Research on the Development of Agricultural Products Logistics under the Value Chain Optimization Concept of Logistics Management

The value chain of logistics management is the key to meeting the needs of circulation entities, improving logistics efficiency, optimizing logistics division of labor, and promoting the upgrading of logistics enterprises. It plays a positive role in promoting the development of agricultural product logistics. However, it is understood that there are still many problems in China's agricultural product logistics system, such as opaque information, multiple circulation links, high costs, high losses, and low profits. These will reduce the optimization of logistics management value chain, leading to low efficiency in agricultural product circulation and entering a low consumption cycle mode. Therefore, based on the concept of optimizing the value of logistics management, this article analyzes the development difficulties of the current agricultural product reverse logistics model, explores the design and operation mode of the agricultural product reverse logistics system, proposes corresponding countermeasures to maximize the value chain of agricultural product logistics management, in order to promote the stable and sustainable development of agricultural product logistics and improve the circulation efficiency of agricultural products.

Empirical study on the impact of the digital economy on the efficiency of agricultural product circulation under the dual carbon goals

Under the dual carbon goals, it has become an urgent practical issue to enhance the efficiency of agricultural product circulation while reducing environmental damage. This paper first constructs a theoretical model to analyze the relationship between the digital economy, green technological innovation, and agricultural product circulation efficiency. Based on panel data from 29 provinces in China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Tibet, and Hainan) from 2015 to 2021, this study utilizes a two-way fixed-effects model and a threshold regression model to analyze the impact of the digital economy on agricultural product circulation efficiency. Meanwhile, the mediating role of green technological innovation is explored in-depth through a mediating effect model. The results indicate that regional heterogeneity exists at the development level of the digital economy and in the efficiency of agricultural product circulation. The digital economy can significantly enhance the efficiency of agricultural product circulation, and green technological innovation plays a mediating role in this process. The impact of the digital economy on agricultural product circulation efficiency exhibits a dual threshold effect, where the promotion effect weakens after crossing two threshold values. Finally, this paper proposes countermeasures based on regional development status, including strengthening the application of the digital economy in agricultural product circulation, promoting green technological innovation, and reducing the thresholds for digital economy development.

First Case Report of Cystic Echinococcosis Caused by G7 Genotype Echinococcus intermedius Confirmed by Genetic Sequencing - Southern China, December 2023.

Echinococcosis exhibits a global distribution. In China, the primary endemic area is the northwest region. In December 2023, we documented a case of echinococcosis in an individual lacking any travel or residential history in endemic regions. This is the first laboratory-confirmed case of hepatic echinococcosis reported in Guangdong Province, associated with the G7 genotype of Echinococcus granulosus (E. granulosus). The most probable mode of transmission is a local infection resulting from E. granulosus introduced from endemic regions. As the circulation of agricultural products increases, it is essential to enhance the quarantine and management of livestock from epidemic areas to prevent and control the spread of echinococcosis to non-epidemic regions.

Analysis of dynamic relationship between agricultural products circulation service industry and circulation efficiency in less developed regions: based on data from Western China

The market circulation system for agricultural products in less-developed regions lags behind; it fails to meet the requirements for efficient circulation. Therefore, it is crucial to explore the dynamic relationship between the Agricultural Products Circulation (APC) service industry and circulation efficiency. Using panel data from 29 regions in China, the entropy method measured the Development Level (DL) of the APC service industry, while the non-oriented super-efficiency Slacks-Based Measure (SBM) model was employed to assess the APC efficiency. A Panel Vector Autoregressive (PVAR) model was built for estimation. The impulse response function and variance decomposition were utilized to analyze the differences in the DL of the APC service industry, circulation efficiency, and their interaction mechanism across the Western, Central, and Eastern regions of China. The findings indicate that the DL of the APC service industry and APC efficiency in the less-developed regions of the West have a positive driving effect on each other. However, the magnitude of this effect was asymmetric and transient. The APC service industry’s DL and APC efficiency are more dependent on their inertia, and no efficient two-way feedback mechanism has been formed. This study provides a reference for the construction and sustainable development of modernized APC systems in less-developed regions.

