Objectives This study conducted a systematic literature review to examine research trends and confirm the char-acteristics and effects of modulating variables by examining research on non-face-to-face video group counseling. Methods Among the studies related to non-face-to-face video group counseling, papers published from January 2020 to August 2023 were collected. The academic search database used for thesis search was the Academic Research Information Service (RISS), the Korean Academy of Information (KISS), and the Academic Database Service (DBpia). The search terms used for the research were used by combining non-face-to-face, video, group, program, counseling, and effect. Based on the selection criteria and exclusion criteria, the final 31 papers were used for analysis. Results Looking at the classification by symptom level, a significant number of studies were concentrated in the general group (87.1%). In terms of classification according to the stage of development, adults (61.3%) and college students or higher (29.0%). The theoretical approach was mindfulness meditation (35.7%), cognitive emotional behavior (17.9%), and integrated approach (14.3%), and the intervention areas were emotions (24.7%), stress (16.4%), and self-concept (15.1%). Regarding the intervention effect, improvements in emotions, stress, inter-personal relationships, and cognitive domains were confirmed. The self-concept and subjective well-being were mixed with conflicting reports. Conclusions In terms of symptoms, additional research is needed including the clinical group including social anxiety, and in terms of developmental stage, including elementary school students and the elderly. Since con-flicting reports are mixed in the areas of self-concept and subjective well-being, a comprehensive and systematic analysis including meta-research needs to be conducted. This study is significant in that it understands the re-search trends of non-face-to-face video group counseling and the effects of each intervention area, and suggests future research directions.

Purpose: The purpose is to collect and analyze research related to the guidance of visually impaired students over the past 10 years published in international academic journals and examine trends related to the guidance and teaching methods of visually impaired students. Method: To this end, in accordance with the NECA Systematic Literature Review Manual, a total of 16 articles related to educational methods for students with visual impairment published overseas from 2013 to 2022 were searched using the overseas academic paper search service and overseas academic paper search site within the domestic academic research information service. collected. Based on the collected research data, the data were analyzed using inductive and deductive methods. Results:First, research was being conducted on structured implementation suitable for the characteristics of students with visual overlap impairment. In relation to this, research was conducted on teaching methods for students with visual impairment to structure the learning environment and thinking process. Second, research was being conducted to identify learner intentions and increase participation. In relation to this, research has been conducted on using assistive technology devices to enhance learners' participation in learning, on using assistive technology devices on improving learners' leisure activities, and on walking education using behavioral interventions. Conclusion: It was confirmed that structuring the characteristics of students with visual overlap disorder is necessary in terms of the learning environment and thinking process. It was confirmed that assistive technology devices and behavioral intervention methods can be used to understand learner intent and increase participation.

Analysis and Design Directions for the 4-year University Beauty Department Curriculum and Microdegree Programs

The purpose of this paper is to propose directions that should be considered when designing microdegree programs in 4-year university beauty departments, in order to adapt to rapidly changing society and industries. To gather data, we utilized the Academic Research Information Service (RISS) to collect and analyze literature on the curriculum of 4-year university beauty departments and literature regarding directions for domestic microdegree programs. As a result, the problems in the curriculum of 4-year university beauty departments have been identified as ‘Lack of emphasis on practical skills’, ‘Disorganized curriculum structure’, ‘Absence of personalization and suitability considerations’, ‘Inadequate incorporation of industry changes and trends’, ‘Challenges in practical application’, ‘Incomplete educational environment and facilities’, ‘Failure to address student demands and opinions’. As suggestions for the direction of domestic microdegree programs, it has been proposed to ‘The development and operation of microdegree programs focused on competency-based education in specific fields according to students' career interests is necessary’, ‘Promotional activities for motivating student engagement and participation in microdegree courses are required’, ‘Continuous student needs assessment, evaluation, and monitoring are necessary for improving the quality of microdegree programs and fostering institutional innovation’, ‘Enhancement of credit recognition for diverse educational experiences and collaboration with industries and government policies is needed’, ‘An establishment of a microdegree committee within universities and the promotion of participation from industry representatives, government policies, alumni, professors, and current students should be encouraged’, ‘The review of government support programs is necessary, and microdegree programs should not be operated superficially by universities solely for the sake of achieving results based on government support’, ‘The organization of competitions utilizing microdegree learning experiences and providing certification opportunities for job-related competencies should be implemented’. Based on the analysis of literature, the following conclusions were drawn regarding the directions to consider when designing microdegree programs in 4-year university beauty departments ‘Establishment of a committee for quality management of microdegree education’, ‘Design and feedback of microdegree programs based on the demands of beauty department students’, ‘Encouragement of easy goal-setting for beauty department students using microdegrees’, ‘Enhancement of competencies through integration between microdegrees and academic disciplines’, ‘Provision of job experience opportunities through microdegrees’, and ‘Importance of industry-academia collaboration and expansion of resources for microdegrees’.

