FEASIBILITY SIMULATION OF EEL (Monopterus albus) CULTIVATION IN CLEAR WATER

Before undertaking the cultivation of eel (Monopterus albus) in clear water to obtain optimal results, it is necessary to conduct a business feasibility analysis simulation study. This study aims to determine the feasibility analysis simulation of eel cultivation in clear water as an illustration to start aquaculture business. The method used in this study is a literature review or library research, where the data collection method is entirely with secondary data or literature study. Secondary data is collected by reviewing from references in the form of journals, books and online articles that are still related. The calculation of business feasibility analysis is carried out by calculating investment costs, fixed costs, variable costs, calculating production costs, revenues, R/C Ratio and PBP. The results of the calculation of the business feasibility simulation show that the production cost is Rp. 12,921,000/year, revenue of Rp. 25,350,000/year, a profit of Rp. 21,043,000, R/C Ratio of 1.6 and PBP (Payback Period) of 0.008 where the investment capital for eel cultivation will return in less than 1 year. Therefore, the eel cultivation business in the first quarter of 2022 can be said to be profitable and feasible.

Readiness of Village-Owned Enterprise's to Respond to the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the COVID-19 in Wangisagara Village, West Java

Village-owned enterprise (BUMDes), Niagara, located in Wangisagara Village, have an important role in realizing the village development index as an independent village in the Bandung Regency. The long history of the establishment of BUMDes shows indications of BUMDes governance that can adapt to the times. In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, many businesses will lose due to automation. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a decline in economic activity due to restrictions on businesses in the village. The purpose of the study was to identify the governance pattern of BUMDes Niagara in responding to the industrial revolution 4.0 era as a form of assessing the readiness of BUMDes to respond to technological developments. The research method was carried out using a mixed approach of quantitative and qualitative data sources using primary surveys in the form of questionnaires and interviews as well as observations and secondary data in the form of village data collection. The results of the study indicated that the policy, planning, R&D, secretariat, capital, and human resource governance are categorized as good enough but have not been equipped with business feasibility analysis and online submissions. Meanwhile, the dimensions of production, logistics, and marketing governance still use manual systems.

PERKEMBANGAN BUM DESA ANNUR DALAM UPAYA PEMBANGUNAN DESA PURWODADI KECAMATAN SUNGGAL KABUPATEN DELI SERDANG

BUM Desa is a village business institution managed by the village community in an effort to strengthen the local economy of the community formed based on the needs and potential of the village. BUM Desa is an alternative program in village development efforts, village development that focuses on community empowerment and village economic empowerment. The purpose of this study is to know and describe the implications of the existence of BUM Desa Annur in Purwodadi Village on the efforts to develop Purwodadi Village, as well as to know and describe the factors that affect the development of BUM Desa Annur. Research i This is qualitative with a descriptive approach and uses purposive sampling techniques. Data is collected through interviews, observations, documentation and literature studies. Data is analyzed through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. Based on the results of research implications for the existence of BUM Desa Annur on the development efforts of Purwodadi Village is the occurrence of economic improvement of village communities which is indicated by an increase in the number of UMKM business units in rural communities, and also the absorption of labor as a result of the increasing number of community business units. There are two factors that affect the development of BUM Desa Annur, first the factors supporting the development of BUM Annur Village, namely the people of Purwodadi Village, are the majority of UMKM business actors so that they have superior UMKM potential. Second, the factors that inhibit the development of BUM Annur Village are the lack of business capital owned, the occurrence of bad loans from the community, the absence of good business planning and business feasibility analysis to consider the potential success and challenges of previous businesses.

