Hubungan Antara Kepemimpinan Instruksional Kepala Sekolah, Kompetensi Profesional Guru, Motivasi Erprestasi, dan Kinerja Guru SDN di Kecamatan Murung Pudak Kabupaten Tabalong

The aim of this research is to analyze the direct and indirect relationship between the principal's instructional leadership, professional competence, achievement motivation and the work discipline of SDN teachers in Murung Pudak District, Tabalong Regency. The method used is quantitative descriptive research using a correlational path analysis model to analyze relationship patterns between variables. The research population was 280 teachers from 24 elementary schools in Murung Pudak District and 143 respondents as research samples using the Proportionate Random Sampling technique and the proportional allocation formula. Data collection uses questionnaire instruments and data analysis uses descriptive analysis, classical assumption testing, hypothesis testing and path analysis. results of the analysis of the regression coefficient values for the principal's instructional leadership variable with teacher performance were 0.421, the professional competency variable with performance was 0.330, the achievement motivation variable with performance was 0.256, the principal's instructional leadership variable with achievement motivation was 0.485, the professional competency variable with achievement motivation was 0.485. 0.437, the principal's instructional leadership variable with performance through achievement motivation is 0.124 and the professional competency variable with performance through achievement motivation is 0.112. Conclusion of this research is that the principal's instructional leadership variables, professional competence, achievement motivation and performance of SDN teachers in Murung Pudak District, Tabalong Regency are all in the high category. Self-efficacy dan Employability: Peran Mediasi Achievement Motivation pada Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir yang akan Memasuki Dunia Kerja

This research aims to find the influence of self-efficacy and achievement motivation on employability. This research is causal research with cross-sectional data. The respondents used were 95 final-year students in the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Padang who were chosen using the cluster proportional random sampling technique. Data collection using a questionnaire with a Likert Scale. The data was then analyzed using SmartPLS 4 software. The results of data processing in this research indicate that: (1) self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on employability (2) self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on achievement motivation (3) achievement motivation has a positive and significant effect on employability (4) achievement motivation has a positive and significant effect on employability through achievement motivation.

A STUDY OF ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION AMONG SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH REGARDS TO CERTAIN DEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLES

The need and desire to achieve is a spring-board of the achievement motivation. The present study is initiated to access the level of achievement motivation of secondary school students with regards to certain demographic varriables.1007 secondary school students from Rajouri and poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir has been included in the sample. Achievement Motivation Scale by Deo and Mohan, (2011) has been used to collect the desired information. Results of the study has shown that an average secondary school student has low level of achievement motivation. With regards to demographic variables it is found that gender do not possess significant difference, whereas significant difference has been found in achievement motivation of secondary school students with regards to their place of living and the type of school in which they are studying.

Impact of Achievement Motivation on Academic Performance among University Students: Moderating Role of Satisfaction in Romantic Relationships

The aim of this study was to explore the impact of achievement motivation on academic performance as well as how romantic relationship satisfaction moderates this relationship among university students. For data collection, a survey research design was used. A sample of 300 university students was chosen using purposive sampling. Participants must be 18 years old and have completed at least 14 years of formal education. For comparison, engaged students were also included in the study. Married people were not included. After explaining the purpose of the study, informed consent was obtained. The Revised Achievement Motivation Scale (AMS-R) and the Relationship Assessment Scale were used to collect data (RAS). SPSS and Process Macro were used to analyse the collected data. Academic performance was found to be significantly positively correlated with achievement motivation. Satisfaction in a romantic relationship significantly moderated the relationship between hope for success and academic performance. The current study will assist future researchers in concentrating their efforts on this sensitive topic that is prevalent in our society.

Study on the Relationship Between Personality Characteristics and Attitude of Students in Science and Technology

The study intends to find out the relationship between profile characteristics and attitude of polytechnic students towards diploma programme. A sample of 240 students were selected from three polytechnics viz., Agriculture, Seed technology and Organic farming using simple random sampling procedure. The study revealed that out of seventeen profile characteristics of polytechnic students, Academic achievement, Education of father, Education of mother, Size of land holding, Caste, Family occupation, Participation in Extracurricular & co - curricular activities, Mass media exposure, Achievement motivation and Self - confidence showed positive significant relationship with attitude. On the other hand left over variables like Gender, Medium of instruction in Xth class, Annual income, Type of family, Rural urban background, Library exposure showed positive non - significant and infrastructure facilities showed negative non - significant relationship with attitude. The multiple linear regression equation with seventeen selected profile characteristics put together contributed 70.60 percent to the total variance in the attitude of polytechnic students towards diploma programme.

