Abstract
The purpose of this study was to figure out The relationship of GRIT, resilience, and exercise commitment of collegiate Taekwondo athletes was analyzed and specifically many qualities that Taekwondo athletes should possess were analyzed. totally 360 students were taken as well as 349 valid data were actually collected and analyzed by convenience sampling method. First, continuous attention and steady effort among the sub-factors of GRIT affected control and sociality among the sub-factors of resilience. Second, continuous interest and steady effort among the sub-factors of GRIT had a significant effect on both cognitive and behavioral commitment, which are two sub-factors of exercise commitment. Third, control and sociality, which are sub-factors of resilience, had an effect on cognitive commitment and behavioral commitment among sub-factors of exercise commitment, but positiveness had a significant positive effect on behavioral commitment only. In conclusion, this study is expected to contribute to expanding the research on sports GRIT and to investigate the relationship between GRIT, resilience, and exercise commitment of university Taekwondo athletes.
