Abstract

This study presents an analytical approach to the labor market, based on the effects of the Outsourcing Law (No. 13.429/2017), the lack of qualifications for the labor market, the pandemic context, and the challenges generated by the political and economic oscillations experienced in Brazil and around the world. This work aims to analyze the environment and possible motivations that have caused unemployment in Brazil today, in order to build a repertoire that discusses the feeling of professional instability that has plagued the population due to the economic and political crisis. This examination is justified by the need to create models of understanding applicable to scenarios of success and failure when it comes to acquiring and maintaining formal jobs in the country. The essence of the results offered by this research is that, in a context of volatile job vacancies, salaried employment, characterized by indefinite contracts, has been replaced by a new type of wage relationship that is less based on job stability and more adjusted to contemporary uncertainties. The research's main bibliographical contribution is the book Globalization and unemployment: diagnosis and alternatives, by Paul Singer (2012)
