Critical thinking: An analytical study on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) usage on students at Al Washliyah Darussalam University, Banda Aceh

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a technology that can mimic human thinking and learning processes through algorithms and computer systems. AI brings significant changes to the education sector by providing various conveniences. On the other hand, the use of AI technology requires adjustments in the learning process at higher education institutions. This research aims to analyze the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) usage on the critical thinking skills of students at Al Washliyah Darussalam University (UNADA) Banda Aceh. This study employs a Mixed Methods approach, utilizing quantitative methods with a descriptive approach to analyze the frequency of AI usage, while qualitative methods are used to analyze changes in thinking patterns and students' analytical abilities in the learning process. Data collection was conducted through surveys. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, involving 287 students who use AI in their learning. The research findings indicate that the distribution of questionnaire data shows that the usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) includes 31.3% (ChatGPT), 6.3% (Perplexity), 12.5% (Gemini), and 5% using other AI technologies. The impact of AI usage reveals that AI can enhance students' critical thinking skills, particularly in data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making. However, negative impacts faced by students include dependency on technology and a lack of active engagement in classroom discussions. The results and findings of this study highlight the importance for university lecturers and policymakers to design effective learning strategies that utilize AI to develop critical thinking skills among students.

Pelatihan Pembuatan Ekoenzim dari Limbah Organik Rumah Tangga di Gampong Kopelma Darussalam, Banda Aceh

Ecoenzyme is the result of fermentation of organic kitchen waste such as fruit and vegetable pulp, sugar and water. Ecoenzyme acts as various purposes such as pesticide and disinfectant. Therefore, we conducted community service activities aimed at providing a training in making ecoenzymes from household organic waste. Ecoenzyme-making training was given to the Family Welfare Development Group (PKK) in Gampong Kopelma Darussalam, Banda Aceh. The participants were lectured about ecoenzyme and its benefits and followed by discussion. It was then followed by a practical session on ecoenzymen-making activity. From this activity, the PKK group in Gampong Kopelma Darussalam, Banda Aceh, gained knowledge about a method to manage household organic waste become useful products. Furthermore, these skills can also be a source of additional income for local residents. During the training, the service team brought ready-made ecoenzymes and plants so they could provide examples of how to apply ecoenzymes to plants. The ecoenzyme and plants were given as souvenirs to the training participants.

Governance Analysis in Driving Smart City Policy in Aceh

This study wants to analyze the implementation of smart city which is a concept of city development based on technology. The smart city concept consists of several aspects including smart governance, smart society, smart living, smart economy, smart environment, and smart branding. Aceh is one of the Indonesian provinces that initiated the smart city concept for the development of each regency/city. The research aims to analyze governance in encouraging smart city policies in Aceh. This research method uses a mixed method approach, which is a combination of quantitative approaches used to see facts that occur based on government system data that has been carried out; and qualitative method in building a narrative on the Aceh governance system based on smart city indicators which is on target or not. The results of this study show that there are several regencies/cities in Aceh that have implemented smart city-based governance. One of which is Banda Aceh City. This study recommends that the Government of Aceh should further socialize smart city-based governance so that the government of each regency/city in Aceh implements smart city governance to actualize a prosperous, harmonious, and simpler bureaucratic society.

Analisis Pengaruh Mutu Pelayanan IGD Terhadap Kepuasan Pasien Di RUMKIT TK II Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh

It can be said that patient satisfaction is an abstract thing and the results vary greatly because basically it really depends on each individual's perception. Patient satisfaction can be said to be fulfilled if the services provided are in accordance with their expectations. The aim of the research is to analyze the Quality of Emergency Room Services on Patient Satisfaction at RUMKIT TK II Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh. The research design used in this research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional design. The population in this study was all 2,058 emergency room patients. The number of samples to be studied is 95 people. Data analysis was carried out using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The statistical tests used are the chi square test and logistic regression. The results of the chi square test research show that there is an influence of 5 variables, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and physical evidence, which have a p-value <α 0.05, meaning that reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and physical evidence influence patient satisfaction in the RUMKIT TK ER. II Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh and the multivariate test shows that the 5 variables of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and physical evidence influence the results of the multiple logistic regression test showing that the responsiveness variable is the most dominant with an odds ratio (OR) of 15,104, meaning 15 times influencing patient satisfaction. The conclusion was that the dominant responsiveness variable had the most influence on patient satisfaction at the RUMKIT TK II Iskandar Muda Banda Aceh emergency room. It is recommended for hospitals to adopt policies to increase patient responsiveness in the ER in order to produce optimal patient satisfaction.
 
