Abstract
Polish-Turkish relations have a rich history. Both states have played an important role in the regional security architecture. The geopolitical aspirations of the two countries also have deep historical roots and continue to retain their importance in the foreign policy of both countries. In the current circumstances, Polish-Turkish relations are of interest as an example of cooperation between two states whose key interests are focused on gaining a new status in the international system. The emerging model of interaction between Poland and Turkey represents a segment of the system of international relations, the process of renewal of which is currently being realised.
