Abstract

Objective To estimate the value of CDFI used in the diagnosis of in the lower extremities.Methods 41 cases with thrombosis proved by surgery having been examined by ultrasonic equipments to find the sites, types, manifestations of thrombosis, and the degree of atherosclerosis and the state of blood flow. Results All cases of arterial thrombosis found in the lower extremites by CDFI conformed with operation. Most of the sites of thrombosis found in popliteal and femoral arteries. Conclusion CDFI can be used to diagnose thrombosis in the lower extremities in real-time, easily, rapidly, and exactedly and can be used as a convenient method to offer exact data for surgeons.