FEASIBILITY SIMULATION OF HOUSEHOLD SCALE CATFISH RAISING BUSINESS IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2022

- The first quarter of 2022 in Indonesia experienced an increase in the prices of basic necessities which could increase the amount of capital needed in a catfish (Clarias sp.) rearing business. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a feasibility analysis simulation study of catfish rearing business to determine the capital and feasibility of the business. The method used in this study is a literature review or library research, where the data collection method is entirely with secondary data or literature study. Secondary data is collected by reviewing from references in the form of journals, books and online articles that are still related. The calculation of business feasibility analysis is carried out by calculating investment costs, fixed costs, variable costs, calculating production costs, revenues, profits, BEP Rupiah, BEP Units, R/C Ratio and PBP. Furthermore, an analysis of the supporting and inhibiting factors of the business as well as an analysis of the marketing strategy in the catfish rearing business was carried out. The results of the calculation of the business feasibility simulation show that the production cost is Rp. 14,181,228, the revenue is Rp. 24.12 million, a profit of Rp. 9,938,772, Rupiah BEP of Rp. 3,655,160 which means the turning point will be reached if sales reach Rp. 3,655,160, BEP Unit of 185 kg, which means the turning point will be reached if milkfish production reaches 185 kg. R/C Ratio is 1.7 and PBP is 1.65 or 2 cycles where the investment capital for catfish rearing business will return within 6-7 months or 2 cycles. Analisis Usaha Perikanan Tangkap dengan Alat Tangkap Dogol di Kelurahan Samboja Kuala Kecamatan Samboja Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara

The purpose of the study was to analyze the level of profit and feasibility of a capture fishery business using dogol fishing gear in Samboja Kuala Village, Samboja District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The research was carried out from January 2021 to October 2022 in Samboja Kuala Village, Samboja District, Kutai Regency, Kutai Kartanegara. Samples were taken of as many as 30 fishermen who use dogol fishing gear with reference to the census method. The results showed that the level of income in the capture fisheries business with dogol fishing gear in Samboja Kuala Village, Samboja District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency on average was Rp. 7,253,528/month. Then the results of the feasibility analysis of capture fisheries business with dogol fishing gear show that the RCR value is 1.39, the BEP production for each shrimp is 177 kg dogol shrimp, 96 kg spotted shrimp, and 60 kg flower/exported shrimp. dogol shrimp Rp.8,235, spotted shrimp Rp.52,152, and flower/exported shrimp Rp.41,173, and BEP Sales Rp.134,357,903, the payback period value or the ability of the business to return investment costs is 7 years, so the catch fishery business is using dogol fishing gear in Samboja Kuala Village, Samboja District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency is feasible to run.

Financial Analysis of Green Detergent as A Water-Friendly Solution In Indonesia

The most crucial global issue discussed at the Fourth Intergovernmental Review Meeting on the Implementation of the Global Program of Action for the Protection of the Marine Environment from Bali Land Based Activities (IGR-4) in 2018 is the danger of detergent. Up to 45% of Indonesia’s rivers are in the category of being heavily polluted by detergent. Furthermore, Enzymatic Eco Detergent is a new, renewable, and innovative biodegradable product made from vegetable surfactants based on palm oil (MES). It is also enriched with organic enzymes produced by simple biotechnology from processing organic waste, such as fruits and vegetable peels, based on garbage enzyme/eco-enzyme. And it also has excellent potential to be developed on a micro business scale (Start-up). As a new product, conducting a business feasibility analysis is necessary to reduce the risk of failure or loss. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the feasibility of the Eco Detergent factory start-up business with a capacity of 12,000 liters per year based on a financial analysis involving the Payback Period, Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, and Return on Investment. The data obtained were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2013 software. The result showed that the payback period (PP) is three years (2 years and 3 months) faster than the project age of 5 years, hence the Green detergent start-up project, "Enzymatic Eco Detergent," is feasible to be implemented. Meanwhile, the Net Present Value (NPV) criteria have a positive IDR of 1,117,448,350.97. The Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and the Return on Investment (ROI) obtained are 57.57% and 54%, respectively. Conclusively, the investment is considered profitable with a return rate of 10.37%, hence, it is feasible to be implemented.

