Penerapan Media Postcard untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan Siswa SMK Ma’arif NU Kajen Tahun 2021/2022

The learning model applied during the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way students learn, so that student activity in the learning process in class is still low and there are many student absences after the pandemic. Almost 2 years of the pandemic have required students to study from their respective homes so that students are increasingly lazy or less active in learning. This is the basis for the idea of ​​how to make them more effective in learning by using postcard media. Postcard media is a media containing questions related to learning that must be answered by students by taking lucky coupons. The purpose of this study is 1) To describe the teacher's process in implementing postcard media in building student activity in learning in class XI of SMK Ma'arif NU Kajen. 2) To analyze the level of student activity of class XI of SMK Ma'arif NU Kajen through the application of postcard media in learning. This classroom action research was conducted at SMK Ma'arif NU Kajen with the research subjects of class XI students totaling 72 students with almost the same academic abilities, able to understand simple materials, but the level of student activity is low, the majority are less brave in expressing ideas, ideas and opinions. Data collection techniques include questionnaire sheets and documentation. Data analysis used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study showed that the process of implementing postcard media which was carried out through three stages, namely the process of designing a learning plan, the process of implementing learning, and the process of evaluating the use of learning media has been implemented well by teachers. In cycle I, the results of the questionnaire showed that the application of postcard media to increase student activity was successful with an average score reaching 86%. In cycle II, the application of postcard media to increase student activity was successful with an average questionnaire score reaching 88%. Postcard media has proven to be effective in increasing student activity in learning. For teachers, it is expected to be able to improve learning media so that students can be encouraged to be active in class. For schools, it is expected to be able to provide adequate facilities, especially the provision of teaching aids so that teachers can be more free in creating a creative learning process.

<span><strong>Factors affecting learning activeness of students from the Faculty of Social Sciences Teacher Education, School of Education, Dong Thap University</strong></span>

Students' activeness in learning plays an important role in comprehending the content of university teaching because the nature of university teaching is a unique cognitive activity of a research nature of students under the organization and instructions by teachers. Therefore, activeness in learning requires students to be proactive in assigned learning tasks, forming a sense of self-study and self-research during university studies and in professional activities in their future careers. Students' activeness in learning is the result of subjective and objective factors. This article presents the results of a survey of the current status of factors affecting the active learning of students at the Faculty of Social Sciences Teacher Education at Dong Thap University to serve as a basis for further research on methods of student education.

<span><strong>The effectiveness of implementing learning project on the quadratic function in high school</strong></span>

Project-based learning is one of the modern teaching methods utilizing student group intelligence to perform the learning task designed by the teacher. Through this method, students can acquire knowledge and develop necessary skills in learning such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving. This paper aimed to investigate the effectiveness of implementing a learning project on the topic of the quadratic function at high school. A quasi-experimental method was conducted in one month involving two classes of tenth-grade students, consisting of an experiment and a control class (conventional learning). Qualitative and quantitative data were collected through student activity observation sheets, mathematics pre-test and post-test. This study could provide an effect of utilizing project-based learning and opportunities to implement learning projects in high schools.

Classroom indoor air quality and noise level assessment of different educational institutions in a university area in Bangladesh

Introduction: The classroom environment is crucial for fostering effective learning and safeguarding teacher-student health. This study assessed the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and noise levels in classrooms across three institutions: a university, a secondary and higher secondary school (called a school and college), and a primary school. Materials and methods: Various IAQ parameters such as Particulate Matters (PM2.5 and PM10), Carbon monoxide (CO), Carbon dioxide (CO2), Total Volatile Organic Compound (TVOC), and temperature, Relative Humidity (RH), light, and noise levels were measured using calibrated instruments from February to March 2024. Results: The air pollutants and noise levels varied among the institutions. The mean values of PM 2.5 (76.6 µg/m3) and PM (116.7 µg/m3) were highest The mean values of PM 2.5 (76.6 µg/m3) and PM (116.7 µg/m3) were highest in the primary school, while CO (0.82 ppm), light (92.9 lux), temperature (27.6 °C), and noise levels (77.6 dB) peaked in the school and college. University classrooms showed the maximum concentrations of CO2 (804.9 ppm), TVOC (32.9 ppb), and RH (58.6%). In all institutions, PM2.5, PM10, and noise levels exceeded WHO-recommended limits, whereas CO, CO2, RH, and temperature remained within their respective standards. Light levels were below Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. Correlation analysis showed significant positive correlations between PM2.5 PM10, and CO. Hazard Quotient (HQ) values for PM 2.5 and PM10 exceeded 1.0, indicating potential health risks. Variations in pollutants and noise levels among institutions may be due to classroom facilities, student density, ventilation systems, and student activities. Conclusion: Long-term exposure to IAQ pollutants and noise levels could impair cognitive function, respiratory health, and overall well-being of the students and educators. Implementing proper ventilation (e.g., HEPA filters) systems, soundproofing acoustic panels, and continuous IAQ monitoring is recommended for a safer classroom environment.