Decision Analysis of Cold Chain Supply Chain Based on a Stochastic Evolution Model

Accelerating the development of cold chain logistics for agricultural products is not only an objective requirement for the development of agricultural product circulation but also a necessary demand to promote rural revitalization and upgrade agricultural consumption. Addressing the evolutionary problems of cold chain transportation in uncertain environments, this study considers the actual stochastic disturbances in the cold chain supply chain system, introducing Gaussian white noise to reflect the random perturbations experienced during the evolution of the cold chain. A three-party stochastic evolutionary game model is established involving farmers, logistics enterprises, and government regulatory authorities. Based on this model, numerical simulation analysis is conducted to explore the effects of different factors such as the intensity of random disturbances and the loss transfer coefficient on the fluctuation of strategic choices of the entities and the convergence speed to a stable state during evolution. Finally, combining the results of numerical simulation, relevant policies and recommendations are proposed to provide insights and guidance for the development of cold chain logistics in agricultural products.

生鲜农产品冷链集货车辆路径与货物配载联合优化研究

As a bridge connecting agricultural production and consumption, the circulation of agricultural products has the function of connecting supply and demand, guiding production and promoting consumption. However, the development of rural logistics in China is slow, and most logistics centers still rely on experience to plan the pick-up vehicle routings, resulting in long transport time and high cost. In order to improve the efficiency of pick-up and reduce transportation costs, a joint optimization model of cold-chain pick-up vehicle routing and cargo allocation for fresh agricultural products was proposed in this study. Soft time window constraint and three-dimensional loading constraints were considered, and the lowest pick-up cost was used as optimization goals in this model. In addition, adaptive large neighborhood search algorithm (ALNS) and heuristic depth-first search algorithm (HDFS) were combined to solve the model. A case study of Kunming International Flower Auction Center was conducted to compare the schemes of pick-up vehicle routing before and after optimization. Results demonstrate that the pick-up cost after optimization decreases by 9.6 %, the number of vehicles decreases by one, the total volume utilization rate of vehicles increases by 23 %, and the total load utilization rate of vehicles increases by 15 %. This study provides a model reference and solution method for enterprise operators to formulate schemes of pick-up vehicle routing quickly and reasonably.

Analysis of the Current Situation, Influential Factors, and Countermeasures of Rural E-commerce Development

The development of rural e-commerce is becoming an important driver for the transformation of China’s rural economy, and with the rapid development of information technology and the upgrading of the agricultural industry, rural e-commerce is showing a vigorous momentum of development. Traditionally, agricultural products are mainly sold through traditional farmers’ markets, which are subjected to geography and channel limitations, resulting in inefficient circulation of agricultural products. This paper analyzes the definition, the status quo, as well as the influencing factors of rural e-commerce development. On this basis, countermeasures for the advancement of rural e-commerce development are put forward.

Research on Optimization of Agricultural Products Cold Chain Logistics Distribution System Based on Low Carbon Perspective

Based on thindiscussion of the traditional agricultural product distribution model, this article establishes a low-carbon perspective of urban agricultural product co-distribution model to reduce the level of agricultural product circulation and reduce the impact of distribution activities on the environment. By comprehensively considering the factors affecting carbon emissions in the vehicle delivery process, the fuel consumption and carbon emissions estimation models of delivery vehicles are analyzed and put forward. A mathematical model for the optimization of urban agricultural product cold chain distribution routes from a low-carbon perspective is established. This article takes a logistics center as an example, selects genetic algorithm as the model solution method, optimizes the distribution route, and obtains the corresponding result, thus verifying the rationality and feasibility of the model.

Analysis of the development of China's fresh agricultural products e-commerce platform based on Marx's production and circulation theory

The key problem of agricultural production is to realize the value of agricultural products. At present, the actual circulation of agricultural products in China is restricted by various problems. In response to the question of how to better smooth the circulation system of agricultural products in the context of the normalized management of the epidemic and the digital economy, Chinese academics are currently more inclined to use economic principles to study and answer it. This paper uses an indirect research method, combined with the theory of production and circulation in Marxist political economy, to try to analyze the development direction of China's agricultural products circulation system under digital inclusion. The critical factor for advancing the transformation and upgrading of China's agricultural goods circulation system is in the reduction of circulation time and costs, hence enhancing the efficiency of agricultural product circulation. Hence, it is imperative to proactively cultivate novel rural e-commerce models alongside enhancing the conventional agricultural product circulation system. This entails encouraging diverse stakeholders to actively engage in the establishment of a contemporary agricultural product circulation system under government guidance, while also enhancing the organization and digitization of agricultural product distribution.

