Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the effect of a yoga leader’s leadership style on sports self-confidence and athletic commitment. This study is a group that participates in the yoga program in Jeollabuk-do to investigate the effect of yoga leader mentoring on sports self-confidence and exercise commitment. A total of 879 samples were collected for about 8 weeks. A total of 250 copies were selected for the final study, excluding 21 questionnaires, which were judged to be inconsistent or unfaithful responses. The research results are as follows.BR First, mentoring (career development function, psychosocial function, role modeling function) partially affects sports confidence. Specifically, role modeling has an effect on cognitive commitment. Second, mentoring (career development function, psychosocial function, role modeling function) partially affects exercise commitment. Specifically, it was found that the influence of the role model function and psychological social function on the exercise commitment was found. Third, exercise commitment (cognitive commitment, behavioral commitment) was found to affect sport self - confidence. Specifically, both cognitive commitment and behavioral commitment were found to affect sport self - confidence.
