Abstract

Supervision is a form of assessment carried out by the Principal of the school to teachers, staff and students at school to see how far the teacher provides innovative teaching in class, how staff can work professionally, or students who have high enthusiasm in a particular subject. lesson. Academic supervision with a religious approach at Takari 3 Public Middle School is a topic raised by researchers in this scientific paper. In this paper, the researcher wants to find out to what extent the Principal carries out activities or actions of academic supervision by using a religious approach in the process, as well as what kind of application of Christian values ??the Principal wants to adopt or practice while he is carrying out supervision activities for teachers and staff. who work under his leadership. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results of the study show that supervision is carried out in several steps, starting from administrative supervision, class visits, private meetings, meetings with teachers and staff so that in the end they can determine plans for follow-up implementation. Thus the Principal continues to strive to create a peace-loving atmosphere for teachers and staff under his leadership.
