Abstract
The well-known three basic passive circuit elements - resistor (R), capacitor (C), and inductor (L), defines the three mathematical relations connecting the pairings of four fundamental circuit variables: electric current (i), voltage (v), electrical charge (q) and magnetic flux (phi) as: dV = R * di (resistance) dq = C * dv (capacitance) d(phi) = L * di (inductance)
