Обучение профессионально ориентированному искусствоведческому дискурсу на занятиях по русскому языку как иностранном

At the current level of development of the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language for special purposes, insufficient attention is paid to the professionally oriented teaching, which allows modeling imaginary professional situations of communication and forming the skills necessary for real professional communication. The problem is especially noticeable in teaching creative disciplines (including art criticism) where thematic discourse plays an important role. The paper describes an experiment of teaching art history discourse to Uzbek students in the Russian language classes. A model for studying art history discourse was experimentally introduced into practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language at the level of professional communication. The purpose of the study was to develop a technology for teaching art history discourse based on professionally oriented authentic texts in classes of Russian as a foreign language for future specialists in art. The experiment was described in detail with the allocation of experimental and control groups. The experimental group studied the language for professional purposes with the use of the teaching materials developed by the university professors. Most of the tasks of the training package are based on the information from the website of the Belgorod State Art Museum, which updates the educational material and implements the principle of professional orientation of education. The control group followed the traditional program of Russian as a foreign language for future artists. Upon completion of the experimental training, both groups had to do a creative task. Further assessment of the task demonstrated the effectiveness of the use of authentic art history texts and creative tasks in teaching the Russian language for professional purposes to Uzbek students. The study revealed that the students of the experimental group made greater progress compared to the control group in developing such a professional skill as “following art history strategies when creating a text”.

ICONOLOGY: SPECIFICITY AND LIMITS OF THE METHOD AND ITS OPPORTUNITIES IN TEACHING ART HISTORY AT CHILDREN'S ART SCHOOLS

The peculiarities of the iconological method are considered in this article in connection with the topical issues of teaching art history at children's art school. It is impossible to adequately understand painting and graphics of the Middle Ages, Renaissance and the 17th century without iconological interpretations, however, from the point of view of pedagogy difficulties arise associated with the complexity of semantic interpretation, many aspects of which are extremely difficult to be explained to schoolchildren. Competent and dosed application of iconological techniques will enrich students' perception of art works, expand their cultural horizons, and update existing knowledge and skills. The author formulates a comprehensive view on the specificity of iconology, examines the methodological foundations of various interpretations of works of classical Western European art and offers some recommendations regarding the use of iconology in teaching art history at initial stage of art education.

The Influence of Rewards In Increasing Student Learning Interest On Mathematics

Teaching was an art. This task was not only carried out by teachers, but also parents. The art of teaching had a goal so that learning achieved success. One of the arts in teaching was giving awards to students. Teaching success would be achieved if there was a change in student behavior, including moral behavior and academic achievement. This article aims to determine the influence of reward in increasing the learning interest of fifth grade students in Mathematics at MI NU Matholi'ul Huda Bakalan Krapyak Kudus. This research was a quantitative research. The research data used a reward scale and learning interest. Sampling used non-probability sampling technique. Determination of the sample using saturated sampling. The results showed that the correlation coefficient (r) was 0.707 which indicated a strong category. Adjusted R Square value obtained a coefficient of determination of 0.499 or 49.9%. This result implied that rewards affect student learning interest by 49.9%, while the remaining 50.1% was the influence of other variables that had not been studied by researchers. The value of t-count with the value of t table. The calculated t value of the learning strategy variable in the form of giving rewards was 4.994 which was greater than t table (2.060) with a significance value of 0.000, the significance value was less than <0.05. This showed that rewards had a significant effect on students' learning interest. For future researchers, it will be better if it is developed and compared to the importance of giving soft rewards and hard rewards in increasing student achievement.

Teacher perspectives on an arts initiative in schools:‘Filling the pail or lighting the fire?’

Arts organisations partnering with schools have gained increased popularity as a means of delivering arts education. In the main, this has meant artists and companies offering pre-determined workshops. Although these involvements have been found to be useful, a gap in how these initiatives can enhance the teaching of arts education still exists. Therefore, this paper explores primary teachers' perspectives, regarding whether an Irish arts initiative - The Creative Schools Initiative-Scoileanna Íldánacha (CS) - impacted their teaching of arts education. A multi-site case study, this research was conducted in a purposive sample of eight Irish primary schools who had participated in the initiative. Using online surveys, both quantitative and qualitative data was collected from 50 primary teachers. Key findings indicated that, although teachers engaged positively with the initiative, it only had a limited impact on teachers’ confidence regarding teaching arts education. Consequently, strong reiterations for professional development were emphasised throughout. Bearing this in mind, this study could contribute to further development of arts initiatives such as the CS, ensuring they have a lasting, sustainable impact on the teaching of arts education in primary schools.

They remind us of how as engaged scholars, we carefully nurture generosity of thought, relations, and sharing in our work. They take that ethic one step further to show how radical generosity in the classroom rewards us with a well-informed society, and community of educators, activists, and change-makers.

