Abstract
In most of the world diarrhea is the leading cause of death in infancy. The risks of bacterial enteritis include acute life-threatening fluid losses, renal failure, and impaired growth. Exposure to bacterial enteropathogens varies geographically. In areas where sanitation is poor a variety of pathogens occur at high frequency. In more developed countries a limited range of pathogens is found with only organisms easily spread by direct contact or through contaminated food being commonKeywordsBreast MilkHuman MilkCholera ToxinBreastfed InfantPakistani WomanThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