Influence of the Quality of Academic Information Systems (SIAKAD) and Service Quality on Student Satisfaction Faculty of Economics and Business Utp Surakarta

The purpose of this study is to address the academic and administrative problems of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD). This research uses quantitative techniques, analytical descriptive methodology, and collects primary data by sending online questionnaires through Google Form to UTP Surakarta students who are customers of SIAKAD services at the Faculty of Economics and Business. Meanwhile, secondary data for this study was collected from literature studies. The population of this study is 160 FEB students who are regular users of SIAKAD and are enrolled in one of the two study programs Bachelor of Management or Bachelor of Accounting. Proportional random sampling is the method used in the sampling procedure. Based on the research, student satisfaction at the Faculty of Economics and Business UTP Surakarta is strongly influenced by the quality of administrative services and SIAKAD.

Qualified placebo for trials of herbal medicine treatment in rare diseases? A cross-sectional analysis

BackgroundWhile substantial placebos have been used in herbal medicine (HM) clinical trials for rare diseases, the use and quality of reporting of HM-placebo remain unclear. We aim to describe the use of HM-placebo in clinical trials for rare diseases and determine the quality of reporting in these trials.MethodsThis is a cross-sectional study. We searched PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, SinoMed, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, WanFang database, China Science and Technology Journal Database, National Institute of Informatics Support Academic Information Services, ClinicalTrials.gov and Chinese Clinical Trials Registry from their inception date to 14 February 2023 to identify registered and published trials that use placebos as a comparator in rare diseases. We collected data on placebo use reporting and the efficacy and safety of placebo. Descriptive statistics, the Chi-square test, and Binary multivariable logistic regression analysis were used to determine the placebo characteristics of the HM trial and its effect on reporting.ResultsAmong the 55 studies, we included that with a median administration time of placebo of 84 days (IQR 42–180) and a median placebo sample size of 30 (IQR 24–54). About half of the trials (27, 49.1%) did not provide their ethical approvals, and one trial had details of informed consent. None of the studies were fully reported and more than half of the items reported less than 50%. A total of 10 trials (18.2%) of placebo has active ingredients even though none of them performed pharmacological inert tests. Of the 29 studies with available data on adverse events, 5 (17.2%) trials did not show a better safety profile in the placebo group. Under the context that a relatively high-quality report is defined as a report with more than 9 items, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in the rate of relatively high-quality reports of the administration time (p = 0.047, OR 0.10, 95% CI 0.01 to 0.90), but the results are not representative.ConclusionThe overall situation of HM-placebo in the field of rare diseases was poor. In particular, the placebo is tied to the quality of trials, and poor placebo hinders the generation of high-quality evidence for herbal clinical trials in the field of rare diseases. We summarize the current methods of assessment involved in the use of placebos and propose various considerations for placebos in different contexts. Our study can greatly promote rare disease researchers to review the quality of their placebo and clinical trials. It is imperative to guarantee that meticulously conducted research generates clinical evidence of the highest caliber. We also expect that in the future, more rigorous relevant standards about the reporting and design of HM-placebo will be developed. High-quality clinical trials are the prerequisite for the wide clinical application of herbal medicines for rare diseases.

