Abstract
Study capacity educational facility of post eruption Karo district in North Sumatra Sinabung. This study aims to determine the carrying capacity of educational facilities post Sinabung volcano eruption. This study classified research study was a descriptive type with kualitatif approach is the approach that gather information from key informants That approach gather information from key informants, key informants were high school geography teacher at Karo 1 Simpang 4. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observation and interviews. Engineering Data analysis was performed with the descriptive stage, requirements assumptions, and the model path analysis and conclusions. The results of this study found that: 1 As a result of the disaster Sinabung infrastructur school facilities to be broken and used as a place of refuge for the people. 2 Government and donors provide assistance to students and schools affected by the eruption of Mount Sinabung in the form of scholarships and supporting learning tool as well as the volunteer teachers.
