Abstract
This study is aimed to analyse the cervical cancer LETM1 domain-containing protein 1 of Homo sapiens with the selected different mammalian species, such as Mus musculus, Xenopus tropicalis, Bos taurus, Pan troglodytes. Cervical cancer is cancer in the cervix, the lower, narrow part of the uterus. LETMD1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the LETMD1 gene. LETMD1 is involved in tumourigenesis and may function as a negative regulator. The selected five species sequences were collected from Fasta. Human LTMD1 protein sequence was retrieved from the Swiss-Prot. Protparam is used to compute molecular weight, theoretical pI, amino acids composition, atomic composition, extinction co-efficients, estimated half-life, instability index, aliphatic index and grand average of hydropathicity. RasMol is used as molecular graphics program intended for the visualisation of proteins, nucleic acids and small molecules.
