Abstract
The study of the wavelet characteristics of the signal makes it possible to identify characteristic patterns in the patterns of physiological rhythms of a healthy person and determine changes in the dynamic complexity of the patterns in the event of various pathological conditions. The paper shows the possibility of using the wavelet characteristics of EEG patterns (electroencephalogram) for automatic detection of epileptiform discharges. A method is proposed for determining EEG frequencies related to noise. The possibilities of compression and filtering of EEG signals are shown. A computational technique for analyzing EEG signals in relation to epilepsy has been developed.