 

THE EVALUATION BLACK SPOT LOCATION AND ACCIDENT RISK OF COT PAYA INTERSECTION ACEH BESAR DISTRICT

As the population continues to increase each year, it leads to an increasing demand for transportation, indirectly raising the risk of traffic issues. Simpang Cot Paya, situated on the Laksamana Malayahati road section in the Baitussalam District of Aceh Besar Regency, serves as a secondary arterial road that connects the regency to the city of Banda Aceh and is consistently congested with traffic. According to the Traffic Division of the Banda Aceh City Police from 2018 to 2022, there were 233 reported traffic accidents in this area. This research aims to identify the factors causing these accidents and propose measures to reduce the accident rate at this accident-prone location. Primary data was gathered through field observations and measurements, while secondary data consisted of accident records provided by the Banda Aceh City Police, which were analyzed using the Accident Equivalent Number (AEK) method, Upper Control Limit (BKA), and the Safety Index (SI) method. Additionally, a road safety audit was conducted at the accident-prone location to identify issues that may contribute to traffic accidents and to suggest measures to reduce the risk of accidents. An overall analysis indicates that the highest accident vulnerability occurred in 2018 with the highest AEK value of 126, the highest BKA reaching 2.36, and an SI of 2.36. However, the highest material losses were recorded in 2020, amounting to Rp. 26,600,000. This increase in losses was due to a rise in the number of accidents in 2020, totaling 27, and a higher number of minor injuries, amounting to 29 individuals. In other words, if a location has a Safety Index (SI) greater than 1, it is considered a black spot for accidents. The audit revealed several issues, including fading road markings and a lack of road signs and other road infrastructure. Proposed solutions to address these issues include repainting faded road markings and adding road signs and necessary road infrastructure to improve road functionality.

Pembuatan Pelet Ikan Bergizi Tinggi untuk Peternak Ikan di Kampung Lampaya dan Weuraya Kecamatan Lhoknga Aceh Besar

The service was carried out in Weuraya Village and Lampaya Village, Lhoknga District, Aceh Besar Regency with the target of fish farmer business groups. At first, the need for fish in Lhoknga and its surroundings only relied on fishing at sea by fishermen. Over time, the need for fish and employment for the community here eventually led to fish farming. Seeing the potential of fish farming that is getting better in this area, a group of people in this area took the initiative to form a fish farming business group located in Lampaya and Weuraya Villages, Lhoknga District, Aceh Besar. These two villages are located not far from the center of the Banda Aceh city market, estimated at about 25 km from the location of the farm which can be reached for approximately 1 hour drive. Determining the composition of fish feed ingredients is an important issue because not all compositions will provide the best results for fish growth. The high price of fish feed in the market with low protein content causes fish farmers to experience difficulties in cultivating fish. The objectives of this activity are first, to concoct their own animal feed from tofu dregs, snails or rice snails, wheat flour, rice bran, and coconut meal which are very widely available around Lhoknga. The second training was for the Lampaya and Weuraya fish farmer groups in Lhoknga sub-district to make fish feed. All members of the Lampaya and Weuraya fish farmer groups are involved in the two scopes of work above, so that these two groups will have the knowledge and skills to make quality and healthy fish feed for fish. From the results of the monitoring of the service team, it is clear that the high enthusiasm of the community can be measured by the crowd of socialization and training participants, as well as the many questions that arise during the practice of making fish pellets. At the end of the activity, the community has mastered how to make their own fish feed and can save 60% of the total cost