The Impact of Leadership, Work Culture and Motivation Region of District Legislature Employees

This study was conducted to determine the effect of leadership, work culture and motivation on the performance of employees of the Bantaeng Regency DPRD Secretariat. The research method is quantitative. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression leadership with a t-test of 2.227> t-table 2.021 with a significance of 0.032 <0.05 this study proves that leadership affects the performance of employees of the Bantaeng Regency DPRD Secretariat. The results of this study can be understood that motivation is a form of encouragement that directs the apparatus to carry out an activity that shows its performance at work. Without motivation, there will be no activity so that employees will tend to be passive. Therefore, employees who have high work motivation will tend to do many activities that can lead to better performance. Motivation is also the willingness of employees to expend high levels of effort towards organizational goals. Motivation can take the form of power, affiliation and achievement motivation. With motivation, individuals will be encouraged to develop creativity and actualize all the abilities and energy they have to get the job done.

Emotional Arousal and Its Relationship to Achievement Motivation Among Tennis Players

This investigation attempts to determine the degree to which emotional excitement and tennis player motivation is present in tennis players from tennis clubs in the Erbil Governorate. Additionally, the investigation intended to determine the association between emotional excitement and the desire to achieveletic success in tennis. The researcher employed the descriptive method that is in harmony with the nature of the research. The investigation's sample included 15 tennis players from clubs in Erbil's governorate for the duration of 2023-1404. The data was collected using two metrics: emotional arousal and athletic goal motivation. The gathered data was then evaluated using various statistical methods such as percentages, means, standard deviation, correlation coefficients, and one-sample t-tests. The findings of the study demonstrated that the players of Erbil and Al-Qalaa clubs had a lower degree of emotional excitement, as evidenced by the comparison of their average values to the default average on the scale. Additionally, players from other organizations have a lower degree of emotional excitement when their average values differ from the average. It is important to note that the hypotheses associated with the scale showed a significant relationship between emotional excitement and the desire to win in sports among players of Erbil and Al-Qalaa clubs. On the other hand, no significant differences in emotional arousal were observed between players from different clubs in regards to sporting achievement motivation. ​

Chinese Students in South Korea: Exploring the Mediating Role of Achievement Motivation Between Parental Support and Life Satisfaction

跨文化适应是一个复杂的挑战，直接关系到留学生的学业成绩、人际关系和未来发展。尽管已有研究探讨了父母自主支持对生活满意度的影响，但以在韩中国学生为对象的研究尚未充分探讨。本研究采用了便利抽样法，收集到了韩国大田、大邱和庆北地区的506 名中国留学生样本。研究结果表明，父母自主支持与生活满意度之间存在显著正相关。进一步的中介效应分析显示，成就动机在父母自主支持和生活满意度之间起到了部分中介作用，表明提高成就动机可以增加父母支持对生活满意度的正面影响。这些发现不仅为跨文化理论提供了新的视角，而且为提升在韩中国留学生的生活满意度提供了实证支持。

This study develops tools and materials to address the issue of poor basic English skills to analyze and remediate the difficulties faced by students with low basic skills. By reviewing previous studies, the concept of basic skills and elementary English basic skills was established, and various programs and policies were developed to support basic skills. Analysis of existing diagnostic tools to assess elementary English basic skills revealed that these evaluation methods focused on listening and speaking abilities and overlooked the importance of literacy learning. Therefore, this study proposed areas of an in-depth analysis tool for elementary English basic skills. Moreover, cognitive and affective remediation materials should be developed for students with insufficient elementary English basic skills. Cognitive remediation materials include knowledge of the alphabet, phonemic, phonics, sight vocabulary, word reading, and early reading abilities. Affective remediation materials focus on the affective domain to transform students’ negative attitudes toward learning into positive ones and instill achievement motivation and confidence. Such cognitive and affective approaches are crucial for improving students’ basic English abilities and stimulating motivation and intellectual curiosity toward learning. By accurately diagnosing the difficulties faced by students with low basic skills and implementing effective remedial education, the study proposes practical measures to enhance students’ learning abilities and improve the quality of English education.

