Abstract
Gold thread embroidery craft in the districts Sungai Beremas is handicraft business in a hereditary from previous parents. Obstacles wich was pound in development gold thread embroidery craft this is motifs design that are used are still using wich is al ready motifs previous, because lack of knowledge in creating motif design, this makes the product resul less varied. The purpose of this study is to describe the design of motifs, tool and materials, and manufacturing technique gold thread embroidery craft in the districts Sungai beremas. This research method is a qualitative descriptive method. The types of data are primary and secondary data. Data collection technique through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate there are special caracteristics inthe manufacturing technique gold thread embroidery craft in the disticts Sungai Beremas Wet Pasaman, namely the sikuluang, sikuluang ambek-ambek, labu, and mocco method to fill the inside of the motif.