ANALYSIS OF DETERMINANTS OF HEALTHY BEHAVIOR OF POST-TROKE PATIENTS IN THE CITY OF BANDA ACEH

Stroke sufferers have a high risk of experiencing recurrent strokes, but many stroke sufferers do not change their lifestyle behavior to be healthier, such as consuming foods high in fat and salt, lack of physical activity, not avoiding cigarette smoke, not getting enough sleep and not controlling stress. This quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design aims to determine the factors related to the healthy behavior of post-stroke sufferers in Banda Aceh City. Sampling was carried out by incidental sampling of 95 post-stroke sufferers who sought outpatient treatment at the Neurology Polyclinic and Medical Rehabilitation Polyclinic at Meuraxa General Hospital, Banda Aceh City. Data collection was obtained through interviews conducted from February 16 to March 10 2023. Data analysis used the logistic regression test. The research results show that as many as 60% of post-stroke sufferers have unhealthy behavior. This unhealthy behavior of post-stroke sufferers is associated with middle smoking status (OR=84.70; 95%CI=2.19-3282.15; p=0.017), low education (OR=7646.98; 95%CI=39, 32-1487138.0; p=0.001), secondary education (OR=248.91; 95%CI= 2.67-23225.21; p=0.017). Low education level is the most dominant factor related to unhealthy behavior, so it is hoped that health workers will provide education about unhealthy behavior and its consequences for poststroke sufferers and carry out regular monitoring and motivate patients to achieve their goals for recovery.

Analysis of Managerial Competence of School Principals in Improving the Performance of Elementary School Teachers in Banda Aceh City


 
 
 Management ability is an ability that must be possessed by the principal in using school administrative management activities, including planning ability, organizational ability, implementation ability, and evaluation ability. The research aims to explore the managerial head in improving teacher performance. This research uses a type of qualitative research using descriptive. The instruments in the study are questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data collection techniques use interview methods or interviews to parties who directly have relationships or interested parties in this study. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, data collection in the research is carried out through interview guidelines. The subjects of the study were principals, supervisors and teachers at elementary schools under the Bungong Jeumpa Cluster of Banda Aceh City. The results of the study found that the school management process, it is seen that the quality of education in elementary schools has improved, and the principal has demonstrated various effective leadership qualities, including strong personality, decision-making ability and excellent communication skills, wholehearted dedication. etc. Acting as a school leader; encourage teachers to consistently carry out their duties and functions in accordance with the subjects they teach; implement leadership models that support the achievement of school goals.
 
 

The Difference between Bilingual Acehnese-Indonesian and Monolingual Indonesian Students’ Learning Behavior in EFL

This study was conducted in qualitative research aimed to discover the difference in learning behavior between bilingual Acehnese-Indonesian and monolingual Indonesian in EFL. The data of this study was obtained from the 7th grade at SMP Teuku Nyak Arif Fatih Bilingual School, Banda Aceh. The participants were five bilingual and five monolingual students. The data were collected through observation and interviews. The observation data was students’ learning behavior during English class and was analyzed in descriptive statistics (percentages). The interview data included transcripts of supporting information about the reason for the learning behavior displayed in the English classes. The interviews were recorded, transcribed, and analyzed following Miles Huberman’s interactive model analysis. Furthermore, the results of this study showed that bilingual students showed less negative behavior in terms of competence motivation, attitude toward learning, and strategy/flexibility than monolingual students, but they were found to show the same amount of attention and persistence of negative issues along with monolingual students. Meanwhile, interview findings revealed that reason from both bilingual and monolingual students displayed those issues were mostly affected by internal factors and several external factors

AKUNTABILITAS DESA MAJU

This research aims to determine the influence of the role of village officials, the internal control system, the organizational commitment of the village government, and the use of the village financial system in Kutaraja District, Banda Aceh City. This type of research is quantitative research. The data used in this research is primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires to village officials in Kutaraja District, Banda Aceh City. The population in this study were all villages in Kutaraja District. Respondents in this study totaled 78 people. The sampling technique uses a census sample.The data in this study are from villages in Kuta Raja District, Banda Aceh because in Kutaraja District, only 33.3% of villages have IDM status as Independent Villages, the rest are still Developed Villages. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 25 application. The results of this research show that the role of village officials, the internal control system, the organizational commitment of the village government, and the use of Siskeudes simultaneously influence the accountability of village fund management. The results of this research also show that the role of village officials, the internal control system, and the use of Siskeudes have a positive effect on the accountability of village fund management, while the organizational commitment of the village government does not affect the accountability of village fund management in Kutaraja District, Banda Aceh City.