ENHANCING PRODUCTIVITY VIA STRENGTHENING ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION AND EFFECTIVE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT

This study investigates the effects of occupational safety and health management and achievement motivation on employee productivity at PT. XYZ (Persero). Utilizing a mixed-method approach, the research integrates quantitative surveys with qualitative analyses. Data were gathered from the Transmission Implementation Units (UPT) in Bogor and Karawang, covering the years 2017 to 2021. Findings reveal that both effective occupational safety and health management and strong achievement motivation significantly and positively impact employee productivity. While both factors directly improve productivity, the mediating role of achievement motivation is less effective compared to the direct influence of occupational safety and health management. The study concludes that enhancing the effectiveness of occupational safety and health management alongside boosting achievement motivation can markedly increase employee productivity at PT. XYZ (Persero). The company is advised to improve occupational safety and health training, closely monitor the work environment, and implement reward programs to recognize and incentivize high-performing employees

Examining The Achievement Motivation Of Papuan And West Papuan Students At Universitas Negeri Semarang

Students of the Papua Province and West Papua Province through the Affirmation, ADik, and 3T scholarship programs are allowed to continue their education in higher education. Semarang State University (Unnes) is one of the universities that accepts students from the Papua and West Papua Adik programs. This research aims to know the achievement motivation of active Papuan and West Papuan students at Unnes and the learning strategies they apply to increase achievement motivation. The research method used in this study is qualitative, with observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are: 1). The academic motivation of Papuan and West Papuan students in completing their education at Unnes is quite good, it can be seen from their characteristics, namely daring to take moderate risks (middle way) and success is carefully calculated. 2) The learning strategies that Papuan and West Papuan students apply in completing lectures and academic problems are pretty good, where they choose the most appropriate strategy to master the learning material.

The effect mechanism of perceived entrepreneurial environment on Chinese college students' entrepreneurial intention: chain mediation model test.

This study aimed to explore the effect of perceived entrepreneurial environment among Chinese college students' entrepreneurial intention and its underlying mechanism. Based on a survey of 445 college students from 5 universities with the perceived entrepreneurial environment assessment scale, the achievement motivation scale, the entrepreneurial self-efficacy scale, and the entrepreneurial intention questionnaire. There were significant correlations among perceived entrepreneurial environment, achievement motivation, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and entrepreneurial intention, and perceived entrepreneurial environment could significantly positively predict entrepreneurial intention. Achievement motivation and entrepreneurial self-efficacy played significant mediating roles between the perceived entrepreneurial environment and entrepreneurial intention. There were three paths that perceived entrepreneurial environment to influence entrepreneurial intention: One was the mediating role of achievement motivation; The second was the mediating role of entrepreneurial self-efficacy; The third was the chain-mediated role of both achievement motivation and entrepreneurial self-efficacy. The internal mechanism of the relationship between perceived entrepreneurial environment and entrepreneurial intention enriches the research results of entrepreneurial psychology among college students and provides a theoretical basis for training and guiding the entrepreneurship of college students.

Role of Achievement Motivation and Metacognitive Strategies Use for Defining Self-Reported Language Proficiency

The present study aims to explore the role of achievement motivation and metacognitive strategies for defining self-reported language proficiency in the context of English as a Second Language. Moreover, the study also investigates the complex relationship that exists between motivation, metacognitive strategy, and self-reported language proficiency as they have recently been identified as key predictors of language proficiency. The present research delves into the ways motivation and metacognitive strategies help learners in acquiring self-reported language proficiency. Further, it highlights the skills that can be targeted by using these strategies. The study indicates that enabling learners with positive attitudes, motivation, and metacognitive strategies can have a constructive effect on learning. To determine the important role, achievement motivation and metacognitive strategies play in defining self-reported language proficiency, the study collects responses from 113 participants who will complete three Questionnaires (one each) on self-reports of language proficiency, metacognitive strategies, and achievement motivation. The measures of Achievement Motivation, Metacognitive Strategies, and Self-reported scores of English language proficiencies (skill-wise) will be collected through the respective instruments, Deo-Mohan Achievement Motivation Scale (n-Ach), Metacognitive Reading Strategies Questionnaire (MRSQ), and Self-Reported Language Proficiency Scores.

ENTREPRENEURIAL BEHAVIOUR AND MOTIVATIONAL SOURCES OF ORNAMENTAL NURSERY OWNERS

The ornamental nursery owners are small- or large-scale entrepreneurs who raise and market their ornamental plant commodities. The ornamental nursery is an enterprise undertaken by a nursery owner to gain self-employment and earn some profit. The present study was conducted using an ex-post facto research design in four talukas of the Navsari district of South Gujarat namely Khergam, Chikhli, Gandevi and Vansda during the year 2022-23. From each selected taluka 25 respondents were randomly selected. Thus, for the present study total of 100 sample size was obtained. The study was conducted to find out the entrepreneurial behaviour and motivational sources for the ntrepreneurial behaviour of ornamental nursery owners of the study area. The entrepreneurial behaviour of ornamental nursery owners was assessed from risk orientation, achievement motivation, scientific orientation, management orientation, innovativeness and decision-making ability. The study revealed that the majority of ornamental nurseries had a medium level of entrepreneurial behaviour. The study also revealed that the majority of ornamental nursery owners had a medium level of risk orientation, achievement motivation, scientific orientation, management orientation, innovativeness and decision-making ability. Additionally, the study revealed that among the six components of entrepreneurial behaviour management orientation contributed the highest in calculating entrepreneurial behaviour, followed by scientific orientation, risk orientation, achievement motivation, decision-making ability and innovativeness based on their mean percentage ranking. The study further revealed that less than half of the ornamental nursery owners had progressive nursery owners, followed by self and neighbours/friends/relatives as their motivational sources for entrepreneurial behaviour.

