Evaluation of Community-Based Clean Water Distribution Movement in An Urban Village

Abstract This research was conducted to provide an evaluation study of the PAMSIMAS program that focuses on evaluating community participation in the community-based clean water supply movement in RW 03 Banyumanik Urban Village, Banyumanik Sub-district, Semarang City. This study aims to analyze the forms of community participation in supporting the PAMSIMAS program and to determine the factors that influence community participation in the implementation of the PAMSIMAS program. The results show that the community has played an active role in the PAMSIMAS program through the formation of organizational management and the construction of PAMSIMAS facilities. However, while managing the organization, some shortcomings still affect customer trust. To overcome these problems, the management of the PAMSIMAS SPAM TIRTO REJO Banyumanik organization needs to improve services to customers through good and effective communication so that it can support the running of the PAMSIMAS program.

Study of community participation in community-based clean water distribution movement in Semarang City

Abstract This study evaluates the involvement of residents in the community-driven clean water distribution initiative in RW 07 Srondol Wetan Urban Village, Banyumanik Sub-district, Semarang City. The study aims to determine the level of resident participation in the clean water distribution program, evaluate the program’s effectiveness, and identify factors influencing community engagement. The research methodology encompasses questionnaire surveys, in-depth interviews, and participatory observation. The results show that community participation in the program has not been very high, due to the creation of the new PAMSIMAS program in 2022. The program is considered effective in improving access to clean water and the quality of life in the community. Factors influencing participation include awareness of the importance of clean water, strong local leadership, and support from government and non-government organizations. This research concludes that resident participation is pivotal for the success of community-based clean water delivery programs and recommends bolstering community capacity and fostering ongoing collaboration among various stakeholders.

Pelatihan Penggunaan dan Perawatan Mesin Pencuci Telur Asin Bagi UKM ‘Mak Ngat’ dipasar Rasamala Perumahan Srondol Wetan Kecamatan Bayumanik Kota Semarang

Semarang State Polytechnic as a tertiary institution implementing the Tri Darma of Higher Education through the 2023 Competitive Community Service program sees several problems faced by UMKM partners, where the service partner who collaborates with us is Mang Ngat UMKM, one of whose businesses is engaged in making salted eggs, where One of the problems faced is that there is no egg washing machine that replaces manual washing of salted eggs, but this problem can be resolved with the provision or donation of a salted egg washing machine in the first stage. The next problem faced by Mang Ngat UMKM service activity partners is that they require knowledge of the machine operation process according to procedures so that the operation is safer for the operator and the machine. Apart from that, Mang Ngat UMKM also need knowledge of the maintenance process for the salted egg washing machine so that the machine can last longer. long. With these problems, in the follow-up activities of Community Service to Mang Ngat UMKM after the provision or grant of egg washing machines, follow-up activities were carried out, namely by carrying out training on the operation and maintenance of salted egg washing machines at Mang Ngat UMKM in the Rasamala market, Srondol Wetan housing complex, Banyumanik sub-district, Semarang city, with After carrying out training on the operation and maintenance of salted egg washing machines, it is hoped that the salted egg washing machines can be operated safely by Mang Ngat UMKM and maintenance can be carried out properly so that the salted egg washing machines can increase their service life.

THE INFLUENCE OF URBANIZATION TO THE WATER INFILTRATION ZONE ON BANYUMANIK SUB-DISTRICT, SEMARANG CITY, CENTRAL JAVA, INDONESIA

The high growth of developed land in the Banyumanik Sub-District, especially in residential and commercial areas, occurred due to the high demand for housing, lifestyle fulfillment, and speculation and investment by the upper-middle-class society. The reduction or loss of land with vegetation cover in the Banyumanik Sub-District increases the potential for flooding due to more significant surface runoff than water absorption during heavy rainfall. This research used integrated spatial analysis to generate information on the critical level of water infiltration in the research area using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Both primary and secondary data collected will be compiled and subjected to spatial analysis to address the issues at hand. The weight of each parameter class produced by the AHP method is used for modeling and includes infiltration rate, land use, slope, and lithology parameters. The criticality level of the water infiltration zone in the southern part of Banyumanik Sub-District indicates that the water infiltration condition in the research area consists of good class at 13.589%, naturally normal at 18.405%, started to be critical at 16.114%, slightly critical at 20.764%, critical at 18.286%, and very critical at 12.841%. Changes in land use in the research area have become the primary factors causing alterations in the water infiltration conditions. Infiltration wells are one of the solutions to mitigate runoff as part of sustainable rainwater management. The government plays a crucial role as a policymaker in making decisions to address issues related to urban area development towards sustainable development.

