Abstract

We present an investigation of the problem of stability of plane parallel flows in a magnetized plasma, based on magnetohydrodynamics equations. The corresponding eigenvalue problem, for incompressible velocity perturbations, is solved numerically, by using continuous profiles for both plasma density and velocity at equilibrium.
