Spiritual and Creative Nature of the Human Being: Interdisciplinary Analysis

The analysis of the spiritual and creative nature of a person in the context of an interdisciplinary approach has made it possible to reach conclusions about the paradigm of the integrity of modern science, which, in the context of the theory of knowledge, is realized in the context of «truth as the unity of opposites». A conclusion is made about creative activity as a process of building the wholistic entities, which is aimed at achieving a state of non-duality in the form of a collision of polar things and bringing them to a common functional «denominator» as a neutral-indeterminate entity. Under such conditions, a creative person is characterized by the ability to paradoxical thinking, opennes to uncertainty, paradox, and absurdity. The functional aspect of the hemispheres of the human brain and its interdisciplinary extrapolations are considered, the neuropsychological and spiritual aspects of creativity are analyzed, which enables to clarify the nature of the soul and the spiritual aspects of a person, to draw a conclusion about the godlikeness of a creative person. Psychological-pedagogical and psychotherapeutic methods of human harmonization and the development of the ability to resist manipulation are outlined, among which the methods of paradoxical intention, openness to the world, role-based activity, and controlled madness are analyzed. It is concluded that the spiritual and creative nature of a person reveals a neutral-zero state regarding the integration of the «right» and «left» functions of a person, which at the neuropsychological level is realized in the functions of the right and left hemispheres of the brain. A universal human harmonization algorithm is formulated, which outlines the methods of achieving the specified state on various psychophysiological and spiritual-mental «floors» of a person. In this neutral state, which balances opposite modes, a person is open to opposites, has access to both emotions and the operations of logic, and is in a state of absolute health.

The effect of nature on creativity through mental imagery.

Immersion in nature has been linked to wide-ranging benefits on mental health and cognitive functions, from reducing stress to enhancing creativity. However, a walk in nature is not always feasible, and whether a proxy for nature immersion via a mental walk in nature can elicit the same benefits as a physical walk remains largely unknown. Accordingly, the current study utilized guided imagery to examine whether a mental walk in nature would improve creativity in general and when compared to a mental walk in an urban environment. We implemented a within-subjects design, wherein participants completed both mental walk conditions (in a nature and urban environment) at least five days apart in counterbalanced order on an online platform. During each session, participants (N = 97) completed two pre-walk tasks assessing convergent (measured by the Remote Associates Test) and divergent creative thinking (measured by the Alternate Uses Test), followed by a mental walk in either a nature or urban environment, then finally the identical two post-walk creativity tasks. After five days, they repeated the same procedure with a mental walk in the other environment. While comparisons of post-walk creativity scores between the nature and urban environment did not significantly differ from each other, the comparisons between the pre- and post-walk creativity scores revealed a significant improvement in convergent creative thinking in the nature environment condition, but not the urban environment condition. Our results suggest that taking a mental walk in nature can enhance at least one aspect of creativity, therefore providing preliminary evidence for the potential to access the creative benefits of mentally immersing ourselves in nature. These findings have important implications for those who wish to enjoy the benefits of nature but are unable to readily access nature physically.

Leveraging Smart Home Training Kits as an Innovative Educational Tool to Foster Higher-Order Thinking Skills

This study aims to establish the impact of employing Smart Home Training Kits as a new approach to developing Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in vocational education. Using a quasi-experimental design, the study involved two groups of vocational students: supporting them by an experimental group applying Smart Home Training Kits and a control group using conventional methods of instruction. Standard pre-tests and post-tests were administered among the students to evaluate the enhancement in the level of higher-order thinking skills, for aspects of critical thinking, problem-solving solving, and creativity. The findings also showed a work improvement in the experimental group compared to the group control group. The experimental group of students who were trained using the Smart Home Training Kits performed better when it came to the analysis, evaluation, and Synthesis of possible solutions regarding smart homes. Also, a number of the activity kits characterized the technical thing being taught in a detailed way that allowed the students to gain a more realistic understanding of the principles at work. The findings of this paper suggest that Smart Home Training Kits are one of the ways through which Higher-Order Thinking Skills can be effectively taught within the technical education training regime while closing the gap between theory and practical. This indicates that the assimilation of these kits in curricula could help the effective development of critical thinking and innovation at the expense of students to face the current world workplace challenges.