The role of modelling during instruction in collaborative creativity

This research examines how modelling, a common instructional technique where a teacher or expert demonstrates a task or skill, impacts students' creative expression in artistic disciplines like music, dance, and visual arts. The study specifically focuses on elementary students engaged in creative collaboration activities, generating movements to music and altering lyrics to a folk song. Through audio and video recordings of student activity, the study observed how students interacted with both the teacher's and their peers' modelled examples. The findings indicate that students often imitated the teacher's examples and adhere closely to the model, creating some confusion for students during idea generation and the rejection of certain ideas.Findings show that in lessons where creative activities are designed to elicit a variety of ideas and make connections, how students interpret modelling can be complex. This highlights the need for clear communication about the intended use of modelling. Despite the small sample size, the study provides initial insights into the challenges and complexities of using modelling in creative educational tasks, emphasising the balance between imitation and creativity.

Types of Questions Asked by Teachers at Primary School 077786 Tuhembaruzo in Classroom Interaction

This study aims to analyze the types of teacher questions in the teaching and learning process in three study groups and to analyze student activeness in the learning process at SD Negeri 077786 Tuhembaruzo. To obtain the results of this research, a descriptive qualitative method was used because this research focuses on phenomena that occur in the classroom. After analyzing it was found that there were 3 types of questions used by teachers in the study groups, namely procedural, convergent and divergent types of questions. the type of teacher questions in the three study groups at SD Negeri 077786 Tuhembaruzo was more convergent type than divergent and procedural types, namely 57, 23% of questions. While the teacher's procedural type questions amounted to 19.07% and the divergent type amounted to 23.68%.

Penerapan Model Reciprocal Teaching untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 016 Rambah Samo

This research is classroom action research (PTK) which aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of the reciprocal teaching model in mathematics learning. Data collection techniques are carried out in the form of student activity observation sheets, teacher activity observation sheets and test questions. The results of this research show that in cycle I and cycle II there was an increase. The learning outcomes in cycle I, meeting I, had an average score obtained by students, namely 54.12, then in cycle I, meeting II, the average score obtained by students was 65.88. Then in cycle II, at meeting I, the average score obtained by students was 71.18, and at meeting II, the average score for students was 85.88. Besides increasing student learning outcomes, student observation sheets also increased. In cycle I, meeting I, student observations were 50%, then in cycle I, meeting II, it increased to 60%. In cycle II, meeting I, the student's ability still increased to 80%, and in cycle II, meeting II, it increased to 90%. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the reciprocal teaching model can improve student mathematics learning outcomes for class V students at SD Negeri 016 Rambah Samo

The Application of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) Approach In Learning The Indonesian Language

This research was conducted to reflect on teachers' performance and analyze the improvement of the quality of student learning in Indonesian language subjects. This research aims to explore the use of poetry learning strategies through CRT. The focus is on improving the quality of Indonesian language learning by implementing CRT in the students' environment. This research design uses a case study. Based on the implementation of Field Experience Practices, it was found that students looked sleepy and easily bored while learning the Indonesian language. This case was because Indonesian learning displays too much long text. So, the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach was implemented to solve the problem. Teaching using the CRT approach in the Indonesian language subject was carried out for eight weeks with two sessions of meetings in class X.1 of State Senior High School 1 Jember. The results showed that students actively participate in the learning process. Besides, learners' learning activities support the existence of learning products. The Indonesian language learning product produced is a musicalization video of poetry. The product also received feedback from the teacher in the form of appreciation, enthusiasm, and motivation for students. The findings of this research show that improving the quality of learning can be achieved by utilizing CRT as a context in the development of texts and their instruction. The meaningfulness of the learning can be seen from the students' deep understanding, enabling them to grasp the benefits and functions of studying texts in Indonesian. This study recommends implementing Culturally Responsive Teaching in Indonesian language learning subjects to increase student learning activities. One of the activities of Culturally Responsive Teaching is creating appropriate activities for students' cultural backgrounds in the form of musicalization poetry.

