Abstract

This research was conducted at the tourist attraction Croco Lityre Waterpark Sungai Lala Village, Sungai Lala District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of tourism location and promotion mix on interest in visiting the Croco Lityre Waterpark tourism object, Sungai Lala Village, Sungai Lala District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis method and SPSS version 26 . The population in this study are all visitors who are visiting Croco Lityre Waterpark in 2020 with a total of 4.123 people. Sampling was determined by accidental sampling technique and obtained a total sample of 98 respondents. Data collection techniques through questionnaires. The types and sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. From the data analysis which includes validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination test, and significance test with t test (partial) and f test (simultaneous). The results of this study indicate that the results of the first t test hypothesis testing, tourist sites on visiting interest are t count (5,261) > t table (1,66088) which means that tourist locations have a significant effect on visiting interest. The two promotion mixes on visiting interest are t count (8,041) > t table (1.66088) which means that the promotion mix has a significant effect on visiting interest. The results of the calculated f test (35,648) > f table (3.09) which means that the tourist location and the promotion mix simultaneously affect the interest in visiting the Croco Lityre Waterpark tourist attraction, Sungai Lala Village, Sungai Lala District, Indragiri Hulu Regency
