Abstract

In this paper four difficulties within the framework of relativistic electrodynamics are revealed. The first two refer to the incompatibility of addition law of noncollinear velocities with the equations of Einstein-Minkowski electrodynamics. The lack of covariance of equations describing the electromagnetic wave propagation in any direction different from that of the velocity is the object of the last difficulties.
