Abstract

In the conditions of globalization and transition in the world, domination of English as a universal world language increases daily. However, it is not so in Serbia. On the basis of traditional friendship between Russian and Serbian people and the fact that pedagogy and education in Serbia is still bound with Russian pedagogy, a great number of students from Teacher training faculties in Serbia opt for learning Russian. In order to find out Teacher training faculty students' opinion of importance, need and motivation for learning Russian, a research was conducted on the sample of 105 students of Teacher training faculty from Prizren (settled in Leposavic now) in the month of October and November in 2013. Data collected by the research was processed by factor analysis and Krusakl-Volis method.
