Abstract

OZET Erzurum ekolojik kosullarinda 1981-1983 yillarinda yuruiulen bu arastirmada cayir yumagina ait dort cesit adaptasyon ve onverim denemesine alinmistir. Cesitler sulu kosullarda yetistirilmis ve yilda 10:10:5 kg/da NPK, eylul ve haziran aylarinda iki esit bolum halinde uygulanmistir. Arastirmada cesitlerin yesil ve kuru ot verimleri ile ham protein orani ve verimleri uzerinde durulmustur. Arastirma uc yil sure ile yurutulmus ve iki yil verim alinmistir. Iki yillik ortalamalara gore en yuksek yesil ot verimi Senu (2397.0 kg/da) ve S.215 (2196.3 kg/da) cesitlerinden elde edilmistir. Kuru ot verimi yonunden ise Salfat cesidi (817.3 kg/da) birinci sirada yer almis ve bunu Senu cesidi (794.7 kglda) izlemistir. En yuksek ham protein oranini Wange (% II .0) ve S.215 (% 10.9) cesitleri saglamis ve en yuksek ham protein verimi S.215 (84.9 kglda) ve Senu (833 kglda) cesitlerinden elde edilmistir. Arastirmada kullanilan dort cesidin de bolge kosullan icin uygun oldugunu soylemek mumkundur. A RESEARCH ON SOME AGRICULTURAL CHARACTKR1STICS OF FOUR MEADOW FESCUE {Festuca pratensis Huds.) VARIETIES OF FOREIGN ORIGIN SUMMARY In this research, which was carried out under the echological conditions of Erzurum between 1981 -1983,four meadow fescue varieties were searched in terms of adaptation andpre-yields. The varieties were treated under irrigated conditions and 10:10:5 kglda NPK was applied in two equal parts in June and September everyyear.Jn the research, thefresh weight and hay yields of the varieties and their crude protein raies and yields were studied. The research lasted theree years and good yields were obtained for two years. According to means of two years the highestfresh weight yields were obtained from Senu (2397.0 kg/da) and S.2I5 (2196.3 kg/da) varieties. From the standpoint of hay yieid, Salfat variety (817.3 kg/da) took the first place and Senu variety (794.7 kg/da)followed it. Wange (% 11.0) andS215 (% 10.9) varieties provided the highest crude protein rales whiie the highest crude protein yields were obtained from S.215 (84.9 kg/da) and Senu (833 kg!da) varieties. As a result it is possible to say that allfour varieties are suitable materials for regional conditions.