국내 대학생의 진로개발역량에 관한 연구동향 분석

The purpose of this study was to analyze research trends on the career development competencies of college students in South Korea. A total of 25 papers were analyzed, selected from the Academic Information Service (RISS) using keywords 'undergraduate' or ‘college’ and 'career development competencies'. Key findings are as follows. First, studies on career development competencies of college students have been consistently published since 2002, peaking in 2015, primarily in education-related journals. Second, the majority of research subjects were 4-year college students. Third, most studies focused on enhancing career education by exploring the relationship between career development competencies and related variables. Fourth, in terms of research method, it was found that quantitative research conducted as cross-sectional studies were the most. Fifth, the measures of Heejin Sung and Seung-il Na(2012) were the mostly used to measure the career development competencies. In addition, the sub-factors were self-understanding, major and occupational knowledge, career decision certainty, decision-making efficacy, relationship utilization efficacy, and job search skills. Sixth, career development competencies of college students were most often used as a dependent variable and had a positive relationship with employment support service experience, career exploration behavior, employment possibility, major satisfaction, and career decision-making. Based on the research findings, several future research directions in the area of the career development competencies are provided.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine whether college major characteristics make a difference
 in research on career preparation behavior of college students through network analysis.
 Methods Among the papers published on the academic research information service (www.riss.kr), papers related
 to career preparation behavior of college students were extracted, classified by major, and among them, papers
 related to nursing and physical education were selected for analysis. And keyword frequency analysis and
 centrality analysis were conducted and visualized.
 Results As a result of the network analysis, the influential keywords in the nursing department were ‘self-leadership’,
 ‘major satisfaction’, ‘nursing professionalism’, and ‘career decision self-efficacy’. Compared to other majors,
 the influence of ‘career decision self-efficacy’ was very low, and ‘career barriers’ never appeared. Keywords related
 to majors, such as male nursing college students, appeared frequently. In the field of physical education, influential
 keywords were ‘career decision self-efficacy’, ‘major satisfaction’, ‘grit’, ‘career decision level’, ‘social
 support’, and ‘positive psychological capital’. Physical education majors experienced more difficulties in career
 preparation than other majors due to limited employment opportunities and insufficient career preparation
 education. Therefore, keywords such as ‘grit’, ‘social support’, and ‘positive psychological capital’ often appeared
 to help overcome these difficulties.
 Conclusions Since the career preparation behavior of college students showed a discriminatory aspect according
 to the characteristics of their major, the characteristics of their major should be considered in career preparation
 education and career counseling.

외식산업 이직 관련 연구 동향 분석

In this study, text network analysis, one of the content analysis methods, was used to comprehensively and holistically analyze the cumulative performance of turnover-related studies in the food service industry. For this purpose, 346 articles registered in the academic research information service from 1998, when the first article on turnover in the food service industry was published, to April 2023 were analyzed, divided into the pre-turnover period (1998~2009) and the post-turnover period (2010~2023). Key word frequency analysis, centrality analysis, co-occurrence frequency analysis, and CONCOR analysis were conducted, and the results of this study are as follows. First, the number of turnover studies in the foodservice industry has increased dramatically since 2010. Second, in the later period of turnover research, the topics and subjects of turnover research have become more diverse compared to the earlier period of turnover research. Third, it can be seen that the concepts of turnover intention, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and job stress are the most important and influential words in turnover research in the foodservice industry.

This study aims to determine the effect of Academic Information System Quality, Information Quality and Service Quality on Student Satisfaction in the Accounting study program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Jenderal Achmad Yani University. This study uses quantitative data with a descriptive-associative approach. The analysis technique used is Probability Sampling and Simple Random Sampling with 305 samples from a population of 1,283 active students of the Accounting study program class of 2017-2022. The research data was obtained directly from the original source from the Google form by distributing questionnaires to respondents online. The results showed that partially the Quality of Academic Information Systems had a negative and significant effect on Student Satisfaction, while Information Quality had a positive and significant effect on Student Satisfaction and Service Quality had a positive and significant effect on Student Satisfaction. While simultaneously the Quality of Academic Information Systems, Information Quality and Service Quality have a significant effect on Student Satisfaction.

Library and information services’ reflections on emergency remote support and crisis-driven innovations during pandemic conditions

Crisis-driven innovation is needed to manage a scarcity in resources. The recent COVID-19 crisis exacerbated the prevailing digital exclusion in the education sector in particular. Sudden changes in otherwise stable higher education environments necessitated immediate and decisive innovation, particularly where education support services were concerned. This study reports on an academic library and information service’s reflections on emergency strategies implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was conceptualised through the lenses of existing digital exclusion frameworks and information poverty frameworks. The findings from the qualitative data gathered via focus group interviews emphasise the importance of emergency remote library and information services. The pandemic conditions and sudden remote service delivery model highlighted the prevailing socio-economic and socio-technical inequalities and exclusions among students. The value of the study lies in the reflections made on the institution-wide crisis-driven innovation strategy implemented, and the realisation that library and information services must offer active academic support. The study offers a library and information services model to prepare for future eventualities.

