Abstract

Abstract. This article considers the problem of the mathematical development of younger students, one way of which is the inclusion in the mathematics classroom virtual tours of their hometown. We assume as the computer support to use virtual tours in their hometown, such rich information that can be used in the preparation of fragments of mathematics lessons and for drawing up the text of math problems and also discover to pay attention to urban form close to regular geometric shapes. Annotation. This article deals with the problem of mathematical development of younger pupils, one solution which is the inclusion of math lessons a virtual tour of his hometown. We assume, as a computer support use virtual tours of his native city, full of such information, which can be used in the preparation of lessons fragments of mathematics and composition of text mathematical problems, as well as tours you can pay attention to the urban facilities in the form close to the correct geometrical figures. We believe that such trips at least partially solve the problem of creation and implementation in practice of training of younger schoolboys of technologies that contribute to the mathematical development of younger pupils and inform children about the traditions, activities, and events facilities hometown. We believe that it is the use of virtual tours, containing interesting material about the mathematical objects, the flora and fauna of his native city, proposed in different forms (photos, video clips, presentations) will make the process of learning mathematics understandable younger students, visual, related to life situations. While working on the research topic, based on consideration of our psychological and pedagogical literature on the subject, and as a result of research, we came to the conclusion that at the moment a lot of attention to pedagogical work is paid to the implementation of various forms of new information technologies in the process training of younger schoolboys and realization of intersubject communications of mathematics in the classroom; as well as identification of significant value to use virtual tours to get, assimilation and retention of new knowledge among primary school pupils. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the value of the virtual tour as a means of mathematical development, and identify opportunities for the use of historical material about the hometown of the lessons of mathematics. Thus, a virtual tour performs primarily a pedagogical function, acting as a carrier of new knowledge, to maintain a dialogue with the student, as well as being an effective means of increasing the level of development of informative activity of younger students, helping them deeper and brighter to comprehend the phenomena of reality, and to know peace.