Rasionalitas Masyarakat Berbelanja Secara Konvensional di Era E-Commerce

The existence of E-Commerce does not make people the main market for shopping. There are some major shopping problems with the E-Commerce system. This article aims to describe the rationality of people preferring conventional shopping over E-Commerce. This article is the result of field research carried out in Banda Aceh City. Research approach using qualitative methods. The research subjects are 10 informants, and data acquisition is produced through in-depth interviews and observations with conventional buyers selected through purposive techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study are: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that there are several forms of rationality why people do not shop in e-commerce, namely: products received do not match orders, high risk of buying electronic products in E-Commerce, delayed delivery of ordered goods, avoiding online fraud, and promotions that are bound to e-commerce. Therefore, the advantage that conventional markets have becomes the capital for their existence during the e-commerce market.

Prevalence and risk factors of oral potentially malignant disorders in Indonesia: a cross-sectional study undertaken in 5 provinces

Detection of subjects with oral potentially malignant disorders in a population is key to early detection of oral cancer (OC) with consequent reduction of cancer-related morbidity and mortality. Our aim was to investigate the prevalence and associated risk factors for OPMD in representative provinces of Indonesia. This cross-sectional study was undertaken in five Indonesian provinces: West Java (WJ), Jakarta (JKT), West Papua (WP), West Kalimantan (WK) and Banda Aceh (BA). Respondents answered a previously validated questionnaire including information on ethnicity, occupation, socioeconomic status (SES), oral health practices, and behaviours associated with oral cancer. An oral examination was undertaken using WHO standardized methodology. Data were analysed using ANOVA, Chi-Square, and logistic regression to assess association between risk factors and mucosal disease. A total of 973 respondents between the ages of 17 and 82 years was enrolled (WJ 35.5%,JKT 13.3% WP 18.3%, WK 9%, BA 23.9%). Tobacco smoking (14.8%), Betel quid (BQ) chewing (12.6%) and alcohol drinking (4%) varied geographically. A well-established OPMD was detected in 137 (14.1%) respondents and 2 (0.2%) presented with chronic ulceration later diagnosed as OC. Leukoplakia was the most common OPMD found (9.7%), while the prevalence of oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF), not previously described in the nation, was 2.3%. Poor knowledge of OC risk factors, poor oral hygiene behaviours, low-income SES and ethnicity were significantly associated with the presence of an OPMD. There is a previously under-reported high prevalence of OPMD in Indonesia. Overall, we found a strong correlation between the presence of an OPMD and individual habituation to known risk factors.

Evaluasi Kenyamanan Termal Masjid Baitul Musyahadah Kota Banda Aceh

Many mosques in the city of Banda Aceh have used artificial ventilation systems to achieve thermal comfort conditions in the interior of the mosque. Meanwhile, the Baitul Musyahadah Mosque, which is classified as a large mosque in Banda Aceh City, currently still maintains an open mosque building design and utilizes a natural ventilation system. In this community service activity, field research was carried out with the aim of evaluating thermal comfort in the interior of the Baitul Musyahadah Mosque. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach by collecting data through field observations and measurements, according to variables that influence thermal comfort including air temperature, air humidity and wind speed. The results obtained regarding the thermal comfort conditions of the space in the Baitul Musyahadah Mosque are (a) the average value of the effective temperature in the building falls within the limits of a warm comfortable sensation; (b) the average value of air humidity in the building is within comfortable limits; (c) the wind speed value in the room is very weak. Furthermore, based on the results of the analysis and simulation of thermal comfort in the mosque, improvements to the opening aspects which influence increasing wind speed in the mosque are recommended to support passive thermal comfort.

Hemostatic and liver function parameters as COVID-19 severity markers.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), is a disease newly discovered in December 2019 which affects coagulation cascade and liver functions. The aim of this study was to investigate the potential of hemostatic and liver function parameters as severity markers in COVID-19 patients. This study was an observational analytic with cohort retrospective design using total sampling method. Data were retrieved from medical record of COVID-19 patients admitted to provincial hospital in Banda Aceh, Indonesia from March 2020 to March 2022. There were 1208 data eligible for the study after applying certain criteria. Mann-Whitney, logistic regression, and receiving operating characteristic (ROC) analyses were used to analysis the data. Thrombocyte count (p<0.001), prothrombin time (p<0.001), activated partial thromboplastin time (p<0.001), D-dimer (p<0.001), fibrinogen (p<0.001), aspartate aminotransferase (p<0.001), and alanine transaminase (p<0.001) significantly increased in severe compared to mild COVID-19 patients. After being adjusted, age (odds ratio (OR); 1.026 (95% confidence interval (CI): 1.016-1.037) was the most significant factor in predicting COVID-19 severity. Fibrinogen (cut-off 526.5 mg/L) was the best parameter associated with COVID-19 severity with 70% sensitivity and 66.4% specificity. Meanwhile, D-dimer (cut-off 805 ng/mL) had a sensitivity of 72.3% and specificity of 66.4%. Combining the parameters resulted in improved sensitivity to 82.0% with a slight decline of specificity to 65.5%. In conclusion, fibrinogen and D-dimer level on admission could be used as biomarkers in predicting COVID-19 prognosis. Routine monitoring and evaluation of laboratory testing especially D-dimer and fibrinogen could be implemented in order to reduce morbidity and mortality rate of COVID-19.