Distribution of Active Urban Parks in Semarang City by Utilizing GIS

Active Urban Parks are part of public green open spaces that play a role for a city, especially for the citizens. Because this active urban park can be a place for people to socialize. This study aims to identify the distribution of active urban parks located in the city of Semarang, which is depicted on the map of urban park distribution. The approach used is qualitative inductive strategy. The method used is a spatial descriptive method using GIS. Based on the results of the analysis, in general the distribution of active urban parks in Semarang City was not evenly distributed. This can be seen from 16 Subdistrict in the City of Semarang, almost all subdistricts have, the distribution of active urban parks that have not yet reached the entire area in each of these subdistricts. From the 16 subdistricts, there are only 3 subdistrict that have a fairly even distribution of active urban parks, i.a. Semarang Timur subdistrict, Semarang Utara subdistrict and Banyumanik subdistrict. These findings will be able to provide information related to the location of active urban parks in Semarang City and their distribution, which is presented in the form of a distribution map so that it becomes more interesting and communicative.

EDUKASI PENCATATAN KEUANGAN SIMPAN PINJAM PKK KELURAHAN NGESREP KECAMATAN BANYUMANIK SEMARANG

<p>The problems faced by the PKK savings and loan business in the Ngesrep sub-district, Banyumanik sub-district, Semarang city are that recording has not been carried out properly according to generally accepted principles and how to present the financial statements of the savings and loan units that are simple and more informative. This educational activity is carried out in the form of counseling and training on recording financial transactions of the savings and loan unit and consultative/assistance assistance. This community service program was attended by 25 managers of savings and loan units in the Ngesrep sub-district, Banyumanik sub-district. The results show that the savings and loan unit of the PKK has begun to apply the usual accounting principles by fixing the bookkeeping of the savings and loan unit so that it does not only meet internal information needs. The recording system is carried out through a simple account to facilitate monitoring and reporting.</p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>: Transaction recording, consultative assistance, financial reports</p>

Effectiveness of Sembako Program Management for Poor Beneficiary Families (KPM) (Case Study in Banyumanik District of Semarang City)

This research aims to describe and analyze the effectiveness of Sembako program management in improving the welfare of KPM in Banyumanik District of Semarang City. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Informants in this study include: Social Companion of Bansos Pangan Banyumanik Subdistrict, e-Warong Administrator, Banyumanik Subdistrict Social Welfare Kasie and Family Beneficiaries of Sembako program. The conclusion of the study that all stages of the program aspects of management (planning, organizing, commanding, controlling and coordinating), there are weaknesses such as taking KKS mustinya KPM but often represented by the village, there is a KKS that is no longer active, e-warung owners sell higher prices. From the aspect of effectiveness (punctuality, goal accuracy and the accuracy of the program's objectives) have not been effective, it still occurs for example too many are involved, especially in the aspect of edication and socialization, taking KKS must be KPM but often represented by the village,. The existence of KPM that is no longer active, higher prices in e-warung burden the target program. Recommendation: Sembako program for poor beneficiaries (KPM) greatly helps the poor to improve welfare by improving weaknesses from management aspects and effectiveness. It is necessary to develop a sembako program model that is simple, understandable and can be implemented by poor people target programs.

