The Marangoni convection during isopropanol volatilization to a single nitrogen bubble with the deformable interface is investigated by combining the Volume of Fluid model and the Level Set method. Both the deformation of the bubble and the thermal effect accompanying with the mass transfer are taken into account. The Marangoni convection is investigated under non-gravity and gravity conditions respectively. The flow, temperature and concentration field information are acquired, and the influence of the Marangoni convection on the mass transfer is distinguished. The mass transfer process of a single rising bubble with different diameters in the stationary isopropanol aqueous solution is investigated under different gravities, and occurrence of the Marangoni convection is discriminated.