Validation of the I- and D-type epistemic curiosity scale among young Chinese children and implications on early curiosity nurture

Curiosity, an innate and intrinsic motivation to explore, makes vital contributions to learning in individuals of various ages. Epistemic curiosity centers on the drive to close information gaps and can be classified into joyous exploration and interest (I) and deprivation sensitivity (D) types. Each subtype is associated with different academic achievements, personality traits, emotions, and aspects of creativity. Building on the concept of epistemic curiosity in adults, the I- and D-type Epistemic Curiosity in Young Children (I/D-YC) scale was developed. The purpose of the present study was to validate the Chinese I/D-YC scale for preschoolers. Both exploratory factor analyses of data from 111 parents (Sample 1) and confirmatory factor analyses of data from 389 parents (Sample 2) indicated that the Chinese I/D-YC replicated the two-factor structure of the original scale. The scales’ convergent validity was examined with data from 189 parents (Sample 3) and 129 teachers (Sample 4), as its reliability and test–retest reliability was respectively examined with data from 389 to 82 parents (from sample 2). The results established the Chinese I/D-YC scale as a valid and reliable measure of epistemic curious behaviors in young Chinese children. Moreover, the cultivation of epistemic curiosity should weaken inhibition and this might enhance well-being and creativity and learning.

Problems of Development of Artificial Intelligence, its Errors and Hallucinations. Psychoinformational (Socionical) and Quantum Methods of their Elimination.

The causes of errors and hallucinations of artificial intelligence models are analyzed. The work of artificial intelligence is compared with the structure of the psyche, which is well described by the socionic model of information metabolism by Augustinavichyute–Bukalov. This model has been successfully used in the analysis of the work of the psyche for over 40 years. It is shown that modern AI models lack an independent block for monitoring the implementation of established rules and assessing the importance of the information being processed. It is also necessary to rank the processed data according to specified criteria. It is shown that the most pressing problem of AI - the emergence of hallucinations - is due to an increase in semantic entropy in closed probabilistic models. This problem is fundamentally unsolvable without changing the principles of construction and operation of AI. In addition, AI models lack a number of structures, including aspects of true creativity, which are an integral part of the real psyche and socionic models. In the context of the creation of quantum computers, the quantum aspects of creating a new type of AI are also considered, by analogy with the work of the psyche. Such computers must have a fundamentally different architecture, compared to existing ones, and consist of a whole system of specialized quantum processors.

“Fever Sisters” in the artistic interpretation of Konstantin Balmont (based on the poems “The Spell of Twelve Girls” (1906) and “Thirteen Sisters” (1906))

The relevance of the topic is determined by the growing interest in studying the interaction between literature and folklore, as well as the importance of analyzing transformations of traditional folk motifs in the works of Russian poets of the 20th century. The image of fevers in Slavic mythology represents one of the most enigmatic phenomena of folk culture, making it an attractive subject for research. The work of Konstantin Balmont, known for his unique interpretations of folk motifs, allows us to uncover new aspects of this theme. The novelty of the study lies in the analysis of a little-studied aspect of Balmont's creativity – his appeal to the image of fevers in the poems “Spell from Twelve Maidens” and “Thirteen Sisters”. The work aims to identify the specifics of adapting folk motifs in the poet's works, as well as to determine the role of these images in shaping his artistic world. The purpose of the research is to analyze the features of the transformation of the traditional image of fevers in the Balmont's work and to reveal the mechanisms of his interaction with folk beliefs. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks: to study the historical and cultural contexts in which ideas about fevers were formed; to consider the role of folk records by I. P. Sakharov and A. N. Afanasyev in Balmont's work; to conduct a comparative analysis of the two specified poems in terms of their use of folk motifs; to determine the extent of influence of folk incantations on the poet's work. The study was conducted using the method of comprehensive text analysis, including historical-cultural, comparative, and structural-semantic approaches. Materials from the works of renowned folklorists such as I. P. Sakharov, A. N. Afanasyev, T. A. Agapkina, A. L. Toporkov, M. I. Maslova, etc., were utilized. Special attention was paid to the analysis of the structure and content of Balmont's poems, as well as the identification of characteristic traits of his individual style. The main conclusions are as follows: Balmont deeply delved into the essence of folk beliefs and skillfully adapted traditional motifs to his creative world while preserving their original essence. He created original interpretations of folk images, giving them new life and actualizing them within the context of his contemporary era. The image of fevers in his poetry acquires symbolic significance, reflecting deep processes of human interaction with higher forces and one's own culture. Prospects for further research are associated with an in-depth analysis of the interrelationships between literature and folklore in Russian culture of the 20th century, focusing on the work of Balmont. It is also necessary to continue working on identifying the mechanisms of transformation of folk motifs in the works of other representatives of Russian literature, which will allow creating a more complete picture of the interaction between literature and folklore in the history of national culture.