Developing a Dynamic Marketing Channel Model for Agricultural Cooperatives in the New Media Economy Using the Power of the Internet of Things

Abstract The marketing channel is the lifeline of agricultural product circulation and marketing. Multi-level and multi-channel smooth circulation of agricultural products is an important way for agricultural cooperatives to realize the value of their goal. This paper builds an agricultural Internet of Things service system to lay an informatization foundation for the development of dynamic marketing channels of “new media platform + agricultural cooperatives”. With the use of new media platforms as an operational mode and the marketing strategy of agricultural cooperatives as guidance, the marketing effectiveness of agricultural products can be improved. Adopting Internet thinking and innovation trends, comprehending the characteristics of new media marketing, and encouraging collaboration between new media platforms and agricultural cooperatives. Based on 28,450 agricultural cooperatives in China, the marketing channel mode selection and characteristic data were analyzed, and it was found that among the 2,617 cooperatives using new media platforms for channel marketing, the product price fluctuation was between 0 and 10%, and the difficulty of product sales was stable in the interval of [0,40], which indicated that the new media marketing channel could make the price of agricultural products stable and easier to sell. Evolutionary game analysis found that the choice of cooperation or non-cooperation between agricultural cooperatives and new media platforms is related to the coefficient of benefit analysis, the coefficient of cooperation cost, and the liquidated damages of the cooperation between the two parties. Therefore, in order to improve the intensity of cooperation between new media platforms and agricultural cooperatives, improvements should be made in terms of benefits, costs, and liquidated damages.

A novel method for vegetable and fruit classification based on using diffusion maps and machine learning

Vegetable and fruit classification can help all links of agricultural product circulation to better carry out inventory management, logistics planning and supply chain coordination, and improve the efficiency and response speed of the supply chain. However, the current classification of vegetables and fruits mainly relies on manual classification, which inevitably introduces the influence of human subjective factors, resulting in errors and misjudgments in the classification of vegetables and fruits. In response to this serious problem, this research proposes an efficient and reproducible novel model to classify multiple vegetables and fruits using handcrafted features. In the proposed model, preprocessing operations such as Gaussian filtering, grayscale and binarization are performed on the pictures of vegetables and fruits to improve the quality of the pictures; statistical texture features representing vegetable and fruit categories, wavelet transform features and shape features are extracted from the preprocessed images; the feature dimension reduction method of diffusion maps is used to reduce the redundant information of the combined features composed of statistical texture features, wavelet transform features and shape features; five effective machine learning methods were used to classify the types of vegetables and fruits. In this research, the proposed method was rigorously verified experimentally and the results show that the SVM classifier achieves 96.25% classification accuracy of vegetables and fruits, which proves that the proposed method is helpful to improve the quality and management level of vegetables and fruits, and provide strong support for agricultural production and supply chain.

The Role of Online Shopping in Supporting and Promoting Agricultural Development in Backward Areas of China

This essay tries to explain how online shopping aids and fosters agricultural growth in Chinas underdeveloped regions. The essay first explains the idea of online shopping and discusses its state of growth both domestically and internationally before analyzing the value and benefits of online shopping for agricultural development. Based on this, the article suggests various online shopping applications for agriculture, such as online shopping platforms, rural online shopping, cross-border online shopping, etc., and explores the particular contributions that each of these applications has made to the advancement of agriculture in underdeveloped regions. The paper claims that by extending sales channels, reducing distribution costs, and improving the efficiency of agricultural product circulation, online shopping may considerably assist agricultural development. Online shopping can help farmers understand market demand better, improve the added value of agricultural products, and effectively address issues with information asymmetry and poor logistics. As a result, farmers incomes will rise, and the agricultural and industrial structures will be optimized and modernized. Backward regions are especially guilty of this. The article also emphasizes the challenges that online shopping still has in promoting agriculture in impoverished areas, including a lack of proper policy support, poor infrastructure, and limited farmer network literacy. In summary, online shopping plays a significant supporting and boosting role in the growth of agriculture in Chinas underdeveloped regions. Through in-depth research and practice, we can find more online shopping application modes and provide more effective ways for agricultural development in backward areas.