The Impact of Learning Models for Explicit Instruction on Student Learning Outcomes in Vocational High School 2 Banda Aceh

The Explicit Instruction learning model is a learning model that positions the teacher as a facilitator and organizer in the learning process. This research aims to see the effect of the explicit instruction learning model in improving student learning outcomes in the Basic Passive Electronic Components subject. This research uses a quantitative type method with an experimental approach (one group pretest-posttest design) using pre-test and post-test question sheet instruments. The research subjects consisted of 25 students of class X Electronics Engineering at SMKN 2 Banda Aceh. The research results showed that the application of the explicit instruction learning model had an effect on the learning outcomes of students at SMK N 2 Banda Aceh as evidenced by the post-test results which increased by 44 points. This shows a positive change in student learning outcomes. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the explicit instruction learning model has an effect and can improve student learning outcomes at SMK N 2 Banda Aceh.

Antioxidant of the putat air (barringtonia racemosa) as a herbal remedy to improve sperm quality due to cigarette smoke in rats

Background The objective of this study is to analyse the antioxidant in putat air (barringtonia racemosa) as an herbal to improve sperm quality due to cigarette smoke. Methods An experimental study was conducted at animal laboratory, Faculty Veteriner University of Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This study were analyed by one-way ANOVA. A total of 30 male rats (Rattus norvegicus) were divided into 5 treatment groups. Group 1 as a negative control (N) were not exposed to cigarette smoke. Group 2 as a positive control (P) were exposed to cigarette smoke. Group 3 as treatment 1 (P1) were exposed to cigarette smoke and 100 mg/kg BW/day of the barringtonia racemosa seed extract. Group 4 as treatment 2 (P2) were exposed to cigarette smoke and given 150mg/kg BW/day of the barringtonia racemosa seed extract. Group 5 as treatment 3 (P3) were exposed to cigarette smoke and given 200 mg/kg BW/day of the barringtonia racemosa seed extract. The cigarette smoke exposure was carried out in a smoking chamber for a total of 1 hour/rat, and the barringtonia racemosa seed extract is given orally once a day for 30 days. Results This study shows that the sperm quality improved after administration of barringtonia racemosa seed extract in the treatment group (P1-3) compared with the positive control group (P) with statistically significant (p &lt;0.05). Further analysis with the Duncan test showed that administration of barringtonia racemosa seed extract at a dose of 150 mg/kgBW/day (P2) had a statistically significant improvement in sperm quality (P &lt;0.05) compared with a dose of 100 mg/kg/day (P1) and 200 mg/kgBW/day (P3) Conclusions Antioxidants from barringtonia racemosa can improve sperm quality due to cigarette smoke.

Vocational High School 5 Telkom Banda Aceh's Occupational Safety and Health Module Design

In educational institutions, occupational safety and health are significant issues. Students and institutions may suffer losses as a result of accidents and issues with occupational health. Thus, it's critical that pupils have comprehensive understanding of K3. SMK Negeri 5 Telkom Banda Aceh observations revealed a deficiency in instructional resources for K3 instruction. Therefore, the goal of the research is to use the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) in conjunction with the Research and Development (R&amp;D) technique to design an Occupational Safety and Health Module. Student response questionnaires, validation questionnaires from media experts, and material experts were used in the data collection process. According to the research findings, 92.5% of material experts and 77.5% of media experts believe that the K3 module is adequate from a media standpoint. Student responses also attain a score of 92.4%, suggesting that the K3 module is appropriate for use in education. In summary, the K3 module has emerged as a highly successful educational tool for maximizing students' engagement with K3.

