Abstract
The archives of Joseph Chauvet and Jean-Marie Amelin reveal the existence of epigraphic fragments which belong to a milestone of the Emperor Claudius. The origin of this unpublished document is located in Cournonsec, where the route of the Domitian Way serves as a municipal boundary. On the route between Sextantio and Forum Domitii, this is an important testimony because so far nothing had come to indicate the existence of Augustan or Claudian milestones (with the exception of the so-called milestone of Saint-Denis-de-Montpellieret, reused in the building ; Henri-Prades Museum, Lattes).