SISTEM INFORMASI PENJUALAN SOUND KAROKE MENGGUNAKAN PENGAPLIKASIAN BAHASA JAVA

The city of Semarang has a fairly large business opportunity to sell avino sound karaoke. To see business opportunities selling avino sound karaoke, it is necessary to do a business feasibility analysis. Business feasibility analysis is reviewed from market, technical, human resource management, legal, and financial aspects. Audio sound sales business is declared feasible based on 5 aspects. Based on the financial aspect analysis, the payback period is 4 years and 7 months, the NPV is Rp. 4,997,087,407 and the IRR value of 40.77% is greater than the MARR of 11.77% for the capacity to sell hundreds of units of various types of products. Based on the sensitivity analysis results, the sales of avino sound karaoke is still feasible if there is no decrease in the number of requests and selling prices of more than 19.17%, and an increase in investment of more than 29.5%.

Economic Sustainability and Fishery Business Development of Small Scale Lift Net Raft in Namar Village, Southeast Maluku District, Maluku Province

The lift net raft fisheries business is a production activity carried out by small fishermen for economic purposes, but the sustainability and development of this business are strongly influenced by economic, internal, and external factors. The research was conducted from January 2022 to July 2022 in Ohoi Namar, Southeast Maluku District. The purpose of this research is to determine the feasibility of a fishery business and the right business development strategy. Primary and secondary data were collected using a survey method, with interviews, questionnaires, and observation, and the data was analyzed by business feasibility analysis and SWOT. The results of the study show that the lift net raft fisheries business is feasible to continue because it has an NPV value of Rp. 548,200,783, IRR = 102%, Net B/C = 5.0, and PP = 2.0. The business development strategy consists of the SO strategy which includes increasing fleet capacity, improving the quality of cath, and optimizing secondary cath when season transitions 1 and 2. The WO strategy is to improve lighting technology, expand marketing networks, optimize information technology to expand market access, and improve the quality of education for ABK owners and fishermen. ST's strategy includes implementing environmentally friendly fishing technology and health protocols in every aspect of the business. Potensi Budidaya Pepaya Mojosongo (MJ 9) Sebagai Komoditas Unggulan Daerah di Kabupaten Boyolali

Papaya Mojosongo (MJ 9) is one of the main fruit commodities in Boyolali Regency. This research aimed to analyze the potential of Mojosongo (MJ 9) papaya as a superior commodity in Boyolali Regency. To this end, this study applied a descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods by using a case study. In this reseacrh, 25 key informants were involved in in-depth interviews and FGDs. The analytical methods used were 1) Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, 2) Business Feasibility Analysis and 3) descriptive analysis of papaya agribusiness potential from various aspects. The results showed that the potential for developing Mojosongo papaya (MJ 9) agribusiness is quite significant and it is feasible to be developed as a leading commodity in Boyolali Regency. This is due to several reasons. 1) the LQ values of papaya agribusiness in 2019 and 2020 were 5,83 and 4,03. An LQ value of more than 1 indicates that the commodity is a regional superior commodity. 2) The results of the R/C ratio analysis were 1,79; with NPV value of Rp 5,706,633 and IRR value of 145,39% per year. An interest rate higher than 20% per year indicates that MJ9 papaya agribusiness is efficient and profitable. 3) The potential for the development of Papaya Mojosongo Agribusiness (MJ 9) is significantly promising because it absorbs a lot of labor and contributes to the economy. This business is also a basic economic sector, a sustainable and renewable business that does not conflict with social and cultural norms. Moreover, this agribusiness has a high absorption capacity due to its large market. The results of this research can serve as a reference for policy making strategies in developing MJ 9 papaya agribusiness in Boyolali today and and in the future.

