Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of systematic nursing intervention on physiological stress index, anxiety and depression of patients with thyroid. Methods A total of 86 cases of patients with thyroid disease who received operation in our hospital from October 2014 to October 2015 were selected as the research objects and were divided into study group and control group according to the random number table, 43 cases in each group. In the control group, routine nursing intervention was carried out, and the research group was introduced into preoperative systematic nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, numeric rating scales (NRS), self rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) score and self rating Depression Scale (SDS) score of the two groups at admission, after the intervention of 2 days and the 2nd, 4th after the operation were recored. Results There were no significant differences in systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and heart rate between the two groups (P>0.05) at the beginning. The results showed that the systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and heart rate of the patients in the study group were lower than those in the control group after 2 days and the 2nd, 4th, and the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05). After the operation 2nd and 4th, the NRS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05). The SAS and SDS scores of the study group were significantly lower than that of the control group (2D) after the 2nd and 4th of the operation, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions The systematic nursing intervention mode for patients with thyroid surgery is helpful to reduce the physiological stress, and it can improve the negative emotional state of the patients, so it is worth to be further promoted in clinical practice.
