Abstract

Objective To analyze the influence of systematic nursing intervention on the recovery of patients with thyroidectomy before and after surgery. Methods Patients with thyroidectomy in our hospital were divided into two groups according to the random number table method, and patients with the even numbers were taken as the observation group and patients with odd numbers were considered as the control group, 45 cases in each group. The control group were given the routine care during perioperative period, while the observation group was given systematic nursing intervention during perioperative period. The systolic blood pressure and change of heart rate at each period of the two groups were detected, besides, the intraoperative pain degree was evaluated. And the situation of hospitalization, satisfaction for the quality of comprehensive nursing care and the occurrence of complications of the two groups was compared. Results The average length of stay and average medical expense of the observation group was shorter or less than that of the control group(P 0.05). In other times, the systolic blood pressure and heart rate of the observation group were lower than that of the control group(P 0.05). The incidence of complications of the observation group was obviously lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The systematic nursing intervention before and after the surgery can effectively relieve the tension of the patients, and reduce the patients' heart rate and the fluctuations of blood pressure. Therefore, it is advantageous to the smooth thyroid gland surgery, and it can increase patients' satisfaction for nursing work and is worth clinical popularization. Key words: Systematic nursing intervention; The thyroid gland resection; Situation of recovery
