Abstract

Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) sensor are label-free optical fiber sensor used for advanced optical biosensing applications. They also made considerable strides in the sensing of different chemical and biological organisms. The theory and implementation of SPR sensors are introduced and thoroughly summarized in this study. We describe the mechanism of SPR sensors and provide a detailed overview of the optical architecture, including the substrate and surface plasmon excitation modes. Furthermore, applications based on SPR sensors are represent-ed in chemical and biosensing application.
