Methods 158 patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease treated in our hospital from August 2015 to April 2018 were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table, 79 cases in each group. The patients in the control group received the routine nursing model, while the patients in the observation group received Orem theoretical nursing. The changes of the drug compliance and lifestyle of the two groups were observed and analyzed after nursing. Results After nursing, ADL score in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05); the compliance rate (93.68%) in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (68.35%) (P<0.05); the proportion of smoking, drinking, high-fat diet, lack of exercise, and excessive body mass in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).