Technical and Financial Study of Capture Business Mantis Shrimp (Harpiosquilla raphidea) Using Base Nets Driven in Kepenghuluan Sinaboi Sinaboi District Rokan Hilir Regency Riau Province

This research was conducted in September 2019 in Sinoboi Waters, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. This study aims to analyze the technical and financial aspects of catching mantis shrimp (Harpiosquilla raphidea) in drift bottom fishing gear. The method used is survey method and case study. The fishing fleet used is 1 ship with a weight of 3 GT, which has a 27 HP propulsion engine. The results of the technical analysis, the main catch of the bottom drift net fishing gear is mantis shrimp using bait and obtained an upper hanging ratio of 0.55; hanging ratio down by 0.45 and shortening by 55%. The results of the calculation of business feasibility analysis show the total investment value of the fishing business is Rp.46,622,000 with a BCR value of 1.2, an FRR value of 39.53%, and a PPC value of 2.5 which means the time required by fishermen to The payback period is 2 years 5 months. ANALISIS KELAYAKAN UNIT USAHA PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH PADA BUMDESA "SIDO MAKMUR", DESA - KECAMATAN GETASAN, KABUPATEN SEMARANG

Based on Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning the Village, villages can form a business entity to improve the welfare of their people. The Village Owned Enterprise (BUM Desa) Sido Makmur in Getasan Village, Semarang Regency, has some business units, including the Waste Management Business Unit. This unit has two stages of activities: Phase I is Waste Collection, and Phase II is Waste Segregation which includes converting the waste into goods with economic value. The Phase I program has been running since 2020 in one of the hamlets, and Phase II will soon be implemented. However, the BUM Desa Sido Makmur has never conducted a feasibility study on this business unit. A feasibility study can help BUM Desa understand whether a business can be continued or not and provide input for future business development. This article analysis the feasibility of the Waste Management Business Unit at BUM Desa Sido Makmur in terms of Legal, Market and Marketing, Human Resource Management, Technical and Technology, Environment, and Financial Aspects. Primary and secondary data in qualitative and quantitative data were analyzed using business feasibility analysis. The study results show that the Waste Management Business Unit in BUM Desa Sido Makmur is feasible. However, for this business unit to develop further, Phase II of waste management, namely converting waste into goods with economic value, must be done immediately by training village communities. In addition, it is necessary to expand business units' operations, not only in one hamlet but also in other hamlets.

Analisis kelayakan usaha tani Kopi Arabika di Kabupaten Simalungun

This study aims to determine the feasibility of farming and analyze the sensitivity of Arabica coffee farming to the increase in costs and the decrease in the selling price of Arabica coffee in Simalungun Regency. The population of this study were Arabica coffee farmers, the number of respondents in this study was 60 people. The method used in the feasibility analysis is to calculate the R/C ratio, Return on Investment (ROI), NPV, IRR, Net B/C, and PP. Meanwhile, analyzing the sensitivity of farming is carried out using the method of increasing costs and decreasing the selling price of Arabica coffee in Simalungun Regency. Based on the feasibility analysis of the farming business carried out, Arabica coffee farming is categorized as still feasible to cultivate. Meanwhile, Arabica coffee farming is more sensitive to the decline in the selling price of Arabica coffee by 10% and 20%, respectively. The feasibility analysis and sensitivity analysis are one of the things that encourage people to continue cultivating Arabica coffee because based on the feasibility analysis and sensitivity analysis, Arabica coffee is suitable for cultivation.

Business Analysis Fumigation of Pangan Catfish with salai method in Kampar Regency, Riau

Pangan Catfish is one of the native fish of Indonesian waters. The majority of catfish in Indonesia comes from aquaculture. Pangan Catfish production in 2020 in Kampar Regency reached 32.402.126 tons. Pangan catfish is impossible to be sold in fresh form because there is no market that can accommodate large amounts of fresh fish. The absence of business management in the center of the salai processing requires an analysis of the salai fish processing business. This needs to be done to see the feasibility of the salai fish processing business, especially after being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted at the pangan catfish Processing Center in Koto Masjid Village, XIII Koto Kampar District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Business feasibility analysis used is Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), B/C Ratio and Payback Period. The businesses that were used as research samples were 8 business units. The amount of fumigasion business income reaches Rp. 17,469,000,000/year with costs that reach Rp. 16,290,804,375/ year. The average profit of fumigasion pangan catfish using the salai method in Kampar Regency is Rp. 1,178,195,625,-/ year or Rp. 98,182,987,-/month. Analysis of the business of fumigasion pangan catfis with the salai method in Kampar Regency has an NPV value of Rp. 5,543,328,918,-, the IRR value is 63%, the IRR value is 1.08 and the Payback period value is 3.27. The business of fumigasion pangan catfis said to be feasible with a return of capital in the medium category.

