The Role of Museums in the Implementation of the State Cultural Policies on the Formation of Spiritual and Moral Values (Using the Example of Orthodox Projects of the State Art Museum of Altai Krai)

Abstract

The research is devoted to the analysis of modern processes in Russian society from the point of view of the development of national culture, which is based on Orthodoxy. Using the example of museums, their role in the implementation of the state cultural policy on the formation of spiritual and moral values among visitors is considered. On the basis of Orthodox projects organized by the State Art Museum of Altai Krai, the author presents the activities of the museum in the context of the implementation of strategic objectives from the beginning of the foundation of the institution to the present. Based on the results of the research, the strategic goals of the museum in this direction for the near future are formulated.