Practice-oriented tasks as a tool for testing the readiness of high school students for elective courses in informatics

The article substantiates the importance of incoming control for elective courses in informatics. It shows what didactic tools can be used to implement this control. Several elective courses in informatics developed by students of the Physics and Mathematics Department of the Mordovian State Pedagogical University named after M. E. Evseviev on the university discipline "Technology of development and methodology of conducting elective courses in informatics" are given. For each of them, developed practice-oriented tasks for the incoming control are given, which take into account the minimum set of knowledge and skills of schoolchildren necessary for successful assimilation of the material by the latter. Possible results of completing the tasks of the incoming control are demonstrated and it is shown what information a teacher can extract from them in order to effectively create an elective course, including the choice of forms and methods of teaching, organizing the activities of students, combining them into pairs or groups to perform joint project work.

Keefektifan Model Pembelajaran Addie Berbantuan Media Miniatur Bangun Datar terhadap Prestasi Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas II pada Mi Negeri 3 Banyumas

The development of science and technology that is not balanced with facilities, infrastructure and teacher skills in teaching in schools has caused a decline in mathematics learning achievement of grade II students from year to year. Although this problem has been improved, it has not been resolved. So another solution was made by using the ADDIE model assisted by miniature flat shape media. The problem is, is there a difference in learning achievement using the ADDIE model assisted by miniature flat shape media with learning achievement using the conventional model? The research design was a pretest-posttest control group design. The instruments used were achievement tests and student learning activity observation sheets. The data analysis technique in this study used an initial analysis using a normality test and a test of equality of two means and a final analysis using a normality test and a t-test. The result was that the initial analysis of the two samples was normal and the average was the same. While the final analysis of the two normal samples and the t-test stated that t count = 4.036> t table = 2.025 so that there was a difference in the average mathematics learning achievement of those who received instruction using the ADDIE model assisted by miniature flat shape media with those who used the conventional model.

ИННОВАЦИОННАЯ ПАРАДИГМА В КОНТЕКСТЕ ВЫСШЕГО ТЕХНИЧЕСКОГО ОБРАЗОВАНИЯ

The purpose of the article is to describe the experience of using the technology of developing critical thinking in the practical course of the Russian language in the technical university. The article considers efficient ways of applying elements of technology of critical thinking development in practical classes in the Russian language. The classification technology of critical thinking development techniques carried out by the authors, which is based on three phases of learning, gradually replacing each other ("challenge — comprehension — reflection"), is successfully used in university practice. In technology of critical thinking development, the ability to work with questions occupy an important place. Technology of critical thinking development is focused on the questions which develops the mental activity of students. During reflection, students analyze the received information, exchange opinions, justify their point of view. At this stage, it is advisable to turn the acquired information into written form, since in the process of verbalization, new information is comprehended. In this aspect, it is important to instill in students the ability to summarize information. The use of technology of critical thinking development techniques in practical classes of the Russian language makes it possible to make students' educational activities more creative and productive. The organization of such classes, characterized by a certain logic of construction and sequence of combinations of specific tasks, develops the communicative competence of learners, teaches them to read thoughtfully and immerse themselves in information, organize and analyze information, define and solve problems, deal with a notion, conduct reasoned discussion, interpret, creatively process new information, reflect. The use of technology of critical thinking development techniques in Russian language classes contributes to the formation of students' skills to determine the value of an idea based on a critical and objective consideration of arguments.

Developing a High School Mental Health Action Checklist in Thailand: insights on perception and communication.