Pemetaan Daerah Rawan Longsor di Kecamatan Banyumanik, Kota Semarang

The research was done in Banyumanik Sub-district, Semarang City, Central Java Province. The purposes of the research were to know terrain unit and landslide suceptibility in the research area. Unit of analysis in this research was terrain unit which obtained from overlay between landform, geology, slope, and soil maps. The overlay result is 147 terrain units in the research area. Sampling technique use stratified random sampling to select sample based strata. 19 samples are selected from 147 terrain units. Method of collecting data use survey method to obtain primary data and documentation method to obtain secondary data. Technique of data analysis use wight method for 6 parameters. The parameters are land use, soil tecture, rock layering structure, rainfall, soil permeability and slope. Research results show that landslide susceptibility in the research area was classified in 5 susceptibility classes i.e. very low class cover area of 0,6 km2 (0,19%), low class cover area of 7,24 km2 (23,59%), moderate class cover area of 7,16 km2 (23,33%), high class cover area of 12,35 km2 (40,24%), and very high class cover area of 3,88 km2 (12,64%).

HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT DENGAN UPAYA PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 DI KELURAHAN SRONDOL WETAN, SEMARANG

A case of pneumonia with no known cause was found in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China in December 2019. Until finally, the samples studied showed the etiology of the new coronavirus named Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19). This virus can be transmitted from human to human and has spread widely in China and more than 190 countries and including Indonesia. Data from the Health Office show that in the Srondol Wetan sub-district, Semarang City has the highest positive cases of COVID-19 in the Banyumanik sub-district, with 11 confirmed positive cases. This study aims to identify the relationship between public knowledge and perceptions with efforts to prevent COVID-19 in the Srondol Wetan Village, Semarang. This type of research is analytical research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were the people of Srondol Wetan village with a sample of 120 people who were taken by purposive sampling technique. Collecting research data using a questionnaire via Google form, then analyzed using the Spearman statistical test. The results of analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between the knowledge variable and the efforts to prevent COVID-19 with p-value = 0.000. Then there is a significant relationship between perceptions and efforts to prevent COVID-19, p-value = 0.045 in Srondol Wetan Village, Semarang. The conclusion of the study is that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and perception and efforts to prevent COVID-19.

PENERAPAN STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELLING (SEM) UNTUK MENGANALISIS FAKTOR – FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KINERJA BISNIS (STUDI KASUS KAFE DI KECAMATAN TEMBALANG DAN KECAMATAN BANYUMANIK PADA JANUARI 2019)

This research is done to examine the effect of quality of service and product attractiveness toward business strategies based on service in order to improving business performance. The sample of this study were Cafe owners in Tembalang Subdistrict and Banyumanik Subdistrict, total are 116 respondents. In this Final Project, the processing of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is AMOS software. The results of the analysis show that service quality has a positive effect on business strategies based on service to improving business performance. The most significant factor that affecting business performance is quality of service. Quality of service is important in the performance of a café business. Cafe owners must always pay attention to the quality of café service to customers, because the quality of service is the main consideration for customers to visit cafes.

Pemodelan Tarikan Perjalanan Kawasan Perdagangan Jasa Skala Kecil di Jalan Sukun Raya Banyumanik

Banyumanik sub-district grows and develops caused by increases in population. Jalan Sukun Raya is a road commonly used by residents in Srondol Wetan Village to Jalan Setiabudi and vice versa. Sukun Raya Road Corridor is one of the local roads in Banyumanik Subdistrict. The land use in this corridor is a commercial and service area, and settlement. Land use in the road corridor is a commercial and service area. Based on these problems, it is necessary to do trip attraction modeling. In this case, the trip attraction is needed in considering the impact of existing development, such as in the sub-center of the commercial and services area, housing, and offices. The aims of this article to develop the trip attraction model.Trip attraction modeling uses multiple linear regression analysis with the stepwise method on the commercial and service area and small scale on Jalan Sukun Raya, Banyumanik Subdistrict which is a sub-service area of the city of Semarang. Correlation and multiple linear regression analysis done based on data obtained from survey results. Data collection on Jalan Sukun Raya at peak times was carried out with field observations and interviews with established resource persons.The results showed that the sales income variable became the most influential variable on the trip attraction shown in the equation Y = 0.352 + 4.998E-7 X4. The resulting model is useful for estimating trip attraction in small-scale commercial and service areas.

