Strategi Pengembangan Terminal Gerbang Sari Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu

Abstract

The purpose of this risearch for describe to the Development Strategy of the Gerbang Sari Bus Stasiun in Indragiri Hulu Regency in order to function optimally in terms of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at the Gerbang Sari Terminal, Indragiri Hulu Regency. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Informant retrieval technique is Purposive Sumpling. Sources of research data are secondary data and primary data, secondary data sourced from Transportation Agency agencies and perimer data from informants in the field. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display and conclusions. The result of risearch shown: 1. Encouraging the acceleration of the development of various types of public service facilities, especially around the terminal area, 2. Optimizing the role and function of the terminal as a place for transfer and accumulation of vehicles by improving services, 3. Increasing law enforcement. 4. Cooperating with the Indragiri Hulu Regency government in curbing the shadow terminal, 5. Improving the physical condition of the terminal, and 6. Increasing the terminal users discipline.
