Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this paper is to identify and categorise the factors that influencing Workforce Agility in Retail Stores (WARS) and to explore the interrelationship among the factors using Total Interpretive Structural Modelling (TISM) approach. This paper ranks the factors based on the driving force and the dependence of that factors. Furthermore, this is the first attempt to understand these workforce agility factors in retail stores using the TISM approach. The result indicates that retail work experience is the driving factor of WARS. The results of this study will be useful in examining the factors that lead to the retailers achieve the workforce agility.
