Abstract

Models of tractors wihtout a cabs from production program of IMR, that was produced for domestic and foreign markets, were exposed to atmospheric conditions, which led to frequent failure in the work of the tractors especially electrical installations, control devices and instruments. The instrument panel of tractors with corresponding electrical equipments, in this case, was directly exposed with high and low temperatures and precipitation whose influence on correctness and continuity in the work of tractors is not insignificant. Tightness of electrical equipments which were installed on tractor specifically on the instrument panel is significant and solving this problem will directly affects the overall quality of tractors. Electrical equipments of tractors involves switches, bulbs, headlights, ignition whose components are of different materials which behave differently in relation to atmospheric conditions. Based on all of the above facts tractor manufacturer IMR conducted a comprehensive research of electrical equipments on tractors without a cabs, which was conducted in three phases. This paper transparently displays laboratory and experimental- exploitation test of electrical equipments before installation on tractors and upon failure to work, in terms of tightness.
