Abstract

Abstract Purpose of this paper is to identify and categorise the factors that influences agility of Salesforce in Management Responsibility Orientation (SMRO) of retail stores using Total Interpretive Structural Modelling (TISM) approach. This paper analyses interrelationships between the factors and helps to establish a hierarchy between them using their dependence and driving power. Furthermore, this is the first attempt to understand the agility of SMRO factors using the TISM approach. The result indicates that reward system and networking ability are the key or triggering factors of agility of SMRO. The results of this study are useful for exploring the factors that helps retail stores achieve overall agility.