Investigating the Effect of E-Commerce, Capital and Labour on the Income of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Banda Aceh City, Indonesia

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia are increasingly growing and innovating along with the development of information technology. Aceh, especially Banda Aceh City, is one of Indonesia's regions where MSMEs experience annual growth. Thus, the objectives of this study were to analyze the influence of e-commerce, capital, and labour on MSME income in Banda Aceh City with quantitative research. The population of this study comprised business units registered with the Ministry of Cooperative and SMEs of Banda Aceh City, with 100 business units selected as the research sample. The sampling technique employed was cluster sampling. Data collection utilized a questionnaire, and the specific analysis technique applied was the multiple linear regression test. The study found that e-commerce, capital, and labour positively and significantly influence MSME income in Banda Aceh City. These findings suggest that policymakers should promote e-commerce adoption among MSMEs through training and infrastructure support, enhance access to capital through tailored financial schemes, and invest in labour skills development via vocational training and industry partnerships. By combining these measures, Banda Aceh City can bolster the growth and sustainability of its MSME sector, fostering increased income generation and economic development.

Faktor Penghambat Penggunaan Tracer Pada Unit Penyimpanan Berkas Rekam Medis Pasien Rawat Jalan di Rumah Sakit

Medical record tracers are a replacement for medical records that will be removed from storage for any purpose, usually made of strong and colored material. Factors that cause delays in the use of tracers in storage rooms include the lack of staff with educational backgrounds in medical records, the absence of special officers in the storage department and the non-implementation of SOPs regarding the use of tracers. The aim of this research is to determine the factors inhibiting the use of tracers in the outpatient medical record storage unit at Bhayangkara Hospital Banda Aceh in 2023. This research was conducted in the outpatient storage room at Bhayangkara Hospital Banda Aceh, 15-20 May 2023. This type of research is Descriptive Qualitative. The population of this study consisted of 9 medical records officers. The research sample consisted of 3 people specifically for outpatient medical records officers using Purposive Sampling Technique. The results of the research show that in the use of tracers in the outpatient medical record file storage unit, the human resource factor is in the "insufficient" category, the facilities and infrastructure factor is in the "incomplete" category, the cost factor is in the "not available" category, the equipment and machine factor is in the "not available" category. available” and the raw material factor is in the “incomplete” category. Meanwhile, the factors inhibiting the use of Tracer in storing outpatient medical record files are in the "existing" category. It is recommended to add tracer printing equipment in the form of a printer in the storage room, adding officers who have medical records degrees so that they can carry out outpatient storage properly.

Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) for investigating subsurface structures in the karst area of the Ek Leuntie Cave, Aceh Province

Ek Leuntie Cave, in the southern city of Banda Aceh, Aceh Province, is recognized as an educational media based on geopark sites because it holds a 7400-year paleotsunami track record. As a karst area, Ek Leuntie Cave is vulnerable to the impact of geological disasters such as earthquakes, sinkholes and subsidence. As an effort to reduce the negative impact of geological disasters, geophysical studies have been applied in the Ek Leuntie Cave Karst area. The study aims to identify the subsurface geological structure of the Karst area. The identification was carried out using the Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) method of Wenner-Schlumberger configuration applied to two measurement trajectories that have South-North and West-East directions in front of the Ek Leuntie Cave door. ERT data acquisition results were then modeled in inversion using Res2Dinv software to produce a 2D model of the subsurface geological structure of the Ek Leuntie Cave karst area based on variations in rock resistivity values. Interpretation of subsurface geological structure modeling is validated with shallow drilling data (Hand Auger). The inversion modeling results show that the rock resistivity value in the Ek Leuntie Cave area reaches a depth of 30 m which has a resistivity value of 0 - 1000 Ωm. The results of the interpretation of resistivity values and validation of drill data show that the Ek Leuntie Cave area is covered by a layer of sand with fine to coarse texture and the layer below is a layer of limestone at a depth of ± 0.4 meters with a resistivity value of 50 - 250 Ωm. Limestone generally shows porosity with the possibility of caves or pores in the rock formation at Ek Leuntie Cave, making it vulnerable to damage from earthquakes, landslides, and subsidence. The results of the study are expected to provide updated information in efforts to develop the Ek Leuntie Cave geopark area.