Neighborhood effect, virtual social networks, and farmers' social e‐commerce participation behavior

AbstractThe development of social e‐commerce can integrate the production, circulation, and sales of agricultural products; realize the digitalization of the agricultural production process; and promote farmers' savings and profits. On the basis of the stimulus–organism–response theory and the embedding theories, microsurvey data of 302 farmers regarding the winter jujube production area of the Dali facility in the Shaanxi Province were used to empirically test the impact of neighborhood effect (NE) and virtual social networks on farmers' participation in social e‐commerce, and the interaction effect of the two aspects. Additionally, we analyzed its mechanism under the framework of “social networks‐farmers' cognition‐social e‐commerce participation behavior (SEPB).” The research results are as follows. First, neighborhood participation, social software friends, and information release have a significant positive impact on farmers' SEPB, whereas information reception has a negative impact. Second, the empirical results considering the comprehensive effects of various variables show that NE, network communication, and network participation (NP) can all promote farmers' participation in social e‐commerce, and NP is complementary to NE. Third, mechanism analysis shows that NE and NP produce partial mediating effect and complete mediating effect, respectively, through self‐competence recognition (SR), which in turn positively impacts the SEPB. In the heterogeneity analysis, for farmers with a plantation area of less than or equal to 0.447 ha, SR has a partial mediating effect on the process of NE affecting SEPB, whereas the motivating factor is NP. In terms of labor force structure, only the percentage of nonagricultural workers exceeds 0.253, NE and NP affect SEPB through SR. This study can provide a reference for farmers to rationally use their social networks, and guide the formulation of social e‐commerce support policies at the national level.

Impacts of agri-food e-commerce on traditional wholesale industry: Evidence from China

Rapidly expanding studies investigate the effects of e-commerce on company operations in the retail market. However, the interaction between agri-food e-commerce (AEC) and the traditional agri-food wholesale industry (AWI) has not received enough attention in the existing literature. Based on the provincial panel data from 2013 to 2020 in China, this paper examines the effect of AEC on AWI, comprising three dimensions: digitalization (DIGITAL), agri-food e-commerce infrastructure and supporting services (AECI), and agri-food e-commerce economy (AECE). First, AWI and AEC are measured using an entropy-based combination of indicators. The results indicate that for China as a whole, AWI has remained practically unchanged, whereas AEC exhibits a significant rising trend. Second, the findings of the fixed-effect regression reveal that DIGITAL and AECE tend to raise AWI, whereas AECI negatively affects AWI. Third, threshold regression results indicate that AECI tends to diminish AWI with three-stage inhibitory intensity, which manifests as a first increase and then a drop in the inhibition degree. These results suggest that with the introduction of e-commerce for agricultural product circulation, digital development will have catfish effects that tend to stimulate the vitality of the conventional wholesale industry and promote technical progress. Furthermore, the traditional wholesale industry benefits financially from e-commerce even while it diverts part of the traditional wholesale circulation for agricultural products.

Principles of legal regulation of relations in the field of production, circulation and labeling of organic agricultural products