This study aimed to develop a mental health action checklist for high school students that emphasized the importance of readiness, safety, and good hygiene at work to enhance their mental health and prepare them for the workforce. In total, 949 students from public high schools in Bangkok, Thailand voluntarily participated in this study. The 15-item High School Mental Health Action Checklist was developed based on a literature review and a pilot study. We used the index of item-objective congruence (IOC) to verify the content validity of the Checklist and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) to establish its construct validity. The tool's internal consistency was estimated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The High School Mental Health Action Checklist had good content (IOC = 0.867) and construct validity. EFA revealed four factors that accounted for 46.5% of the variance. The overall reliability coefficient for the High School Mental Health Action Checklist was 0.788, and the reliability coefficients of the subdomains were 0.783-0.797. The Checklist will allow schools to develop an annual action plan for student mental health promotion activities, in accordance with public health guidelines. Our results indicate the High School Student Mental Health Action Checklist has good psychometric properties.

Applicability of Virtual Excursions in Technical Subjects Teaching

During the covid pandemic period of 2019–2020, teaching was carried out via homeschooling, and secondary vocational schools had to deal with the problem of ensuring the implementation of excursions, which were a part of their apprentices’ practical training. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, a group of people at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (Slovakia) came up with a plan to develop some virtual excursions to help secondary vocational schools replace field trips with their virtual counterparts. In the paper, the authors describe the results of the stated intention: two virtual excursions aimed at the production and processing of metal products and verification of their applicability in educational practice based on a qualitative analysis of expert opinions collected by means of individually led semi-structured interviews. The conclusions of the analysis confirm the high degree of usability of the created excursions and verify some positive impacts of the implementation of virtual excursions into the teaching practice, e.g., it increased student motivation to learn, increased student interest in lesson content, increased student activity, and intensified study activities overall, including various forms of self-study.

Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think-Pair-Share dalam Pengajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP YPMA Medan

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) cooperative learning method in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMP YPMA Medan. The problem addressed is the low level of active student participation in PAI learning. To address this issue, the TPS method was implemented as a strategy to increase student engagement. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the TPS method significantly increased student activity in discussions and collaboration, as well as deepened their understanding of the learning material. Students were more motivated and actively participated in the learning process, showing improvement in academic achievement. These findings indicate that the TPS method is effective in teaching PAI, particularly in facilitating interactive and collaborative learning.

Psycho-Social Predictors of Parental Involvement in Academic Activities of Junior Secondary School Students in Port Harcourt Metropolis

This study investigated psycho-social predictors of parental involvement in the academic activities of junior secondary school students in Port Harcourt Metropolis. The study was guided by four research questions and their corresponding null hypotheses. The design for the study was correlational research design. The population of the study consisted of 16,835 parents of 24,343 JSS3 students (Source: School Board, 2024) from 278 public secondary school students in Port Harcourt Metropolis (Post Primary Education Board, 2024). A sample of 689 parents who are alive and can read and write, as reported by their children (The JSS3 students) was used for the study. Multi-stage sampling procedure was used in drawing the sample. Four instruments were used for the study. They are, Self-efficacy Scale (SES), Locus of Control Scale (LCS) Family Conflict Scale (FCS) and Parental Involvement Scale (PIS). The validity of the instruments were done by two experts in Educational Psychology. To ensure the reliability of the instruments Cronbach alpha () technique was used. The alpha coefficients of 0.75, 0.82, 0.67 and 0.76 were obtained for family conflict, self-efficacy, locus of control and parental involvement scale respectively. Multiple regression, simple regression and ANOVA were used for data analysis. Research questions 1 and 3 were answered using simple regression, research question 2 and 4 were answered using multiple regression. Hypotheses I and 3 were tested using ANOVA associated with simple regression while hypotheses 2 and 4 were tested using ANOVA associated with multiple regression. All analyses were done at 0.05 alpha level. Results revealed among others that self-efficacy did not significantly predict parental involvement in the academic activities of junior secondary school students in Port Harcourt Metropolis while locus of control and family conflict significantly predicted parental involvement in the academic activities of junior secondary school students in Port Harcourt Metropolis. It was recommended amongst others that parents should always make effort to exhibit internal locus of control as this will help them get better involved in the academic activities of their children.