Teaching the First Stories of M. Auezov in a New Way

The article deals with the study of the stories of the talented writer M. Auezov, known not only in our original literature, but in all human literature and culture. The ways of teaching the artistic and ideological features of M. Auezov's first stories at the university are considered. High school offers methods of teaching students through the analysis of the artistic and ideological features of the writer's stories. Along with the literary side, M. Auezov speaks about the importance of fundamental research in the field of literary criticism, and pedagogical work in the field of teaching, psychological and philosophical ideas. In high school , in the first stories of the writer, the types of work with students in solving human problems are considered. The first stories of the writer are considered as a means of teaching art and worldview, raising questions, skills of character development in the university. The author shows ways to engage students in cognitive work, research, conducting thematic-compositional analysis of the conversation, a comprehensive analysis of the characters, mastering the text, literary analysis in the teaching of students in high school. He shows the educational side of teaching students the stories of M. Auezov in higher education, leading students to spiritual purity, improving reading skills. Emphasizes the importance of the writer's stories in the educational process in the modern educational system. The speech goes about the new research of the writer's work and the new perception of the writer's work. Guide future specialists of Kazakh literature to assess the vitality and value of fiction, including the heritage of M. Auezov, which is our national value.

How a Philosophical Approach to Temporal Perception Can Provide a Basis for Developing Useful Strategies for Teaching Art to Students with ADHD

This paper explores research in how students with Attention Deficit HyperactiveDisorder (ADHD) experience temporality. Using a phenomenological lens, the author looks forclues in the writings on temporality by philosopher, Martin Heidegger. Her goal is to establish aphilosophical framework for developing practical approaches to teaching art to secondarystudents that address the difference in temporal perception of students with ADHD in an effort tocreate a more inclusive learning environment.

Critical Sensitivity in Digital Place-Craft to Unsettle Settler Sentiments of Place

This paper summarizes the methods and outcomes of my dissertation inquiry, which examined the potential that critical perspectives on digital placemaking practices may hold for art teaching with digital materials. Within this study, placemaking is the (often, but not always, intentional) shaping of the material qualities of a place. The study described in this paper examined how critical sensitivity to the material qualities of digital places (i.e. the actions and sensations places invite and inhibit) and critical sensitivity to the colonial ideologies digital places often materially enact and habituate, may inform the crafting of arts curricula as places, and inform youth artists’ crafting of digital places. Drawing on theories of digital materialism, curricula as digital places of learning, and critical and anticolonial framings of digital placemaking, the study summarized in this article suggests that habituating critical sensitivity to the material qualities of digital places is a viable approach to addressing ideologically-laden material qualities of the digital. The study also suggests that approaching curriculum development with critical sensitivity as an act of placemaking is a viable and valuable approach to navigating tension between structure and open-endedness in curricular design, and to attending to the ideologically-laden material qualities of curricular places.

ПЕДАГОГІЧНІ УМОВИ НАВЧАННЯ СТАРШОКЛАСНИКІВ ДЕКОРАТИВНО-ПРИКЛАДНОЇ ТВОРЧОСТІ

В статті розглянуто педагогічні умови навчання старшокласників декоративно-прикладної творчості. Визначено, що при навчанні старшокласників декоративно-прикладної творчості застосовуються такі основні педагогічні умови: науковість у навчанні; зв’язок теорії з практикою; виховний характер трудового навчання; системність і послідовність навчання; доступність і посильність навчального матеріалу; наочність; свідомість, активність, міцність засвоєння знань та умінь. Також зазначено, що одним із закладів, де ефективно реалізуються педагогічні умови навчання старшокласників декоративно-прикладної творчості, є Решетилівський художній професійний ліцей.

Revisiting Geometrical Preservation Properties Using Proof Without Words and Interactive Technology

The complexity of the art of teaching and learning, especially in the field of mathematics, calls for a broader approach than the traditional status quote. Proof without words in geometry coupled with the dynamic and interactive GeoGebra applet have the capacity to be used in all levels of mathematics education from grade schools to higher education. It is the aim of this article to present a few open-ended geometrical problems where proofs without words and dynamic interactive GeoGebra applets can be used in mathematics education.

The article is devoted to the teaching practice of art in the framework of school education system in Japan. The topicality of the theme is determined by the fact that it is this stage of education that provides the foundations and understanding of art, forms creative thinking skills, primary professional skills in certain areas of art and craft. Systematization of existing data allows establishing the general specificity, principles and approaches to teaching art in Japanese schools.

Theater Education: A Need Analysis of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) at Malaysian Arts School

This writing is a needs analysis study to draft Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) acting in implementing the teaching of Theater Arts coaches of Malaysian Arts School (SSeM). The background of the study is externally related to the existing acting content knowledge and effective acting skills in implementing the teacher's teaching and directly is the practice of acting in the form of noble values and discipline. This study was conducted specifically to identify the PCK focusing in field of acting knowledge by the coaches and explore the acting skills and practices in the implementation of teaching. Next, exploration the practice in teacher teaching in the value of morals and discipline. The design used in this study is a qualitative and case study strategy. The scope of the study is on the selection of coaches at Malaysian Arts School and purposive sampling. The study's findings are to analyze the knowledge and skills of acting in the implementation of the teaching of Theater Arts. The need analysis of the study will survey to create a guidelines model of Pedagogical Content Knowledge of Theater Arts, especially in acting. The importance of research to improve the teaching profession in the Malaysian education system, especially in the production of Performing Arts Education teachers, that can be applied by every teacher and prospective teacher specialization or non-specialization in the application of new curriculum and used as a guiding model framework by the Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE) or the Department of Higher Education (MOHE).

