Abstract

The article describes the results of an experimental study conducted to identify the impact of chronic somatic diseases on the academic motivation of students of higher educational institutions. Psychodiagnostic techniques were of used to complete the study. It was detected the presence of the disease of the first year students, their nature, shape, relativity to the training activities. The second part of the study determined the difference in the motivation to educational activity among persons with chronic somatic diseases and those who does not have them. The results of the study can be used to improve the educational process at the higher educational institution.