Street Vendors’ Activity Space in the Residential, Public Space (Case Study: Tirto Agung Park, Semarang)

Public space as a facility that accommodating community social activities has become one of the important aspects in terms of enhancing people’s lives in the scope of residential and settlements, which include active parks. Tirto Agung Park, as an active park located close to the residential area in Banyumanik Sub-District, Semarang City, becomes a place visited by many people to accommodate recreational, entertainment, and sports activities purposes. Therefore, Tirto Agung Park became a location/space/place for street vendors to grow and develop their activities. Street vendors often use existing public spaces such as inside the park, roadsides, and sidewalks for their activities. This condition often makes a spatial utilization conflict between street vendors and the main activities in Tirto Agung Park. Hence, it is important to identify the street vendors’ activity space in Tirto Agung Park as a public space for a residential community in Banyumanik Sub-District. The purpose of this research is to identify the livability of street vendors’ space based on their behavior in its location. This research uses quantitative methods by conducting surveys through questionnaires by applying disproportionate stratified random sampling techniques. The results of this study explain the space availability of street vendors’ activities in Tirto Agung Park, including the types of street vendors’ activities, types of activities around street vendors, space forms, activity time, access, natural elements, space security, and parking space.

Analysis of Backward Methods for Determining Trip Attraction Model on Commercial and Service Area in Sukun Raya Road, Banyumanik, Semarang.

One strategy for sustainable development planning is to minimize future problems. To minimize future problems modelling is needed to predict future conditions based on current characteristics. Commercial areas located in the Sukun Raya Road Corridor, Banyumanik Subdistrict are small-scale trade and trade areas in the central government area. Development of trade and small-scale areas must be supported by the existence of a trip attraction model that can be used to predict future trips in the region. The aim of this article is to develop trip attraction model. The model is multiple linear regression analysis. Multiple linear regression analysis using the backward method shows that there is a relationship between the Y variable which consists of the total visitor's attraction (pcu/hour) with the independent variable X2 (store area), X3 (store parking area), and X4 (sales income) . The relationship between the dependent variable Y with the independent variables X2, X3, and X4 is very influential with the value R2 0.820 with the resulting equation model Y = -1.504 + 0.021 X2 - 0.085 X3 + 9.847E-7 X4.This model can be used to estimate and anticipate trip attraction in small-scale commercial and services areas based on store area plans, large parking areas, and sales income. This model can be used as a consideration in planning and structuring commercial areas small scale to anticipate transportation problems because they contribute to the flow of traffic in Sukun Corridor.

Object Oriented Land Use Change Modelling Of Residential Areas (Case Study : Banyumanik Sub-District, Semarang City)

Land Use change marked by the shift of land usage to another. Banyumanik Sub-district is an administrative areas in southern part of Semarang City with higher elevation compared to City Center. The increase of tidal flood caused changes the land use of Banyumanik to residential. In this study we try to model the land use change of Banyumanik using Land Use and Land Cover Changes (LULCC) Packages in R. Using land use of 2011, 2013, and 2016 as input, elevation, slope, and distance to road as parameters, and population data for growth analysis. This study consists of firstly, study area extraction from input and rasterization. Secondly change probability model creation and comparation of population changes to residential changes, Lastly, obtaining actual change and the probability models in the form of maps and charts that describes the land use change in the future as probability model. The land use change to residential does not cope the population growth, and resulting a higher population density. We also found a temporal pattern of residential occurance over residential probability, where occurance slightly decreases as the probability rises, but jumps for the highest probability. Between 2011 and 2013, from area of 0.126km2to 0.165km2. And between 2013 to 2016, it also shift from 0.177km2 to 0.286km2. It can be concluded that a general increment also took place to the existing pattern.

Motivasi Masyarakat dalam Pemanfaatan Internet untuk Pengelolaan Sampah di Kecamatan Banyumanik Kota Semarang

Motivation in waste management is one of the driving factors for realizing Smart Waste Management (SWM). The motivation is aimed at being able to change people's behavior in waste management from gathering to waste to reducing and handling the community that can be done through technology assistance in its management system known as the Internet of Things (IoT). Data were collected from 200 respondents who had been served garbage facilities and had used the internet in Banyumanik District using a 1-7 Likert scale. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), this study examines the factors that influence people's motivation in using the internet for waste management. Based on the socio-demographic, economic and solid waste systems in Banyumanik Subdistrict, the researchers found that knowledge of the internet and recycling factors were the most important factors that influenced people's motivation with a correlation coefficient of 1.02. Another influential factor is the condition of the waste facility itself with a correlation coefficient of 0.74. Thus, this study recommends that the government to promote IoT for waste management such as the existence of educational applications about solid waste before continuing on improving the quality of waste facilities equipped with smart components such as sensors, GPS, and others.

