Saxon President University of California David Stephen Saxon: Mr. Saxon has been president of the University of California since 1975. He served as University Provost from 1974–1975 and Executive Vice Chancellor, UCLA from 1972–1975. Mr. Saxon is a member of the American Physical Society, the American Association of Physics Teachers, the American Institute of Physics, and the Constitutional Rights Foundation.