Domestic and International Pilates Research Trends: A Review of Literature in Natural Science

PURPOSE This study was conducted for the purpose of exploring the direction and quality of Pilates research in the future by comparing and analyzing research trends in the field of Pilates natural science at home and abroad.METHODS In order to analyze domestic and foreign Pilates research trends, we analyzed academic papers of the last 10 years (2013-2022) in the natural science field, and domestic papers were used as the keyword ‘Pilates’ using DP Pia, Kiss, and Riss, which are academic information services. A total of 105 papers were used by searching. For overseas studies, Pub med and Scholar were used, and only SCI and SCIE papers were collected and 129 papers were searched.RESULTS First, according to the comparative analysis of research trends by domestic and foreign fields, physiology (61%), kinematics (24.8%), and rehabilitation (14.2%) were found in the order of domestic, whereas in foreign countries, kinematics (34.9%) and physiology (33.3%) and rehabilitation (31.8%), a study with a relatively even distribution was conducted. Second, in the comparative analysis by study subject, domestic literature was the highest with 68.7% of studies targeting women, and was conducted separately by various age groups. Foreign fields, 40.9% of studies conducted by gender were found, and there were many studies that considered the characteristics of musculoskeletal disorders and metabolic diseases rather than gender. Third, looking at the comparison by research variable, studies have been conducted on various topics in physiology and kinetic dynamics. However, while domestic studies have focused on changes in body composition, foreign studies are actively conducting research on muscle function, musculoskeletal disorders, and rehabilitation.CONCLUSIONS In summary, it is judged that active research in the field of kinematics and rehabilitation should be conducted for more diverse subjects in the field of Pilates.

Competencies acquired through educational activities also require coping with uncertain situations in the future and cultivating new and diverse knowledge, values and attitudes. This study analyzes research trends on the competency of the history of lifelong education with 90 papers retrieved from DBpia and the domestic academic research information service for 20 years. Research trends of 90 research papers (54 theses and 36 academic journals) related to the history of lifelong education published in domestic papers were analyzed by research year, research publication, and research method by characteristics. The results of the study are: first, 20 years were classified as the 4th period by research year, and out of a total of 90 papers, five papers (5.56%) in the 1st period from 2002 to 2007 and 24 papers from 2008 to 2012 in the 2nd period (26.67%), 36(40%) in the 3rd period from 2013 to 2017, 25 (27.77%) in the 4th period from 2018 to 2021, and 10 (11.11%) in 2016. Second, there were a total of 56 dissertations and 45 master's thesis (80.36%), and lifelong education major thesis was 35 (62.5%). A total of 34 articles were published in academic journals, and by journal, 13 articles (38.24%) were published in mainstream lifelong education and 21 articles (61.76%) were published in non-mainstream journals. Third, as for the analysis results by research method, quantitative research was the most prevalent. Based on the above analysis results, theoretical implications and future research directions are presented to find new solutions for the competency of lifelong education in a rapidly changing world.

텍스트마이닝을 활용한 유아 어머니 양육태도 연구의 동향

This study aims to examine the trends of research related to mothers' parenting attitudes by analyzing academic journal papers published with the keyword 'infant mother rearing attitude' from 2000 to 2022. The research target papers are 587 domestic academic papers collected using the database of the academic research information service. The collected data was analyzed using a network analysis method using big data. As a result of the study, first, as a result of examining the frequency analysis and connection centrality of major keywords in research papers from 2000 to 2022, studies related to mothers, infants, parenting attitudes, and influences were predominant. Connection centrality was highest in infants, followed by mother, parenting attitude, influence, relationship, sociality, temperament, and emotion. Second, as a result of modeling the main keyword topics, the themes appeared in the order of mother, infant, parenting attitude, influence, relationship, sociality, emotion, temperament, problem behavior, and mediating effect. Third, as a result of analysis by Concor network, it was classified into 7 groups. Based on this, it is meaningful to seek future research topics and directions related to infant mothers' parenting attitudes and to provide basic data related to parental education.

This study investigates coaching-related departments and curriculums at domestic and foreign universities to solidify the academic foundation of coaching science based on universities as domestic and foreign coaching-related universities that continue to increase. Various curriculums are also being created through universities and coaching-related institutions. To this end, the names of schools, departments, and curriculum names where coaching was opened at domestic and foreign universities were analyzed through the academic Research Information Service System(RISS) and domestic and foreign sites search. The results of this study are as follows. In domestic universities, 30 undergraduate and master's and doctorate programs were opened in 23 universities, while in foreign universities, 22 universities were opened in the order of coaching-related schools in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia. The names of coaching-related departments at home and abroad are marked in various ways, and as a result, the national coaching certificate course for standardization work was reviewed and presented. The fact that coaching departments have been opened at domestic and foreign universities and coaching curriculums are being operated in various ways is very encouraging in that coaching is more academically organized and excellent professional coaches are being trained. It is also very noteworthy that South Korea has the largest number of coaching departments in the world, and South Korea's coaching status can be unfolded globally.