The article is aimed at studying the legal framework for organic agricultural production through the prism of the principles of legal regulation in this area, and also at formulating, on this basis, conclusions and proposals aimed at improving current legislation. One of the modern objects of agrarian legal regulation, as well as a way to implement the strategy of sustainable agricultural development, is organic agricultural production, which is a guarantee of balancing economic, environmental and social priorities of agricultural development, a guarantee of a high level of safety and quality of agricultural products, and ensuring food security of the State. The effectiveness of legal regulation depends on the level of scientific development of the principles, but a significant drawback of the current organic legislation is the absence of some important principles. An important basis for legal regulation of organic agricultural production is the principle of priority, which is a general requirement in the law that organic agricultural production has advantages over conventional production in the form of rules designed to ensure not only its stable functioning, but also the spread and improvement of such activities. The manifestation of the principle of priority of organic agricultural production is also evidenced by the state’s interest in a separate legal regulation of this type of activity and filling its content with some public law features that ensure the production of agricultural products of the highest quality. Given the undeniable strategic importance and priority of organic agricultural production, one of the main directions of the state agricultural policy should be state support for this activity. An extremely important characteristic of organic agricultural products is a high level of quality and safety. Therefore, the defining principle of the State policy of these social relations should be the principle of ensuring quality and safety and State control at all stages of production and circulation. Based on the analysis of current organic legislation, the article concludes that an essential need for proper legal regulation of relations in this area is the need to legislate the above-mentioned legal principles on which the State policy in the field of production, circulation and labeling of organic agricultural products should be based.

Effect of modifying agricultural product circulation on mood disorders among consumers

BackgroundMood disorders encompass a category of mental illnesses characterized by fluctuating emotional states, including periods of elevated and diminished emotions. These conditions have the potential to profoundly influence an individual’s behavior and cognitive functions. To effectively intervene in mood disorders, innovation is made in the circulation mode of agricultural products based on the patient’s lifestyle habits, and consumer mental changes are recorded, providing reference opinions for the treatment of mood disorders.Subjects and MethodsA cohort of 140 individuals, who were enthusiastic about agricultural products and exhibited symptoms of mood disorders, was recruited from the general population. All participants displayed clear indications of mood disorders. The circulation mode of agricultural products was reconfigured under the participants’ lifestyle habits. A comprehensive set of measures was implemented as part of the intervention. Over a span of 4 months, the mental symptoms of the 140 participants were meticulously documented. These records formed the basis for subsequent analysis. All collected data were subjected to rigorous statistical examination using SPSS23.0. To gauge changes in participants’ mental states, the Self-Rating Depression Scale was employed. This assessment tool was administered both before and after the intervention period.ResultsThe transformation of the agricultural product circulation mode led to significant improvements in emotional well-being and mental state among patients over the 4-month intervention period. The psychological impact varied based on the specific agricultural product transformation strategy employed. Nonetheless, all strategies demonstrated a capacity to alleviate negative emotions and foster overall patient well-being.ConclusionsAdapting the agricultural product circulation mode in line with individual patient characteristics emerges as a promising strategy for mitigating mental stress and enhancing the well-being of those affected by mood disorders. This innovative approach offers potential avenues for symptom relief and presents actionable recommendations for mood disorder treatment.

Based on the background of rural revitalization, e-commerce to help agriculture development in the form of diversification, intelligent agriculture, e-commerce trading platforms, etc. for the trading and circulation of agricultural products to provide a new direction. Based on this, this paper launches a study on the development strategy of e-commerce to help agriculture, through the study of e-commerce in rural areas marketing status quo, marketing problems and specific development strategies, in order to promote the development of e-commerce in rural areas under the background of rural revitalization.

Study of the Spatial Spillover Effects of the Efficiency of Agricultural Product Circulation in Provinces along the Belt and Road under the Green Total Factor Productivity Framework

In the context of China’s socialist market economy, production and circulation are equally important. Production creates value, while circulation realises value, and both are essential components of socialised reproduction. This paper, based on panel data from 30 provinces and cities in China covering the period from 2010 to 2021, uses methods such as the slacks-based model (SBM), global Malmquist–Luenberger (GML) index, generalised method of moments with system estimation (system GMM) and spatial Durbin model to investigate the developing mechanism and influencing factors of agricultural product circulation efficiency in provinces along the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) within the framework of green total factor productivity. This study found the following: First, the overall trend of green total factor productivity of agricultural product circulation in provinces along the BRI shows negative growth, especially after the launch of the BRI initiative in 2014. Second, the level of foreign investment has a positive impact on the green total factor productivity of agricultural product circulation in provinces along the BRI. On the other hand, environmental regulations, government support and industrial structure have negative impacts. Third, based on the spatial weight matrix of geographical adjacency, there is a positive spatial spillover effect on the green total factor productivity of agricultural product circulation.