Sikap Jamaah Masjid Terhadap Tradisi Puji-Pujian Sebelum Sholat Studi Kasus Jamaah Masjid di Desa Giling dan Kelurahan Sumurboto

Puji-pujian is the recitation of solawat, dhikr and prayer coupled with Javanese sair-sair sung to await the arrival of praying in congregation at mosque or langgar. This paper discusses the waning of the tradition of praise in society. The research was conducted in Desa Giling, Sub-district Pabelan, Semarang Regency and Kelurahan Sumurboto, Banyumanik Sub-District, Semarang City. The existence of this tradition began to fade due to the entry and development of movements that seek to purify Islam. The party that supports this tradition is from NU culture. They consider this practice good because it has a basis, and has many benefits da'wah. Who refuses to regard praise as an unclear practice of guidance and potentially disturbing the congregation of other worshipers.

Pengaruh pemberian asi eksklusif dan non eksklusif terhadap mental emosional anak usia 3-4 tahun

Background: Breastmilk is the best food contains all the elements of required nutrients for infant aged 0-6 months, and the attachment of the breastfeeding process give better of growth and mental emotional development of the infant. Less attachment between mother and infant caused mental emotional disorders, that affect to the next period of child’s development..Objective : The objective of this research was to analyze the differences of influence of exclusive breastfeeding and non exclusive brestfeeding history on child’s emotional mental age of 3-4 years as well as analyze the most dominant variables. Method: This was an observational analitic research with cross sectional approach. The subjects consisted of 84 children aged 3-4 years, living Banyumanik subdistrict Semarang, taken by purposive sampling and grouped into exclusive and non-exclusive breastfeeding. The data was collected by questionnaire, and the analysis using chi square and logistic regression.Result: The study showed that most of children with exclusively breastfed had good mental emotional (76.2%), while children who did not get exclusively breastfed had a mental emotional problem (64.3%). There were relations between breastfeeding (p=0,001), mother’s knowledge (p=0,001), mother’s attitude (p=0,001), and mother’s education level (p=0,029) to children’s mental emotional. Education level of mother was the most influence variable for child’s emotional mental after addjusted with mother’s knowledge, mother’s attitude, mother’s education level, and birth weight of children.Conclusion: Breastfeeding history, mother’s knowledge, mother’s attitude, and mother’s education level were factors that influencing to children’s mental emotional

MODEL SPASIAL STATISTIK KEPEMILIKAN SEPEDA MOTOR DI KECAMATAN BANYUMANIK, KOTA SEMARANG

Semarang is a fast forward and fast growing city viewed from its economic growth. However, the increased population along by increased activity gives a new difficulty, that is congestion. The existence of urbanization encourages people tend to prefer a suburban area to the center of the city. With the growing movement of transportation activity, it has pushed the level of ownership of private vehicles, especially motorcycles in the suburbs. Banyumanik Sub-district as a suburb of the Semarang City is functioned as settlements development direction. Banyumanik Sub-district is the highest number of motorcycle ownership in Semarang sub urban with the amount of 20.428 units. For understanding the motorcycle ownership concentration, it is required the study of distribution and spatial aspects, so that it can be seen spreading evenly or not. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive and spatial modeling approach named Spatial Statistics Analysis using GIS (Geographic Information System). According to the research results, it is revealed that the movement system of the motorcycle user community in Banyumanik Sub-district reaches until 37% toward the center of the city, 58% Banyumanik stir around the area, and a 5% move toward Semarang regency. As a results of the analysis of spatial patterns, it is showed that the distribution of the motorcycles ownership forms a cluster pattern with a high concentration level (High Cluster). The highest concentrations of motorcycle ownership exist in the surrounding of Banyumanik Sub-district, while the lowest ownership concentration is in the region such as the Bukitsari Residence, and Graha Estetika Residence
