Abstract

The article concerns the biography of Zygmunt Brynk, rear admiral of the Russian and Polish Navy, military attaché and marine attaché at the Polish Legation in the USA. The service of Brynk from 1895 to 1918 in Russia was discussed, then after 1918 in the Polish Army, in the diplomatic service, with particular emphasis on the activity in the Society of Polish-American Maritime Navigation S.A. in New York.
