Abstract
(Abstracted from Obstet Gynecol 2022;139:157–162) Ovarian cancer represents a disproportionate amount of mortality associated with gynecologic malignancies, with more than 13,940 deaths annually. Two factors that significantly contribute to this are the phenomenon that most women are diagnosed at an advanced stage, and most develop recurrent and chemoresistant disease.