Linguistic creativity of the modern gift marketing (based on alcoholic products)

This article describes linguistic creativity in modern gift marketing. The study analyzes the verbal design of alcoholic products’ packaging, which contains creative texts aimed at the mass consumer – a modern linguistic personality, for whom non-standard language solutions have acquired particular value. The author connects the change in the linguistic design of product packaging with the development of mass linguistic creativity, which extends to various types of discourse, including the gift discourse analyzed by the author. The article proves that the creativity of texts on gift alcoholic products is achieved by various linguistic means: violation of language norms, non-standard linguistic combinations, the use of language games that create unpredictability of meanings. Particular attention is paid to the functional aspect of linguistic creativity (attracting consumers’ attention, creating a positive brand image, promoting a product), as well as the axiological component of the analyzed texts. The article concludes that the linguistic design of a product is an effective tool for its promotion, while marketing communication in general and gift marketing communication in particular, reflect the axiological parameters of modern society, for which alcohol products act as an integral attribute of any festive event and/or a desired gift.

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CREATIVITY TECHNIQUES AS KEY FACTORS IN INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT

The article examines both the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of organizational creativity in the context of the modern knowledge economy. The author pays attention to different approaches to studying creativity, analyzing the most influential models and theories applied in an organizational context. This has enabled the creation of a systematic classification of factors that determine the effectiveness of employees' creative activities in modern companies. In particular, both internal and external influences, as well as their interaction within the organization, are considered. The article pays special attention to the study of mixed factors, which combine internal resources and external opportunities to stimulate innovative thinking. The author emphasizes that knowledge and experience in using creativity techniques play a central role in the process of generating new ideas productively and transforming them into real innovations. The proposed classification of factors enables organizations not only to identify the factors they can influence but also to develop adaptive strategies to respond to external challenges beyond their control. This article contains a thorough study of the evolutionary development of creativity techniques.

Physics Learning Innovation: Song and Animation-Based Media as a Learning Solution for Mirrors and Lenses for Junior High School Students

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop and assess the effectiveness of a physics learning media based on songs and animations to enhance motivation and understanding among Grade VIII students on the topics of mirrors and lenses.. Methodology: The study employed a mixed-methods approach, utilizing a procedural development model by Borg and Gall. Tools and software used include Adobe Audition 1.5, Wondershare Filmora, and Adobe Flash CS6. Data collection methods included questionnaires and expert reviews. Main Findings: The song and animation-based learning media received a "Very Valid" rating from content experts (90%) and a "Valid" rating from media experts (70%), with teachers giving an average score of 90%. The t-test results showed a significant increase in students' motivation in the experimental group, with a mean score of 79.50 compared to 68.07 in the control group, indicating the positive impact of the developed media. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces an innovative approach by combining musical and animated elements in physics education, thereby stimulating both the left and right brain hemispheres. This dual-hemisphere engagement fosters a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience, bridging the gap in traditional physics instruction by addressing both logical and creative aspects of student learning.

Exploring the Neurocognitive Aspects of Creativity and Academic Performance: A Review

This paper investigates the neurocognitive aspect of creativity and academic performance, regarding how these two are interlinked and what implications this has for education. In establishing a theoretical framework, one should be enabled to examine the neurocognitive processes underlying creativity and academic performance: brain structures, neural plasticity, emotional and motivational influences, and environmental stimuli. A systematic review methodology brings into its scope investigations on cortical markers, EEG, and cognitive assessments with respect to the objective evaluation of creativity and academic performance. It includes an overview of the major factors in neurocognitive functioning that influence creativity: working memory, cognitive flexibility, and processing speed; the role of dopamine in creative output; and lastly, the relationship between executive functions and creativity. It presents future neurocognitive interventions, such as cognitive training and mindfulness practices, in improving creativity and academic performance. It therefore calls for integrating neurocognitive research into educational frameworks in a way that optimizes individualized education and calls for interdisciplinary research to bring neuroscience, psychology, and education together in the development of evidence-based educational policies and practices. This should lead to a broad-based analysis and help develop an educational system, neuro-cognitively supportive, for the inclusion of individual differences and closing gaps in cognitive and academic achievement.

