 방문 요양보호사의 대인관계가 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것으로, 방문 요양보호사들의 대인관계는 대인서비스적 업무 특성을 고려하여 수급자, 보호자, 동료, 기관장과의 관계로 구분하였다. 대전광역시의 방문요양서비스 제공기관에 근무하는 요양보호사 336명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0프로그램을 이용하여 신뢰도분석, 빈도분석, 상관관계분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 최종 분석 결과, 인구사회학적 특성의 영향력은 유의미하지 않았으나, 업무수행관련 특성 중 업무비중 우선순위, 이직경험, 직업선택이유는 직무만족에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 보호자와의 관계를 제외한 대인관계 요인은 영향력이 가장 큰 변수로서 직무만족에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 영향력은 기관장과의 관계, 수급자와의 관계, 동료와의 관계 순으로 컸으며, 관계가 좋을수록 직무만족도가 높았다. 본 연구결과는 방문 요양보호사의 직무만족을 향상시키기 위해, 기관 내외적으로 원만한 대인관계를 형성 할 수 있는 환경을 조성할 필요가 있음을 보여주고 있다. This study was to investigate the effects of interpersonal relationships on job satisfaction of home-visiting care helpers and the category of interpersonal relationships was subdivided into elderly clients, guardians, colleagues and directors considering the person-to-person nature of home-visiting care helper's job characteristics. A group of 336 care helpers who engaged in home-visiting care service providing facilities in Daejeon City was selected as a research subject, and the data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 program using reliability, frequency, correlation and hierarchical multiple regression. The results for the final analysis revealed that the effect of socio-demographic features was not significant while, among characteristics of job performances, work priority, turnover experience, and career choice reasons turned out to have significant impacts on job satisfaction. In particular, interpersonal relationships except the one with guardians were found to be the most influential variables and the effects of those relationships on job satisfaction were significant. The influencing power was stronger in relationships with director, elderly clients, and colleagues in order, and the job satisfaction level was higher as they were in better relationships with director, elderly clients, and colleagues. The results of this research shows that it is necessary to set an atmosphere where harmonious interpersonal relationships can be formed inside and outside of facilities in order to improve job satisfaction of home-visiting care helpers.