Academic Information Service Chatbot Using HMM and AIML

UIN Suska Riau campus led to an escalation amount of data and information that must be maintained, such as academic information. UIN Suska Riau is responsible for managing and providing academic information to students and other academic communities. We can ask the Customer Care Center (C3) in Academic System or come directly to the PTIPD UIN Suska Riau office for academic questions. There still has limitations to serving existing questions submitted through C3 because officers can only serve during working hours both online and offline. Chatbots can be used to support the work of C3 officers in serving the questions asked. This system is built based on Named Entity Recognition (NER) using Artificial Intelligence Markup Language (AIML). We perform NER analysis using HMM. This study uses the contents of the academic manual as a base knowledge with 150 categories of questions and 30 answers that produce an accuracy of 55%.

Exploring the Influence Mechanism of Chinese Young Researchers' Academic Information Avoidance Behavior

Researchers can obtain and use information from different channels in the network era, and the explosive growth of information may lead to researchers' academic information avoidance behavior. However, the influence mechanisms of academic information avoidance behavior are unclear. Two studies were conducted to address this issue. In Study 1, we chose young researchers in universities as the research objects to summarize influencing factors including academic information overload, information independence, research task difficulty, time pressure, academic information literacy, negative emotions, and cognitive dissonance of academic information avoidance behavior using social cognitive theory (SCT) and grounded theory. In Study 2, we analyzed the different configuration and key characteristics of academic information avoidance behavior for young researchers using the fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) method. Our results showed that there were four configurations for the formation of academic information avoidance behavior, which were summarized into three types: “time-driven” with time pressure as the core condition, “information-cognitive-driven” with information independence and cognitive dissonance as the core condition, and “emotion-driven” with negative emotions as the core condition. Our study helps to enrich the theory of academic information avoidance behavior, and provides recommendations for young researchers and university libraries in academic research and information services.

Academic library services extension during the COVID-19 pandemic: considerations in higher education institutions in the Gauteng Province, South Africa

PurposeThis paper aimed to determine the extent to which academic libraries and information services were extended due to the emergence of COVID-19 in the Gauteng Province, South Africa.Design/methodology/approachFounded on a pragmatism paradigm, the sequential explanatory research design was adopted to engage with participants and respondents on their experience of library services extensions to support users during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data were collected using online questionnaires and interviews. Cluster and purposive sampling were used and data for the quantitative part were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), whilst qualitative data were analyzed manually.FindingsFindings revealed that academic libraries operating in a higher education environment provided extensive support to remote users during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was done through the utilization of a variety of technology utilization, ranging from traditional e-mail support to the use of technology related to Artificial Intelligence such as the BOTsa, which is a Chatbot aimed to assist users in receiving speedy responses to library-related inquiries.Originality/valueThis study is unique in that it focuses on academic libraries that operate in higher education environments where support for achieving academic endeavors becomes imperative to ensure the smooth execution of teaching and learning activities within the restrictions put in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Adaptions and improvements to academic library services during and post-COVID-19 era were successful in ensuring that remote users could obtain similar services and access to information as was the case before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Preparing for the New Phygital Generation as Potential Academic Library Users in South African Higher Education

Context: Higher education and its academic support services, including academic library and information services (LIS), have continuously been challenged by new technological developments, as well as the quest for transformation toward more inclusive education. The rapid and disruptive technological changes imposed by the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) heralded a new entry-level student, coined the “phygital generation.” This new generation of library users is characterised by an ever-expanding digital imprint and a preference for using mobile technology to navigate all aspects of their daily lives, including how they approach their tertiary studies. Focus: The study interrogates the readiness of information specialists to understand the nature of the phygital generation within a higher education group in South Africa. The changes in information-seeking behaviour are explored with due cognisance of the existing digital exclusions experienced by many South African students. Methodology: Through the lens of the critical theory paradigm and guided by the conceptualisations of post-digital frameworks, critical digital approaches and metacognitive frameworks, qualitative data were collected during a focus group interview. The non-probability sample was purposively selected, consisting of information specialists of a school within a higher education institution. The transcribed data were coded and thematically analysed. Key findings: Key findings show a shift in the information-seeking behaviour of new entry-level students. There is a propensity towards using mobile technology. It is evident that LIS staff in this study are not yet mobilised to accommodate this new trend by adapting existing services to be more open to accommodating mobile technology seamlessly. The participants reported that academic writing skills are affected by short messaging styles used in social media. Understanding the nature of the new phygital student and capitalising on the affordances of mobile learning will support student success. Value: Mobile LIS urgently needs to be formalised and implemented strategically with the needs of the new generation in mind. The need for further institutional reform and innovation is evident. Further research is required on plagiarism trends, copyright infringement and privacy compliance that emerged from the findings of this study.
