Abstract
Workers are a core labor force, playing a significant role in the country's socioeconomic development. However, amidst the strong push for industrialization and urbanization, Vietnamese workers face many complex social issues that directly affect their quality of life, sustainable development, and the nation. These challenges include unstable employment, job shortages, housing shortages, and the lack of cultural and recreational facilities; difficulties in establishing emotional and marital relationships and maintaining family happiness; and an increasing risk of social vices. Identifying and deeply analyzing these issues is crucial to proposing appropriate solutions, improving workers’ lives, and ensuring sustainable development goals. This paper focuses on clarifying the four prominent issues mentioned above, providing a comprehensive perspective, and suggesting policy recommendations for the future.