Development of Ukrainian choral art in conditions of digitalization

The topicality of the topic lies in the peculiarities of the development of digital technologies and the factors of their influence on the cultural activity of Ukrainian art. With the development of digital technologies, new opportunities are opening up to ensure the development of Ukrainian choral art. The scientific work aims to study the qualitative characteristics of modern Ukrainian artistic formation based on the improvement of teaching, popularization, and analysis of Ukrainian choral art. The object of research is modern methods of development of Ukrainian choral art with the help of global promotion of digitization processes, which affect not only the socio-economic environment of the country but also the quality of creation and development of cultural and ethical factors. . The research methodology consists in the use of modern means of digital technologies to promote the development of Ukrainian choral art. In addition, the research uses analytical, statistical, and deductive methods to explain the development of Ukrainian choral art in the conditions of digitalization. The obtained results of the research are important both for improving the tools of Ukrainian art and for conducting research on the methodology of development of Ukrainian choral art.

Exploitation for Multimedia Asian Information Processing and Artificial Intelligence-based Art Design and Teaching in Colleges

Artificial intelligence has been widely used in art education and learning due to its quick progress. Any creation made with the help of artificial intelligence is referred to as art design. It covers works generated independently by AI systems and works created in collaboration with humans and AI systems. The objective of directing the invention of environmental art design thinking is to stimulate students' learning and innovation abilities and teach students how to put design ideas into effect. Despite the progress of smart technologies, there are several challenges in increasing the teaching capabilities of technical art design courses, such as the influence of different variables, the absence of quantitative research, and the imperfection in the index system. In this paper, the Artificial intelligence-based Art design and teaching (AI-ADT) method in colleges increases the capacity to adapt to AI-oriented art education, establish intelligent teaching methods, and improve AI-oriented art teaching art knowledge and environments. The widespread application of artificial intelligence in design education has become a trend in development. Self-Learning Systems are software that incorporates machine learning techniques to allow computers to learn from and make judgments based on data without the need for explicit programming instructions. The art design profession should confirm and actively adapt to this development trend. Modify the original teaching mode, invent their teaching methods, continually enrich the teaching methods, enhance the quality of teaching, and constantly foster high-quality art design talents in the new age. AI-ADT investigates the optimization of the art design curriculum system in higher education institutions in the context of artificial intelligence. The experimental results show that the proposed method develops smart teaching (98.1%), flexibility (96.5%), performance (93.6%), participation (94.9%), and interaction (95.1%).

On The Inheritance Of "Intangible Cultural Heritage" In The Teaching Practice Of College Graduation Design From The Perspective Of "Internet +"

The purpose of this paper is to advocate the cultivation of students' inheritance, innovation and practical ability of "intangible cultural heritage" from the perspective of "Internet +", explore the inheritance path of "intangible cultural heritage" in the graduation design teaching of college art and design majors, and seek the breakthrough point and convergence point of "intangible cultural heritage" inheritance and design innovation. Based on the specialty characteristics and through the integration of local "intangible cultural heritage" resources, a set of practical teaching mode of graduation design conforming to the characteristics of "intangible cultural heritage" has been formed.

Historical Stages of Teaching Fine Arts in Schools of Uzbekistan

The article provides information on the stages of development of Uzbek national visual art from ancient times to the present day. It contains information about various types and genres of fine art, great artists of the East, folk masters who created it. Also, the methodology of teaching fine art in Uzbekistan since the twentieth century, the pedagogues who worked in the initial stages of its development, the current teaching of fine art in general secondary educational institutions and higher education institutions, the development of the methodology are highlighted.

Integrating Computational Thinking in Rural Middle School Art Classes in Eastern North Carolina

With funding from a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant, an innovative endeavor to integrate computational thinking into the teaching of both music and visual arts in three rural school districts in North Carolina was launched in early December 2018. Over the next five years—a time span that encompassed a major hurricane which devastated the area and the COVID-19 pandemic—the partners in a research practitioner partnership collaborated to create and refine curricular activity system projects in both subject areas. This paper is focused on the visual arts component of the grant activities. After discussing the genesis of the project, I situate it as contributing to the cultural capital of the middle school student participants and situate it theoretically in cognitive flexibility theory. I then discuss the operational definition of computational thinking that underpinned the design of the elements of the curricular activity system which were then refined and adapted to the rural contexts in collaboration with the teachers. I provide an overview of the curricular activities (a professional development website was created by grant colleagues at University 2) and discuss students’ perspectives on the concepts and approaches of computational thinking. I close with reflections on the importance of the project.
