Abstract
The article deals with the problem of the formation of legal culture in general education organisations, provides an analysis of requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for the formation of legal culture of students, reflects the potential of the Fundamentals of Life Safety course in terms of legal culture formation, and also the conditions under which this potential can be realised. The data of the research among the teachers-organisers and Life Safety teachers are presented.