Meningkatkan Keaktifan Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran Pak Melalui Model Pbl Kelas V Fase C SD Negeri 16 Sadaniang

From the initial observation of the learning process of Catholic Religious Education and Character Education at SD Negeri 16 Sadaniang, it showed a lack of student activity which affected the level of understanding and learning outcomes. This study aims to improve student activity in the learning process and student learning outcomes by using the Problem Based Learning model on the material Involved in Environmental Conservation at SD Negeri 16 Sadaniang, grade V (five) Phase C. By using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design through four (4) stages, namely; planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection, it is expected to be able to overcome the problems that occur. The subjects of this study were grade V (five) students with a total of 5 students consisting of 3 boys and 2 girls. To obtain research data, Data Collection Techniques were carried out with several aspects, namely; conducting observations with the Pancasila Student Profile indicator; the dimension of mutual cooperation with sub-elements, namely positive interdependence, through cognitive learning outcome tests with the expectation of being proficient, competent, feasible and newly developing.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) Terhadap Aktivitas Belajar Peserta Didik Materi Sistem Reproduksi Kelas XI SMAN 9 Gowa

This study aims to test the significant influence of learning activities of students who are taught using the Project Based Learning learning model of the reproductive system material of class XI SMAN 9 Gowa. This study is a quasi-experimental design with a research design in the form of a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study involved all students of class XI MIA SMAN 9 Gowa totaling 210 people. The sample of this study is class XI MIA 3 which totals 35 students as the control class and class XI MIA 4 which totals 35 students as the experimental class. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data collection tool in this study uses observation sheets of student learning activities and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis with independent sample t-test. The results of the analysis showed that the sign value was less than 0.05, so the hypothesis in this study H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected, because 0.000 < of 0.05. This means that there is a significant influence on the learning activities of students who gain learning by applying the PjBL learning model to the reproductive system material of class XI SMAN 9 Gowa

Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik PAK dengan Model PBL pada Materi Yesus Mengajarkan Pengampunan Kelas V Fase C SD Negeri 5 Cinta Maju

This study aims to improve learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Education and Budi Pekerti subjects by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model for class V SD Negeri 5 Cinta Maju in the 2024/2025 school year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles with 1 meeting in each cycle. Each cycle consists of several stages, namely planning, implementation, action, observation and reflection. The first and second cycles discussed the material Jesus Teaches Forgiveness. This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in student learning outcomes with the help of the PBL learning model on the material of Jesus Teaches Forgiveness in class V in the subject of Catholic Religious Education and ethics at SD Negeri 5 Cinta Maju. This PTK also aims to determine how much the increase in learning achievement targets with the help of the PBL method on the material Jesus Teaches Forgiveness in class V in Catholic religious education and character education subjects at SD Negeri 5 Cinta Maju. Based on the results of observations of student learning activities, teacher activities, and student learning outcomes tests that the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the activities and learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education and Ethics in class V Phase C students of SD Negeri 5 Cinta Maju, Sitiotio District, Samosir Regency.

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar PAKBP pada Materi Manusia Berkembang Berkat Peran Sesama Menggunakan Model Problem Based Learning di Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students on the material "Human Development Through the Roles of Others" using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. This research employed a Classroom Action Research design conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 7 students from the seventh-grade class at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests (formative tests) and non-tests (observations). The results of the study in cycle I showed an average score of 68.14 and a classical learning completeness percentage of 72.42%. In cycle II, the average score increased to 84.85. The average student attendance in cycle I was 100% and remained 100% in cycle II. Student involvement in learning in cycle I was 66.28% (high) and increased to 76.50% (very high) in cycle II. It can be concluded that the PBL model can improve the learning outcomes and activities of students on the material "Human Development Through the Roles of Others" in the seventh-grade class at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching And Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas Dan Hasil Belajar Administrasi Pajak Di SMKN 1 Sidikalang

This study overcomes the problem of low activity and learning outcomes of students in class XI AKL 1 SMK N 1 Sidikalang, consisting of 36 students. This study aims to improve activity and learning outcomes by using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model. Data were collected through activity observation sheets and learning outcomes tests, then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. 1) In cycle I, the first meeting showed an average of 27.77% active activities, then in cycle II, it increased with an average of 77.77% active activities. 2) The average pre-test score was 72.77% with 17 students (47.22%) complete, post-test cycle I 75% with 19 students (52.77%) complete, and post-test cycle II 85.27% with 32 students (88.88%) complete, meeting the success indicator ≥85%. In conclusion, the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model succeeded in improving student learning activities and outcomes.