Business Analysis of Investment Feasibility and Risk Mitigation of the “Best Gas” Cooking Stove Business (Case Study of PT Bestindo Jaya Indonesia)

This research was aimed to determine the financial feasibility of the Best Gas cooking stove business and analyze the company’s risk mitigation methods in its business. The methods included financial feasibility analysis and risk assessment analysis. The results showed that PT Bestindo Jaya Indonesia’s finances were feasible with an NPV value of Rp.6,404.249,760, IRR value of 31%, and a payback period of 3.43 years. Based on risk management analysis, the company’s risks were internal and external risks, namely production and distributors. PT Bestindo Jaya Indonesia’s risk mitigation analysis took six stages, namely risk identification, risk assessment, risk evaluation, communication and consulting, recording and reporting, and determination of risk cost. PT Bestindo Jaya Indonesia’s mitigation actions reduced the level of risk impact from high to medium levels and from medium to low levels. HONEY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY BASED ON BUSINESS FEASIBILITY AND ROLE OF LAKITAN FOREST MANAGEMENT UNIT IN MUSI RAWAS DISTRICT SOUTH SUMATERA PROVINCE

The objectives of this study were (1) to analyze the role and interests of the KPH Lakitan Musi Rawas Regency in the development of honey business, (2) to analyze the financial feasibility of forest honey management in KPH Lakitan Musi Rawas Regency and to ( 3) to analyze strategies for developing forest honey in KPH Lakitan Musi Rawas District based on financial feasibility and the results of mapping the roles and interests of KPH Lakitan. The sample in this study consisted of 20 of which 3 of them were expert samples from internal KPH Lakitan and 17 of them were forest honey hunters. This paper concludes that based on mapping the roles and interests of KPH Lakitan are dominant in quadrant B, which means that the contribution of facilities and involvement of stakeholders as well as contribution of human resources and linkages between programs from the planning stage to the monitoring stage has been implemented properly. Meanwhile, the result of financial feasibility analysis of the forest honey management business is feasible to continue because, the NPV results were positive > 0, that means the investment will get net benefits. After that, from the result of the SWOT analysis of KPH Lakitan forest honey management, the strategy that can be formed is SO strategy formulation namely by utilizing government support in expanding the marketing network and developing honey bee cultivation technology.
 

Model Usahatani Integrasi Tanaman Sereh Wangi Menjadi Minyak Atsiri dan Ternak Sapi di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir

This study aims to identify the farming model and calculate the Financial Feasibility of the integration of Citronella and cattle in the Ogan Ilir Regency. The location determination was carried out purposively because in this district there is a community business of Citronella Oil Refining combined with cattle business (plant - livestock integration) in Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The research method is a case study, the first objective is identified and then described in a diagram and descriptive manner. the second objective is analyzed mathematically by calculating the BC/RC Ratio, Payback Period, NPV, and IRR. The Integration Model of Citronella Plants and cattle is an integrated farming model, a business model that is interrelated with each other, where the waste from the Citronella plant can be utilized, as well as cow dung. Based on the financial feasibility analysis, the Gross B/C value produced is 2.07 and the Net B/C is also 2.30. The resulting Payback Period value is 4 years, BEP (kilogram) is 503.69 kg and BEP (Rupiah) is Rp. 125,923,822, while based on the feasibility analysis of cattle business in Ogan Ilir Regency, the Gross B/C value obtained is 1, 44, and Net B/C of 1.44. The resulting Payback Period value is 2.2 years, BEP (unit) is 33 heads and BEP (Rupiah) is 294,160,182, - So it can be concluded that fragrant lemongrass farming and cattle farming are financially feasible.Keywords: Feasibility, Financial, Integration, Lemongrass, Model.