EXPLORING THE ASSOCIATION BETWEEN PROFILE CHARACTERISTICS AND AWARENESS ON RBK SERVICES ALONG WITH SUGGESTIONS GIVEN BY FARMERS

Rythu Bharosa Kendras also called as Farmer Assurance Centres are the one stop solutions introduced by government of Andhra Pradesh in 2020 aiming comprehensive support to farmers. RBKs have not only brought all services to farmers' doorsteps but have also integrated the latest digital technology. The present study was conducted with a sample size of 120 farmers in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. The main aim for conducting study was to find the awareness level of farmers on all the services provided by these centres. The study findings depicted that a significant portion 76.66 per cent of farmers are having medium level awareness which is followed by 14.17 per cent at low level and 9.17 per cent with high-level of awareness. The correlation coefficient indicated that factors like education level and interaction with extension agencies, the frequency and purpose of visits, mass media exposure, social participation, achievement motivation, and innovative proneness exhibited a strongly significant correlation with awareness level. Alongside farmers provided suggestions for fair distribution of adequate quantity of inputs, providing market for wide crop varieties, to improve access to organic inputs, improving the competency of village agriculture assistants by necessary trainings and timely disposal of rythu bharosa income.

A SCALE TO MEASURE ENTREPRENEURIAL TRIATS OF MUSHROOM GROWERS

In the absence of a suitable scale to measure the entrepreneurial traits of mushroom growers in relation to mushroom production technology in the Jammu region of Jammu and Kashmir (UT), there was a need to construct an entrepreneurial traits scale. Therefore, effort was made to construct a scale to measure the entrepreneurial traits of mushroom growers in relation to mushroom production technology. For the same, 39 statements covering eight traits namely, achievement motivation, decision making ability, economic motivation, risk taking ability, self-confidence, locus of control, planning ability and cosmopoliteness were put together. These statements illustrated the entrepreneurial traits of mushroom growers. Thirty statements were concluded in the final scale. The developed scale will be useful in identifying and studying mushroom entrepreneurs, in shaping government policies and in designing training and seminars through educational and research institutions. This scale will be very advantageous and convenient for researchers, to examine the entrepreneurial characteristics of mushroom growers. This scale can be useful to various financial institutions such as NABARD, MANAGE, govt. of India in setting criterion while grating loans to entrepreneurs.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PROFILE OF FARMERS AND THEIR PERCEPTION ABOUT ORGANIC FARMING

The study was carried out in Gujarat state. Total 160 farmers practicing organic farming and registered under Gujarat Organic Products Certification Agency were selected randomly for the study. Ex-post facto research design was used. The coefficient of correlation was computed to find out the relationship between the variables and the step-wise regression (multiple regressions) analysis was employed to envisage the extent of variation caused by independent variables on perception towards organic farming. Amongst the sixteen selected variables in the study, education, agricultural mass media exposure, scientific orientation, risk orientation, achievement motivation and knowledge about organic farming had positive and highly significant relationship with the perception of farmers towards organic farming. Out of sixteen independent variables, five variables viz. risk orientation, knowledge about organic farming, cropping intensity, annual income and agricultural mass media exposure were found to be influencing on perception towards organic farming which were together contributing 28.70 per cent variation.

FACTORS INFLUENCING DOUBLING FARMERS' INCOME: A CASE STUDY APPROAC

The study was conducted in Karnataka State with a purposive sample of 100 farmers. An exploratory research design with a case study approach was adopted and used to document cases on progressive farmers to determine the variables influencing the farmers income. The respondents were personally investigated, and their cases have been documented. Data analysis was done by using logistic regression model. Totally 47 factors contributing to doubling farmers' income have been identified from all the progressive farmers' cases using thematic analysis. Logistic regression analysis revealed that factors such as hard work, achievement motivation and getting daily income contribute to a larger extent towards doubling farmers' income, hence should judiciously be addressed while planning the development of programs for the farmers.
