Abstract

The article aims to demonstrate how the method of philosophical inquiry and specifically one of its tools, namely the Question Quadrant, can be implemented in teaching English as a Foreign Language. In the first part, the importance of questions in education and the specific characteristics of philosophical questions are discussed. The next part provides practical examples of the application of the Question Quadrant to an EFL lesson. The article concludes with highlighting the benefits of the described methods and the transdisciplinarity of philosophy.
