Abstract
StevenV. Sommovigo is a native Virginian. He has studied art at the University of Virginia and from private instructors, focusing on both graphic and fine arts. He designs logos and develops brochures for private and corporate business. In the fine arts area, he works with watercolor, pastel, and mixed media. He has participated in group shows and in individual shows including the McLean Project for the Arts, The University of Virginia, and the Emerson Gallery. His mixed media works have been displayed by corporate calendars and the national magazine called, “Quilter's Newsletter Magazine.” He was originally employed in the commodities industry; but upon the onset of epilepsy, he has relied on his care for the fine arts.