ANALISIS PENGEMBANGAN DAN KELAYAKAN USAHA OBAT TRADISIONAL JAMU MASYARAKAT KABUPATEN KULONPROGO

On the economic side, the herbal medicine industry has contributed greatly to national income, increasing people’s welfare and providing employment opportunities. Approximately 99% of herbal ingredients are domestic products and are considered capable of bringing a significant multiplier effect in economic growth in Indonesia, starting from the upstream sector (agriculture) to the downstream sector which includes industry and trade. However, along with the incessant variety of medicines (pharmaceuticals and imported herbal medicines) that are circulating and appear to be attractive to the public, it is not impossible that the demand for herbal medicines as traditional medicines in the last five years has tended to decline. Considering that herbal medicine is a product of the nation’s cultural heritage and has contributed greatly to the creation of domestic workers, the herbal medicine industry, which incidentally is a small and medium industry, must continue to exist amid increasingly fierce competition. Kulonprogo Regency has quite a number of diverse herbal and traditional medicinal plants businesses, most of which are classified as UMKM.. In general, the business diversity is divided into four types of businesses, namely, (1). Liquid herbal medicine business; (2). Herbal medicine business; (3). Herbal dipping business; and (4). Business of herbal tablets/capsules. In order to survive, they need to find some business strategy development to remain viable and profitable. Based on these problems, it is necessary to research the Feasibility and Development Analysis of the Traditional Herbal Medicine Business of the Kulonprogo Regency, with the aim of finding several development strategies and business feasibility. The sample was randomly selected as many as 30 traditional herbal medicine business actors in Kulonprogo Regency. Through the results of the SWOT analysis, there are several business strategies, including (1). Increasing the scale of production and business scale, (2). Following the development of market trends, (3). Marketing innovation and market expansion. (4). Development of licensing legality (certification), such as the legality of an official distribution permit, and being under the guidance of the health office/BPOM. Meanwhile, based on the business feasibility analysis using the Payback Periode (PP) and Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C) method, the liquid herbal medicine business, the brewed herbal medicine business, the dipping herbal medicine business, and the herbal tablet business, capsules are feasible

Economic Feasibility Analysis, Value Added and Marketing of Semi Refined Carrageenan (SRC) Seaweed Processing Industry

Dried seaweed produced by the community in three districts (Morowali, Parigi, and Bangkep) is the final product at the level of seaweed cultivators. They do not yet know about processing seaweed into SRC or gelatin. The research was conducted in Central Sulawesi Province by taking data on the 3 largest seaweed producing districts, namely Banggai Islands Regency, Morowali Regency and Parimo Regency. The main objective of this research is to formulate a strategic plan for the management of seaweed agribusiness through SRC agroindustry and to make it community-based in Central Sulawesi Province. The specific objectives include: Estimating land potential and seaweed production in Bangkep, Morowali, and Parimo Districts, Analyzing the land suitability of locations that are centers of seaweed cultivation in Bangkep, Morowali, and Parimo Districts, Analyzing the economic feasibility of SRC agro-industry and To be medium-scale, to develop a strategy for managing seaweed agribusiness through SRC agro-industry and agar in Central Sulawesi Province, and to empower communities through mentoring in SRC processing training and for the community, especially seaweed cultivators in Bangkep Regency, Morowali Regency and Parimo Regency. The need for primary data on water quality, potential and seaweed production is carried out by survey method by taking samples directly in the field by purposive sampling, namely sampling with certain considerations, sampling only at the cultivation location and simple random sampling, namely taking sample members. from the population randomly without regard to strata and is considered homogeneous in the population. The business feasibility analysis data, seaweed processing technology, and socio-economic data were carried out by direct interviews with structured questionnaires.

Dried seaweed produced by the community in three districts (Morowali, Parigi, and Bangkep) is the final product at the level of seaweed cultivators. They do not yet know about processing seaweed into SRC or gelatin.