On Reverse Dracula and Picky Bites – introduction to study of Urban Dictionary

This article provides an introductory examination of Urban Dictionary, focusing on its attributes and distinctive features. In the article the functionalities of the webpage are explored, the structure of entries is analysed and a typology of definitions is proposed. Through detailed analysis of specific examples from the Urban Dictionary lexicon, the dynamics of this user-generated content platform is discussed. The paper highlights the significance of individual and social perspectives of users as well as the aspects of creativity, humour and narratives included in the definitions. The paper aims to contribute to better understanding of the phenomenon of Urban Dictionary in the context of social linguistics.

Dari Paideia Yunani Kuno Ke Merdeka Belajar Indonesia: Sebuah Kajian Komparatif Filsafat Pendidikan

This study conducts a comparative analysis between the concept of Paideia education in Ancient Greek civilization and the idea of Merdeka Belajar promoted by the current Indonesian Government. Paideia, is a holistic education system that aims to form a complete citizen and become a wise human being. Meanwhile, Merdeka Belajar is an education policy that emphasizes the creativity and independence of students. Through a philosophical approach, this research explores the similarities and differences between the two concepts. There are differences in historical and cultural contexts, but both concepts have the same common thread, namely prioritizing character building. However, Merdeka Belajar tends to focus more on aspects of freedom and creativity, while Paideia emphasizes the formation of good citizens. This research provides new insights in understanding the concept of education from a cross-cultural and historical perspective, and provides recommendations for the development of more holistic and meaningful educational practices in Indonesia

The effectiveness of the teaching program “scientific creativity in practice”

This study examines the impact of the Scientific Creativity in Practice program on students’ scientific creativity. This comprehensive teaching program aims to foster general creative skills, domain-specific competencies, and certain personality traits in science education. The program includes a variety of interventions and reflection tools that focus on divergent thinking, problem-solving, bisociation, imagination, and metacognition, which promotes strategies for developing, selecting, and evaluating creative solutions to scientific problems. The study used a two-group, repeated-measures design in Austrian secondary schools, with 26 classes taught using teaching techniques from the program and 12 control classes using traditional teaching methods. The effectiveness of the teaching program was assessed using the Divergent Problem-Solving Ability test, which was administered at the beginning and end of the school year. The results showed that the intervention classes achieved significantly higher scores, indicating improved divergent problem-solving ability.The study also emphasized the importance of intervention fidelity, with the quality of implementation (adherence) having a significantly higher impact on outcomes than the quantity (number of interventions). The results confirm the effectiveness of the Scientific Creativity in Practice program in fostering academic creativity and emphasize the importance of a well-structured teaching program. Future research will focus on measuring the impact of individual techniques of the program on different aspects of scientific creativity.

The Stanislavski System: Rethinking of various aspects of the acting

This paper deals with the overall concept of the Stanislavski system. Stanislavski gives a detailed description of the acting method in his book An Actor Prepares, where he proposes the genuine and creative aspects of approaching characters. The aim of this study is to analyze some elements of his system, such as given circumstances, truth, belief, magic, concentration of attention, objectives and units, adaptation, imagination, relaxation of muscles, emotional memory, and the unbroken line.

THEORETICAL PRINCIPLES OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE FORMATION OF JUNIORS

In the 20th century, logical intelligence was key to science and education, but in the 21st century, when globalization has covered all areas of life, emotional intelligence and its practical and creative aspects have become relevant. The aim of the article is the analysis of the theoretical foundations of the emotional intelligence development of juniors. We have come to the conclusion that the concept of emotional intelligence emphasizes the importance of developing emotional skills in social and professional spheres of life, as well as their impact on personal success and well-being. Emotional intelligence can be improved through training and practice, and it plays an important role in interpersonal relationships, communication and leadership skills. Also, to form the emotional culture of students in modern conditions, as provided for in the Concept of the New Ukrainian School, it is necessary to use effective pedagogical methods and tools. With their help, teachers can contribute to the psychological support of children and help overcome difficult emotional states, both in the team and in each individual. It is significant to create a safe and supportive environment for children where they can feel safe and enjoy childhood life, learning and play again.

Resistance as (Re)creation

The paper analyzes creative aspect of resistance. Inspired by Ernesto Sabato’s book (2013) and Stéphane Hessel’s manifesto, we want to present some remarks on resistance as (re)creation from dialogical perspective, i.e. recreation of dialogical relation with oneself, with nature, with others and with spiritual beings. Firstly, following Sabato, we analyze resistance to vertigo as paramount disconnection caused by chaotic life that disintegrates every dialogical relationship. Secondly, we consider reclaiming time as a form of resistance and we present the slow movement as an act of resistance. Thirdly, we analyze analogies between two oppositions: stimulus vs. challenge and product vs. flower/fruit. Then we briefly refer to Reyes Mate’s project culture of memory as resistance to injustice and oblivion. In conclusions, we point out the role of analogy in dialogue and in resistance in art and protest.

Creative minds like ours? Large Language Models and the creative aspect of language use

Descartes famously constructed a language test to determine the existence of other minds. The test made critical observations about how humans use language that purportedly distinguishes them from animals and machines. These observations were carried into the generative (and later biolinguistic) enterprise under what Chomsky in his Cartesian Linguistics, terms the “creative aspect of language use” (CALU). CALU refers to the stimulus-free, unbounded, yet appropriate use of language—a tripartite depiction whose function in biolinguistics is to highlight a species-specific form of intellectual freedom. This paper argues that CALU provides a set of facts that have significant downstream effects on explanatory theory-construction. These include the internalist orientation of linguistics, the invocation of a competence-performance distinction, and the postulation of a generative language faculty that makes possible—but does not explain—CALU. It contrasts the biolinguistic approach to CALU with the recent wave of enthusiasm for the use of Transformer-based Large Language Models (LLMs) as tools, models, or theories of human language, arguing that such uses neglect these fundamental insights to their detriment. It argues that, in the absence of replication, identification, or accounting of CALU, LLMs do not match the explanatory depth of the biolinguistic framework, thereby limiting their theoretical usefulness.

USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN MATHEMATICS TEACHING

In modern education, there is a growing need for innovative teaching approaches, particularly in the context of using artificial intelligence. The relevance of the issue under consideration lies in exploring the potential of ChatGPT for automating the creation of mathematical problems, which can significantly reduce the workload of teachers. The aim of the research is to assess the potential of ChatGPT in generating high-quality math problems across various topics in the school curriculum. To achieve this goal, methods of theoretical analysis of scientific literature and an empirical experiment were applied, during which ChatGPT was used to create tasks on proportionality, combinatorics, algebra, and geometry. The research results demonstrate that ChatGPT can effectively generate both simple and complex mathematical problems, opening new opportunities for automating teachers' preparatory work. This allows teachers to automate part of the preparation process and focus on more creative aspects of teaching. However, certain limitations are identified, such as the dependence of task quality on the clarity of queries and the presence of errors in complex calculations. Overall, the research emphasizes that artificial intelligence can become a valuable tool for math teachers, but its use requires an understanding of its capabilities and limitations. Further research may include researching the impact of using ChatGPT on the student motivation and academic achievements, developing of methods for assessing the quality of ChatGPT-generated tasks, integrating ChatGPT with other learning tools (e.g. learning management systems), exploring the possibility of using ChatGPT to create more complex mathematical tasks that require a creative approach.

Wonderful and Dangerous Entanglements Between Youth Culture, Contemporary Art and Present Pedagogics

The article aims to describe and discuss how a particular affinity can be identified between contemporary art, trends in children’s and young people’s culture, and present pedagogical approaches found in afterschool clubs, gymnasium and Social Education in a Danish context. Methodologically, inspiration is drawn from self-study research, involving several analytical sessions in which the authors of this article engaged in collaborative analysis of empirical cases chosen from their own practice. The selected cases are discussed through three thematic lenses: creativity, reflection, and time. Theoretically, the article refers to distributed aspects of creativity, the role of craftsmanship, and the apparent acceleration of society. The article concludes that pedagogical methods derived from contemporary art meet young people’s need for participation, inclusion, and influence but also contend with conditions in present society, such as limited time for immersion, a general acceleration of society, academization of our educational institutions, and a general downgrading of manual techniques.
